super~! first post!
Finally, time to see if Zoro and Luffy were "pretending" or really didn't hear. :P Thanks BF
If that 'shadowed figure' in the cover page is the moon gophers' opponent, I'm willing to bet he's made out of rubber.
Thank you for the chapter :)
Awesome! Thanks!
Thanks as always!!

Supaa!!! TQ BF :D
first page yay !! thanks bf
LOL @ Luffy's face at the end. Looks even goofier on a larger scan.
And Garp is nuts. And a merciless bastard. … Cool! So cooooool! [/Chopper]
Looks like the spoiler thread translation missed a few parts. Hope a new one will come up soon.
T____T it is really good to see luffy crying and he was much more than usopp! XD
Well, nice chap, nice end too!!! Thank you very much battle franky!!!
AWESOME
So glad I didn't read the spoilers this week! party
Thanks Bat'-Fran'
Let me be the first to say Usopp's whole "super captain usopp" thing pissed me off, though not as much as "they built me a new boat" it seems he really hasn't grown and upon much thought from the spoiler thread i think the doubters are right in saying that he would've said anything to get back upon the boat. he still lacks the respect for the hierarchy of the ship and that's a shame a whole arc dedicated to his growth and in the end he didn't grow at all.
Zoro is a champion amongst Champions though, a real first mate. fucking proud to have him be part of the crew.
Hope this reads better than the summary!Thnx..Also rly hope this continues into the next chapter.
Usopp grew in that he swallowed his pride and aplogized but Luffy and Zoro could've been more 'sensitive' about the whole thing. In the end all the blubbering and Usopp whininh rly annoyed and disapointed me abit.
It was emotional to finally have Usopp rejoin but I was hoping for abit more and something alittle cooler and more err..dignified. I mean he went out crying and defeated and came back in crying and defeated..Oda-sensei made Uso-kun look so kewl and gain ppl's repect and attention with the Vs.Luffy thing and Sogeking..and now THIS?!
Oh and Garp+KIJI AWESOME! I hope they're both more active in the story from now on. Ao Kiji atleaset..from the looks of things, is sticking around for awhile.FINALLY!
All right, Usopp, you apologized. Good first step. Now redeem yourself and blow up Garp's ship.
Btw, Garp just registered a 40 on the Badass meter.
Thank you very much, you've improved my day by A LOT :)
Thanks BF.
Garp am badass total.
@Ao:
Usopp grew in that he swallowed his pride and aplogized but Luffy and Zoro could've been more 'sensitive' about the whole thing.
been more sensitive? how and why? both went above and beyond board in ignoring his second mutiny attempt and all his other bullshit. ultimately if usopp thinks he can solve all his arguments by fighting and/or threatening to leave then he shouldn't be on the ship in the first place. i mean it's not like they don't have another gunner now anyway.
I gotta say, I'm still dissapointed with Garp. Throwing cannon balls is nothing, I wanna see him hurl some ships at the SH. He's not officialy badass until he does that.
WHOA! How the heck did Ussop stick that landing jumping from the 2nd section??

Usopp was clearly an emotional mess after the whole incident with the Franky Family. He was already overloaded with insecurities about his usefullness to the crew, on top of the fact that he was already more attached to the Merry than the others. Having Luffy nonchalantly say "Okay boat's done, we're switching, let's check out this catalogue" was not the right way to break it to him.
Then to top it off, when Usopp understandably got upset over the idea of discarding a 'friend' just because he's of no use anymore (he wasn't there when Luffy protested the Galley-La guys) and the argument escalated into a fight, Luffy blurts out that he should just leave the crew - consolidating Usopp's fears.
So YES, they could've been damn well more sensitive about it.
Thank you BF ^^
Really finally he Usopp joined the crew. And almost everyone (except Aldrich ;-P) is happy
though not as much as "they built me a new boat"
That was just a crappy trans.
What he says is 立派な船もできた事だしな!!, which is more along the lines of "And there's a great new boat as well". Not really any nuance about it being his.
WHOA! How the heck did Ussop stick that landing jumping from the 2nd section??
Ah yeah, I have noticed but I forgot to comment!!!! O___O SO FAST?!?! er… ok^^'''''''
And he didn't even get more hurt!!!! XD maybe in the end he will have more HP than any strawhat!?!?!? XPPP
Well Usopp does get beaten up a lot. Doesn't surprise me.
Thanks BF good to have this.
@Fire Fist:

So, how good is 40 in relation to other cool characters like Aokiji, Lucchi and Dragon then?

Thankfully, that does make a significant difference in the attitude of his speech.
Oh yeah, I also forgot to comment on the whole bridge-jumping. Great scene, he didn't even flinch. (Shows there's at least one positive change.)
So, how good is 40 in relation to other cool characters like Aokiji, Lucchi and Dragon then?
I didn't like Lucchi. I don't like Soldier robots. As useful as they are, they're nothing more than tools to be exploited. A killer who doesn't think for himself is not my idea of a great villian.
We know too little about Dragon to make him a badass. He's cryptic, some people think he has wind powers (But he may or may not), and he's a revolutionary leader. Plus, he's Luffy's father and Garp's son. That's all we know.
Kuzan is Luffy's natural enemy. Every person has to have one. In the presence of cold, Rubber loses its elasticity. So, just as Luffy was a foil to Enel, Kuzan is a foil to Luffy. And yet, though he seems like he's plotting something, He's not quite as badass as Garp, the man who cornered Gol D. Roger.
Now, Saulo was a badass. Lifting 500 ton Battleships and tossing them around because people are shooting at his Nakama? That just shits awesome. Like the Franky Budlight Commercial.
The scale goes to 10, btw.
Personally I think people need to go back and reread the fight. All the people talking about Luffy needing to apologize are simply nuts. While Luffy handled it poorly in the beginning, he didn't say "The ship is going to break and we can't use it anymore," he said "Merry is going to die!" Then he goes on to say he wouldn't have made that choice otherwise. Usopp goes off and not only insults Luffy repeatedly, but he tries to undermine Luffy's authority as a captain, and disrespectfully at that. THEN he challenge Luffy to a duel.
Yeah. Some people are forgetting this - Luffy is the motherfucking captain, and I'm glad Zoro reiterated as much. Zoro is totally right - Usopp and Luffy are NOT equals, and if Usopp is the kind of person who's going to just run off and let his own personal insecurities make him flake on his crew, then he isn't the kind of person who belongs on the ship. Usopp NEEDED to grovel - that shit he was trying to pull with "Super Captain Usopp" is just typical, immature Usopp, and I would've been hella upset if that got him back on the ship.
Oh, and there's no "super captain usopp".
He said "fukusenchou", which just means vice-captain.
Not that it makes that much difference, Zoro's still right.
hooray !!! thanx a lot for the up
Is good for the crew that Usopp continues being weak and insecure, perhaps is good from the perspective of the hierarchy inside the ship but from the point of view that a Usopp with power could be a mini-blackbeard.
Now Usopp have seen that he is important in the crew, Sanji and Zoro made him saw the truth with Robin rescue but his lack of confidence on himself makes him totally blind about his position.
In other words, Blackbeard and Usopp did the same thing with the difference that blackbeard is strong and killed an ex-nakama in the mutiny and Usopp is weak and failed on his purpose.
I WILL enjoy it, thank you Battle Franky!
Thank you Battle Franky.
Has anyone noticed that new Strawhat's ship has paws as anchors, it looks great.

Second page, can't wait for the new arc.
Great chapter.
Zoro and Garp were spectacular, and I found the Usopp scene quite human. A very realistic solution to the Usopp problem considering the character and the situation.
And seeing how he seems to realize his position, I expect great things from him in the future.
Still think him going to Elbaf with the giants might have been very cool though.

Exactly, i don't know why it's so hard for Usopp to accept that he's a non-ranking officer or that he's not equal to Luffy but he needs to accept that and quickly. his insubordination is pitiful and disgusting.
That panel of Usopp begging, prostrating himself… That's quite something. What a man.

Luffy was not wrong for the decision he made - it was the RIGHT decision and showed his growth as a captain. But what sets him apart from people like Krieg was that he was also compassionate to his crew and does see them as equal, despite their positions. That's what makes the SHs unique/strong/blahblah. In the end even Sanji had to set Luffy straight there. Usopp was acting rashly, but he wasn't trying to undermine the captain because of some "Super Captain" desire (I don't know why people seem to think this). That's why the fight was so awful, you could sympathize with both sides.
Groveling just to be taken back doesn't exactly help someone overcome their insecurity.
I dislike this whole "shut up and fall into line" strict ranking that Zoro encourages. But since the initial translation got a few things wrong, I'll wait for one based on the chapter release before lingering on that.
Yeah, I don't see where all the nonsense about Usopp wanting to be captain instead of the captain comes from. The fact he left the crew can be explained by a lot of factors, none of them being him thinking he's the real captain of the crew or Luffy's equal when it comes to giving orders.
is the last page missing?
I uploaded the LQ raw,too.
