Would you like Luffy to follow in Shanks' footsteps and leave the Grandline before his final onslaught of the One Piece to get some nakama from the other blues' first?

(of course i don't know why Shanks actually came to East Blue, one can only assume it's as his superior said, and Shanks actually went to see what's colder the north pole or south pole, exploring the world. all in all, speculation. but the question remains, should Luffy explore the world or just go straight for the New World?)

I recommend: Peerless Martial God, Renegade Immortal, Gourmet of Another World, Trash of the Counts Family and The Great Ruler

I don't think Luffy will follow in Shanks' footsteps because Shanks (presumably) went all the way to the end of the Grand Line with Roger the first time. Then he went off with his own crew and explored the world and finally tackled the Grand Line again.

Its pretty hard to leave the Grandline, so i think Luffy will stay there and go straight for Raftel.

i think he will stay on the grandline, mabye after reaching raftel he will expand but im not counting too much on it….

Something i have been pondering at is.. If Roger took his crew and such to raftel how come none of them can go there now and get one piece.. like shanks to say??

Leaving Grand Line at this point would seem anticlimatic. But I'm all for World Exploration after reaching the end of Grand Line. Unfortunately, One Piece will probably end with Raftel. Maybe Oda will take pity on us and draw some sequels?

Using the technology from Dr. Begabank, I'd love to see him 'conquer' the other 3 Blues before approaching the New World. But, that would take the manga a boatload of chapters before even getting close to the end and nobody wants to see an über-long story that's too drawn out.

You come at the king, you best not miss.

I'm also inclined to think that the mugiwaras are going to stay on the Grand Line / New World. This recent revelation of Dr. Begabank's technology might amount to something in the future, though, like the mugiwaras having to escape or pursue somebody into one of the Blues in a future story arc.

But truthfully, natli's suggestion seems the most realistic. After the conclusion of the manga, assuming that most of the nakama is still alive and together, there might be a sequel that takes place somewhere besides the Grand Line. That seems like a decent possibility.

I don't like the idea of the mugiwaras leaving the grandline. It's just that I can't imagine any challenges for this crew in the blues.
But this might be the perfect subject for some filler episodes or a movie?!

Yeah, I agree. There's nothing on the blue seas. And do you imagine, a 300 millions guys on East Blue ? He was already the best with his 30… No, his place is on the Grand Line, and when he'll have reached and discovered Rough Tell, it will take several years to explore the whole Grand Line. Even a life...

Furthermore, if he's well-known on Grand Line, he's well-known everywhere. I imagine a come back on the Blues', of course, in order to visit family and friends... But that's all.
