Can't help but wonder how someone discovered that.

@Tommy:
And that was an E-rated video game.
Poorly pixelated skeletons scattered on the floor really shouldn't warrant anything more.
Needless to say, that place scared the piss out of me too when I was a runt.
In Salamander 2, you encounter the Brain Golem from the first game at the end of stage 1. Then suddenly, a big blue monster comes from behind it and EATS IT. Blood spews everywhere.
@ solar: random stupidity? it has to be something that was actually programed in somehow, so maybe the programsers leaked the secret out somehow.

On the topic of Ocarina of Time, The Bottom Of The Well scared me still scares me to this day.
SMB :the lost levels in SM all stars for SNES:
Freaked me out when the purple mushrooms instantly took a life from Mario

Well yeah, it was most likely leaked out. But just imagine if it wasn't. You don't accidentally hit those blocks and jump backwards. :silly:
Which this reminds me of a glitch I accidentally found in Super Mario Sunshine. I somehow managed to slide down one of the tall mushrooms in Pianta Village and ended up being able to walk on the bottomless pit.
In the first Kingdom hearts, I went against Sephiroth. He used that one kill move on me. I was like WTF! HOW DID I DIE? I hada full health bar too….
Just today, when I was playing Advance Wars: Dual Strike. It was a 3 armies vs Black Hole mission (Mission 22), and Koal and Kindle were somehow able to do the Tag CO power on me at least every 4 turns. It pissed me off alright, and nearly wiped out the green army. There was only one infantry left on the green army, and with a miracle in hand I beat the mission on the next turn.
So you got pass Mission 19 huh.
Yeah. A 3 hour car ride convinces you to play lengthy strategy cames.
The 4th level of Renegade.
Me & The computer spamming Home Run shots in Baseball Stars 2 awhile back.
The IDS Agent freaking out in Chapter 24 of AW Days Of Ruin.
The jack in the box boss on DK64, i was like 7 or 8. It wasnt scary just wierd, man i wish i could play this game like 8 years later…i traded it in years ago

Killer7's First Level
At one point you run into a girl who's entire back half is missing.
Star Ocean 3 , where the 4d world was first explained. It didn't make any sense, and it still doesn't xD
Super Paper Mario, near the end of Chapter 2-4:
When you face the boss and she shows her true form. Her head makes sounds as if she snapped her neck (which she probably did!) as her eyes get anime-style big… and suddenly her head starts spinning around and around and around -- all the while making this clock-winding sound effect -- before her face becomes like ooze and transforms into this ugly spider thing.
Holy crap.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and everytime she pops up as she you chases in the rooms, she screams "MIMIMIMIMIMIMI!!!" in huge letters. Wonder how that would have sounded if she had a voice actor...
I forgot the name of the game. But it was a shooter where you shot terriorists for Ps2. At the end you had to Karate fight Osama Bin Laden. And during the credits a robot was rapping about terrorism.
"Osama Bin Laden, where you been hadin?!"
Fugitive Hunter.
Thank you god for giving me that information.
Buying it, ASAP.
Monkey Island 3. In the first act, when you steal the guy's "Map Tattoo". shutters
Oh, and I guess Monkey Island 2's skeleton dance really had me weirded out.
@Tommy:
The Bottom Of The Well
scared mestill scares me to this day.
Oh yeah, that freaked the hell outta me too, and also the Redeads that stop you when trying to escape gannondorfs castle!
Majora's mask- the cutscene of the moon hitting the planet.
No More Hero's and Dead Rising- The toilet being save points.
Devil May Cry- the "fill your dark soul with light" cutscene.
Eternal Darkness - Bathtub Scene (Loved this game though)
Bioshock - The dead family apartment room (screwed with my head, good game too).
Resident Evil: Code Veronica - Alfred likes to dress like his sister. (Alexia will always be my favorite Resident Evil villian though).
New one, again Super Paper Mario:
The dating-sims scene. lol, wtf?
Devil May Cry 3 - The opening of the second mission, in which Dante flails his trench coat about like an idiot, before finally slipping it on and catching his sword (which he tossed into the air before the furious flailing of the coat).
And then sneezing…which causes his wrecked building to collapse.
"I hope you all have enough to cover all of this!"
Fuckin' lol.
Wait, here you go:
Conker- The Great Mighty Poo boss fight.
Psychonauts- basically every level, but then again all of Tim Scaefer's games are awesome WTF filled goodness(or so I hear, I've really only played Psychonauts).
Pretty much any boss fight in Contra: Shattered Solider. Especially that fish boss, tricky bugger.
they're sure pretty much scenes in games that WTFed me. and i read some of them here (like the piano in Mario 64.)
atm the only one i could think of is Lylatwars (N64)
Venom. when you get to Andross' room and his face is jumping out of the shadow laughing "Muehehehehe Muhe!"
was pretty young back then. pressed ,pause' immediately and ran away screaming.
EDIT:// thx MT-headed. I. AM. THE GREAT MIGHTY POO.
(was a different WTF moment)
Golgo 13's Top Secret Mission.
Jumping the entire height of the screen, kicks that do more damage than bullets, smoking to regenerate health, and the blow job scene at the end. All in glorious 8-bit NES graphics.
Megaman breaking the 4th wall in Megaman Legends.
For me, it would have to be the Original Star Fox level where you apparently go to some alternate dimension. Never played it but I saw it on youtube. Were the developers on acid or something?
Speaking of Megaman Legends, how about Megaman walking into Roll while she was taking a shower. After that, he steps out of the bathroom and cheers for what he saw.
As bad as the Legends game was, it had good and fun moments.
The final boss of that game was insane. I dropped it, and didn't pick it up for about three years. Picked it back up, and beat the bitch with no problem.
Eternal Darkness - Bathtub Scene (Loved this game though)
I was shocked when I saw that part. By the way I am currently playing Eternal Darkness. Already finished Chapter 4. (Karim's chapter)
Other moments:
Most of the sanity stuff in Eternal Darkness like for example the TV pretending to turn off, saying To Be Continued and then saying there will be a sequel, controller not working, etc.
Resident Evil 4, chainsaw guy coming behind you and killing you. (happened to me in the beginning of the game)
Mario Kart DS, R.O.B. being a playable character
As bad as the Legends game was, it had good and fun moments.
Despite a few kinks Legends wasn't that bad.
Speaking of Megaman, I went 'What the…' when I saw Serpent's final form in ZX. It was the Devil Gundam, no joke.
That, and people throwing out damns, craps, and Gods in the E-rated Battle Network 2.
^ Oh yeah, I remember that. During the ShadowMan episode right?
Whenever I get Knocked down in Contender with one punch from the computer which usually results in a KO.
^ Oh yeah, I remember that. During the ShadowMan episode right?
Not only there, but during Knightman's scenario. I remember Magnetman's last words were 'God bless Gospel!', and Gauss exclaimed 'God damn it to Hell!' immediately afterwards. And finally, the first word out of Sean's mouth was 'Crap!' I found all of that to be pretty funny, considering the type of game it was.
America becoming more lax on what goes on in an E-rated game?
Too busy cracking down on AO or potentially AO rated titles.
@Sandai:
Megaman breaking the 4th wall in Megaman Legends.
He did? I only got as far as the Trons elder brother.

There was tons of death too. Didn't some dude get burned? Another got his/her foot caught in some kind of bear trap or something. But yeah almost everyone in the Knightman episode died…
He did?
When you go to the Toy Store in Apple Market and examine the shelves Megaman makes mention of how they have Megaman Legends on Sale at
the store.
So he's looking at the game he's currently in in a store in the game which is selling the game h– My brain broked.
Pretty much the gist of it, minus the Ouroboros concept.
Sorry for the bump but…
PXwWjxbzuIk
How hasn't this been mentioned yet?
Well, I did say on the first page that Killer 7 is basically one gigantic mindfuck. But yeah, Curtis' death was pretty satisfying afterwards.
dq5's "puff puff" is still awesome to me…
@Earthworm:

Very strange you should bring that up. I just past that part of the game not too long ago.
Super smash bros
The final boss being a giant hand
Devil may cry
The hands that reach out of the wall and grab you in LVL 1
Legend of zelda 64
NEVER KNOWING WTF TO DO
Dragonball Z tenkiachi 2
-Bojack teleporting from mid air after i hit him to infront of my face with a right hook
Jump ultimate stars
-Getting hit while having invincibility star
-That policemans Toy helicopter plowing through 6 koma Yusuke's spirit Gun
Although not completely ingame.
At persona 3 when i beat after a extremely long boss battle (the roulette thing), jinpei said "are you shittin' me" and the f-ing power went out. Of course without me getting time to save xD
Guitar Hero 3 - Expert - Raining Blood.
wtf.
