I'm really not seeing it. Would you mind going into more detail? It's just that this is the first time I've heard about something like this.
EPISODE 148
4:20 - Zoro - "The actual house is only half that size. What you see is a facade, a fake."
The way he's talking makes him sound like a teacher on a field trip and he is again speaking too quickly. No mouth flaps to hold anything back again. Vocab is a problem too. There are many more in-character words for Zoro to use than "facade". "Sham", "Phony", "Mock-up", or simply "Fake" all work.
EPISODE 151
8:30 - Zoro - "That's what you think? You don't get it, they didn't beat us. Refusing to fight doesn't mean we were afraid. When there's no reason to fight the only way to win is to stand down."
Now he sounds more like a high school guidance councilor than a warrior.
EPISODE 152
19:45 - Zoro - "I know, but what can we do? We don't have a whole lot of options when it comes to mother nature. We're at her mercy."
Zoro, again, sounds like a teacher on a field trip.
If it's about word usage, I wasn't aware "facade" was that big of a word. I don't recall Zoro being an idiot. That's Luffy's job. (I mean he is bad with directions, but other than that I'd say he has SOME intelligence under his belt)
He's not an idiot, but he is a simple guy. He doesn't use ten words when three will work.
