I havent seeing a thread on this game so here is one. Im really hook on this game. It takes the rhythm concept into a ds very fun and challanging. Im only in the normal difficulty.

I think the there was another thread somewhere, but it under the title "Osu! Tatake! Ouendan!" (Same game, different events and songs)
I've played a few times at EB Games, I don't have a DS (yet) but its quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
-
I'll stick with Ouendan
-
People call it a spiritual sequel to that game. I havent played Ouendan do.
-
I hear nothing but good things but I just can't buy a game like this with a track list including "Sk8rboi" and its ilk.
-
Tis a great game, regardless of the chosen music. Currently on "Sweatin''" (hard) mode (the final stage is freakin' ridiculously hard x_X ).
-
I just got the game 2 weeks ago is it good that im on normal difficulty?? (I Already beat easy mode completly)
-
It is a hard game! I am currently on the Last Level on Hard ROCK! Mode (The Hardest Mode, AKA Insane) But I let a friend borrow the game so I could play Jump Ultimate Stars In Peace.
-
I am definatelty getting the import version, if only to play this song:
-
uuggghh ready steady go

I have both games. I love them both, I like being able to read whats going on during the senarios and what not. But I like the song selection more from the original because well I get less distracted.
However, the movements for the squad way better in EBA than in Ouendan, they're a lot more smoother and actually do different actions (for the most part) for each song. Yeah I probably shouldn't be paying attention to them dancing, but you do notice it.
I'm stuck on the last stage for Hard in Ouedan, and I'm on Hard as well in EBA, but not quite at the end.
Both fun, if you don't want to spend the extra money to import the original then EBA is good enough. But I do reccommend looking into getting the original. Things that they cut out of EBA: the fire when you have a long combo, I kinda miss the fire when you're… on fire, and I just found it funny when they'd groan when you missed.

Hard ROCK+The Anthem+Let's Dance=Bane of my existance, until I get to the last stage.

Uh oh slash alert.
Points at avatarI like it too.
Also, that shitty excuse for a music track Sk8er Boi can be really fun to play on hard. I haven't got Ouendan. I'm not into importing.

Don't let the occasional crappy songs fool you. EBA is actually really good. Ouendan had a few not too thrilling songs (Secretary/violin/final level gr argh), but after you get past them they're really not all that bad. The only crappy song that really gets in the way in EBA is the second to last one. Man that level was terrible. Even the likes of Sk8r Boi lol and even La La or whatever the hell it's called really aren't that bad in the context of the game. I mean, Sk8r Boi (lol) didn't match its scenario at all, but it was a fun level. And La La or whatever had hot nurses and the level itself wasn't creepy as hell like the Ouendan equivalent.
! There's something about helping an athlete get over a fever by cheering for hot chicks with someone screaming "LA LA!" in the background that's marginally less creepy than keeping a violinist from shitting his pants by cheering for superheroes with someone screaming "CAN YOU MASTER BABY!?" in the background.

BobTheDarkONE, I cant help but notice your avatar.
-
Yes. Its quite distracting.
-
It's really good! Kinda of like a sequal to Ouendan XD

I just finished the last two missions on HARD ROCK difficulty, and I have to say that this is my favorite rhythm/music game ever, which for me means it's better than Gitaroo Man or Guitar Hero. I totally recommend this game to anyone who owns a DS. The gameplay is fun and challenging (that final stage took me almost an hour straight to beat), and the scenarios are absolutely hilarious. My favorite stages are probably the Destiny's Child song, the Earth, Wind, and Fire song, and the Jackson Five song.
-
Yeah, I have Ouendan and Guitar Hero and, while both are really good, I like Ouendan a lot better. I'm not buying EBA though because there are still bunch of things I could do in Ouendan. But if I ever get done with it, then I might look for this one.
-
Well, I've played Ouendan, and EBA just appeals to me more. I mean, the only Ouendan song I had heard of was Ready Steady Go, the basic mechanics of EBA are more refined (cleaner visuals, skipping opening sequences), and I sort of prefer the concept of using the power of funk rather than the power of "inner passion" or whatever those Ouendan characters are doing. Plus, the final stage in EBA is only the most ridiculous, most hilarious scene I have ever witnessed in a video game.
-
YO I have just got it, and EBA IS one of the best Rythme games i have ever played. It reminds me when i played parappa the first time
-
I play the game at Gamestop it's hard to do i use the stick i always lose at that game

I played the Nintendo DS download Demo of this game and found so far found it entertaining and challenging
