in a year and two weeks i will rejoice along side you. Until then, what are your plans now? year off? college?if so what college?
-
Nice XD Congratulations! I got out of school on Tuesday, but the graduation ceremony isn't until this coming Thursday. I'm the valedictorian so I have to give this awful cheesy speech… and let me tell you, I definitely snuck a part about sailing the Grand Line and becoming the pirate king into it.
-
Holy crap… would anyone get the reference?
(I just left a graduation I was performing at not too long ago. Boring, cold, and raining when it was over.)
-
Eh, a few, but I think anyone who would get it is already my friend and knows it's coming. XD Actually, one of my best friends is the salutatorian (second place guy) and she has to give a speech too, and she put something about One Piece in hers too. We're so pathetic, this is all we can do to keep from killing ourselves over these stupid speeches. x_X.;
-
xD, I graduated already
-
I graduate next thursday! :3 Woo hoo! Then on June 6….... off to college......
-
congrats i will be graduating too on june 9th i cant wait :P
oh and i like the usopp -
I graduated high school last friday.
I was also valedictorian. But my school let everyone who has a 4.0 GPA be a valedictorian…so we had more than one (and we each did part of a speech).
I was kind of disappointed...because they used to let the valedictorian be the person with the highest four year cumulative average (which was me with a 99.98) but this year they just based it on GPA. It wasn't a big deal...because I didn't want to say a long speech (I only had to say a sentence) but I kind of wanted to be better recognized for my hard work...(not that the other valedictorians didn't work hard...but I've made myself sick studying many times...the other valedictorians were always a lot more laid back). I understand why the school wanted the other valedictorians to represent the school though (and not just me)...the others were more outgoing and involved in many activities.
It wasn't bad though. I hated how they took a lot of pictures though...and I'm still kind of sad that I won't see some of my friends again.
-
congrats! I graduated high school…last year, so now i've got three years to go until i graduate from college. And then (hopefully) I'm off to California to work in the movie or gaming industry!

**That's so lame, I'm sorry. X_x.;; I didn't really work hard at all, but I go to an idiot school, so there you go.

It worked out for the best I suppose though. I probably would have messed up if I had to give a long speech.
I kind of just went through graduation hoping I didn't mess up somehow…(since we had to do some kind of formation thing...and I didn't really understand it, so I just kind of followed the people in front of me).

Graduating in June!

I graduated on thursday…from Rutgers University! XD
It kinda peeved me. I worked my ass off and got a 4.0 in my last semester, only to miss getting Livingston's honors by .12 of a point, I didn't get recongnition for being on the Dean's list 5 semesters because I needed 6, and I didn't get honors for my major because the History department doesn't give them, even though in other departments my GPA would have given me honors or high honors. -.-* Oh well. I have my diploma, and I can still list my Dean's list semesters and major GPA on my resume. That's all that matters.
To everyone who graduated and who's going to be - congradulations, and good luck! For those of you going to college, it's a much bigger (and better) world! Best of luck to you all! ^_^
-
Whoa, Sweet. Congrats Ginny for graduating from University! Also congrats for anyone graduating from High School or college :)

Congrats to all of you, you lucky sonnovabitches. Im stuck untill June 15.
-
Congrats, people.
I attended my high school's graduation yesterday, but as a guest, seeing as I graduated last year. I got to watch my buddy (and crush, but don't tell anyone) give her Valedictorian speech. She didn't make any One Piece references, though.
-
Pssh, I sure did. My lame-ass speech:
"The greatest adventure is what lies ahead." That's what the minstrel in the animated version of The Hobbit tells us, and, well, I'm inclined to believe him. We've all had our share of exciting times in high school, but probably not any that could truly be considered grand adventures. After all, until this ceremony is over, we're just high school students, preparing to begin the rest of our lives. It honestly seems pretty funny that I'm supposed to be up here giving a speech about life, because what can I know that all of you don't know yourselves? I'm just starting this journey too.
Once we're out this door, it's time to begin. We all have so many options to choose from, so many opportunities in life. We have to take advantage of them. We have to stop holding ourselves back out of fear or laziness or whatever might be causing us to do so. We have to leave our cozy hobbit holes and head into the unknown, challenge ourselves so that we can someday reach our true potential, learning from our experiences every step of the way. To quote a hippie movie I've never seen, "The journey's the destination, man."
I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me get this far. You've all been great, and now it's my turn to go out and do my own thing, whether that turns out to be going to law school, drawing a world map, or sailing the Grand Line and becoming the pirate king. We're free to choose our own paths now as we embark on our great adventure. "The mold of your life is in your hands to break."
Whoo! At the end of my speech we all flashed the X's. XD Our journalism teacher had one too. My friend on the left there had to draw it on his hand because he was wearing a long sleeve shirt. There's supposedly a clearer picture of this somewhere, but I haven't seen it yet.
-
Geez fin fish thats so awesome XD. Man everyone gets out of school so early, i've still got 11 days until graduation.
-
Thanks. XD School started for us on August 3 or something, though, so that's why we get out early. When did yours start?
-
We started in September. End of August I start college X_X
-
Wow. I thought this topic was dead. I already deleted my Graduation Usopp picture. :(
Oh well, congradulations to everyone else who graduated recently! :)
-
xD Fin Fish that's so cool~! What a crazy awsome speech.
