No I haven't cried
Who has ever cried either watching or reading one piece
-
No I haven't cried
-
I cried during Chopper's past, Robin's past, Nami's past and Brook's past. Also, I cried tears of win during the beatndown of Blueno, Crocodile and Lucci >.>
-
i had watery eyes when nami start stabbing herself, and when luffy yelled out "you are my nakama!"
but thats as far as it goes
-
Watching Nami's past made me cry a lot, and her stabbing herself. That's all I can remember though at the moment.
-
Looked up Merry's Funeral on YouTube out of general curiosity, and almost lost it.
Waits for Carter or Cyringohn to come on here and call me a pussy for nearly crying at a cartoon
-
I plead guilty of shedding tears at many things, most likely when I thought Kaku had his leg ripped off. (Well, I actually felt bad for laqughing…..Shut up, I let out a giggle when Paulie was betrayed. I'm a bitch, I know.) But my eyes watered at other things. Chuchu's house burning, Nami's past...blah blah blah.
-
Choppers past, every freakin time, when Pell sacrifices himself, and when Nami breaks down and asks Luffy for help, and Merry's Viking Funeral. A Real Man Cries, Dammit!
-
I haven't cried, but some parts we're extremely sad, I think Chopper's and Robin's past in the anime we're extremely sad! I think Brooke's past may be next for us, lol!
-
WHOOOOOOOO~! me~!
too many times to count.
merry showing up, merry dieing, i wanna live, choppers flashback, the list most certainly goes on.
-
I get teary eyed when I watch the Merry's funeral.
When Luffy apologises…..the shouts "Merry!!!", with the close up faces of the fatigued crew, and the slow original theme tinkling along....
didn't think it'd be so bad, cos it's just a ship, but anyone who thinks they're man enough to resist utmost sadness has no soul.
-
Almost everything you have said + Ussop trying to get the money that Franky Family stole, Ussop vs Luffy :/

word up and same here on every part of that post
-
^^Yeah, that stuff was pretty sad, but still never…never...
! :cwy::cwy::cwy:CRIED
-
as somebody already said,i only had "watery" eyes ^^ (i think when they burnt down Merry)
-
I've never cried from One Piece, but I've gotten very upset or tearfully (without tears) happy over certain scenes. I've gotten VERY CLOSE, but no tears. When Usopp left, that was the closest.
However, I burst into tears watching Rozen Maiden once.
! Hina Ichigo's "death". This had me crying and talking to myself saying, "Poor Hina".
If any of the Strawhats died, I think I would.
-
Okay I lied I have cried at….
nami's past
choppers past (oh god that's the saddest story)
and Franky's robin's and brook's past
merry's funeral
luffy vs usopp
usopp's fight with franky
and at chuchu's house burning downso i guess I lied a lot..... but now I know even men can shed tears sometimes
-
Even tho it was like a year after I read it in the manga, even tho I knew exactly what the anime does during it, I almost lost it during Merry's funeral. "Dear Friends" kicking on (which I knew for a while happens, and before the anime even got there I was among the people who expected it) just made me tear up.
Pretty sure I've teared up in other parts too, but can't remember. I've never down right cried tho.
-
I teared up a little at Luffy's past
I cried at Zoro's past
I totally lost it while watching Nami's past.
Usopp's past kinda gets to me cuz it's very familiar to my own life in a way
Sanji's doesn't faze me at ALL
Chopper's past kinda got to me
Robin's past made me cry like crazy
Franky's past made me a bit watery
and Brook's past didn't affect me much, but I know when I watch it in the Anime I'll bawl my eyes outThere've probably been some other parts, but I can't remember them off the top of my head :P
-
I'm a bit oversensitive, so… yeah, I cried a few times while reading OP.
The three times I actually cried were:
-The end of the Luffy vs Usopp fight (seriously, I hadn't seen it coming. Two friends fighting each other? One being already injured and doing this for a ship that cannot be saved? Especially since Luffy and Usopp are really close, always goofing around together...)
-Merry's viking funeral (it's a boat dammit, why am I crying?! And yet this part was so touching, especially after that amazing escape from Enies Lobby)
-Brook's flashback (at the beginning it was pretty funny, then it turned to the worst. Chapter 487 was already touching, when Yorki and the others try to cross Calm belt, or when Brook puts the skulls of his fallen comrades inside a coffin... but 488... oh man. Not only we can feel the loneliness Brook endured for so long (also that part where he thinks he's dreaming is cruel... in the way it made me laugh... until we see the empty ship... I felt guilty for finding it funny just before), but the very end... I cried more and more each time one of the Rumbars fell... then, the "Solo..." killed me. Oda... you... you evil genius. I love you. MORE.)
Chopper or Robin's flashback didn't affect me much, but I didn't see that part in the anime (I heard it's heart-wretching). None of the others' past really touched me... I don't know why, as I said I tend to cry too much.
Now I want to see Brook's flashback animated, see if I cry as much as I did while reading the manga. (as long as they don't put filler in it XD) -
I came dangerously close to shedding manly tears during the Merry's funeral in the anime. I guess it was the music and the flashbacks that got me. Or maybe I was choked up because the artwork for that episode was the most beautiful stuff I've seen on a weekly animated show, ever.
-
this thing tells me i already voted which i dont think is right…
anyway, i think i cryed when they sank merry..
if i didnt cry i almost did...
-
i think i was close in the filler-scene when "Ghost"-Bellemere pushed Nami out of the house. and at "Bink's Sake" i will cry. i just know it.
-
There are a lot of scenes who made me cry at least a little but the two scenes which made me cry the most were :
-
Robin's past: it really was horrible! As a child, she had no friend and her uncle and aunt didn't care about her. Then, the whole Buster Call event with the loss of her friend Saul and of her mother she had just met, then 20 years of pain and sadness while running away from the governement and not having any real nakama… before meeting the SH crew at 28! But at least, now she's happy. =)
-
Merry's funeral: well, I don't get it. At the beginning, it was just a ship for me and it was no big deal IMO to replace it with another ship I guess that it was when Merry came to save the SH at Ennies Lobby that I realized Merry was also one of their nakama. And the flashback in the anime really upset me when I saw it (more than in the manga^^), maybe it was because of the music but also seeing all the SH being sad as they were remembering all the good moments they had with Merry.
But all the other flashback were sad and not only the flashback but also, for example, when Nami was desperate and stabbed herself in the shoulder.
Ah and I also cried when Usopp came back in the crew but it was tears of happiness! =P
-
-
Sanji's past…Redleg ATE HIS FOOT.
It also made me cringe, but also cry, twas gory. -
Never cried. I've been pretty sad, but mostly when really sad stuff happens i just get pissed and want to be luffy for about an hour to make whatever bastard did it pay. The closest i've come.
Ussop trying to get the money back from franky family.
Brooks pastOne time i actually did cry a bit at an amv on youtube. (This is it)
But the music really enhanced the sadness so i dont think that counts does it? -
din really cried when reading the manga..
i had watery eyes over these scenes:
- SH crew went to EL to save their nakama [robin]
- Peace btw Shandians and angels @ skypiea =) [the golden bell]
- Death of merry
- Ussop joins SH crew again!
- backgrounds of SH crew
- Laboon
-
Luffy=I didnt cry at Luffy past..nothing to cry about in my opinion, and the 'LET THEM HERE THE BELL!!!!" line from Luffy, Great, just Great
Zoro= maybe a little
Nami= The most memorable cry I've had at a show, more than Haku, and Naruto/Gaara's past
Usopp=ehh..see it all the time, and his whole struggle in Water Seven
Sanji= I had respect, not tears
Vivi= When her crazy screams started, and a little when Pell "DIED" He should have..
Chopper=Definately
Robin= DEFINATELY, at all her situtations in the Enies Lobby arc, past and future
Franky=Nope, not even one, although I felt like it..sorta
Brook=NO, just sad..
Other=Luffy vs Usopp
Merry's death! -
When Merry died and Luffy and Usopp fought, manly tears were shed.
-
I dont know if this has been posted or not, but on What Japan Thinks, One Piece was chosen as the saddest manga by both males and females. Second came Slam Dunk..Both are pretty sad
-
I cried when the shop of that dog from the introduction arc burned… and at Choppers past a far as I can remember.
-
Yeah, I totally cried like a pansy many times. I was super weepy at Robin's past though.
-
Merry's death. Almost when Luffy and Usopp right. Only in the anime though, manga didn't do that to me.
-
i cried at
namis past
usopps past
choppers past
robins past
"i wanna live"
merry -
yes
Anime:
Merrys Death! the split up coming soon
Manga
Same scene! the strawhat split up
and Luffys near death situation in ch.538 -
Oh hell yes, I've cried many manly tears of manliness when watching mighty One Piece.
Kuina, Bellemere, etc.
And of course emotional happy moments, like Usopp and Luffy making up, goddamn that's some manly stuff. :cwy:
-
anime:merry's death oh man….
-
Having rewatched the best scenes of the series, I now admit:
-Chopper crying over the 'sakura tree'. I cried tears of wonder.
-When young Robin and Olivia held hands. "I've always wanted to do this." That really got to me.
