The 23rd of December, I think at 10, MAR (how the hell do you make that umlaut appear over it?) premiers on Toonami. I started watching it on Jetstream when it came out, I think it's a really nifty series. The english voices and stuff could be better, but I like the dub.

So, I've seen the manga and the anime and am watching the dub. The voices…could be better, expecally Ginta's. Overall it's a really good dub. But, they have VAs recycled from Naruto. Ex: Nanashi is Gaara and Alviss is Sasuke.

So, I've seen the manga and the anime and am watching the dub. The voices…could be better, expecally Ginta's. Overall it's a really good dub. But, they have VAs recycled from Naruto. Ex: Nanashi is Gaara and Alviss is Sasuke.The VA thing isn't uncommon. Yuri Lowenthal and Johnny Young Bosch are two great VA's and they've done multiple VIZ projects (MAR, Bleach, Naruto) and they've done great each time. Reusing VA's is acceptable, because the pool of good english voice actors is more limited than the japanese ones.

I liked the manga, but I hate the crappy 3D effects in the anime.
Some of the censorship in the anime is hilarious too.

Yeah I started the manga, I have enjoyed it so far, but the anime's CGed scenes are just too similar to Duel Masters for my tastes.

May have mentioned this in another thread, but I've been collecting it so far (got through vol. 7 but haven't read any yet) and almost got more except my mind was more concerned about saving money. But what I've seen…I just love the fairy-tale battle concept, so sue me.

Not sure myself (since I don't want spoilers), but MAR Omega appears to be a continuation by one of Anzai's assistants with some other kid from that world using Babbo. (I know a bit on the original from Wiki but trying to suppress it so I can read it purely)

Yeah, I just saw that picture too. It sucks, because Snow's actually a pretty cool character, considering she's a princess and a mistress in distress (not a big fan of those types of characters).
Anyways, I'm near episode 30 right now, and I hope the fighting for Ginta improves. When I say that, I mean more tircks and hand-to-hand techniques (martial arts, maybe?), rather than a who-can-summon-a-stronger-monster contest. Same applies for Jack with plants and mushrooms.

Yeah that always bugged me in the manga.
! Close to the end, every fight is ended by "Here's a super powerful Guardian ARM out of nowhere!"
! Until then the fights are usually awesome, though. -
