I was looking through the color walks yesterday when i noticed something. Sometimes chopper has a piercing, like for instance the color spread in color walk two where they're all chilling with that huge dog. He has his right antlear pierced..curious…curious indeed. XP

It's not a piercing, it's a metal clamp to hold his antler on, from when it broke from fighting the reindeer on Drum Island during his flashback.
Reindeer don't regrow their antlers like regular deer do. -

I see it, it's the only time we've seen Chopper's antler pierced, but it is pierced, and it's NOT the bracket holding his antler on, because that's his left antler that broke off.

I've seen Weirder things, Like having a Golden ring 'pierced' threw the fur of a badly drawn wolf tail.

Could it be that Oda actually did one of his characters in a different costume? He's actually done this multiple times.
Many artists do this. It's just a matter of expirementing with accessories on your characters.
Besides, it's a color spread, so I doubt it ties in with the story. At all. Not even a little.
