Probably when they do a general promo again.
where is the "When pigs fly" option?
I forgot that one i told u, brain dead
I don't really care. I wouldn't even mind too much if they never promote One Piece, though it is a little unlikely…
With the ratings increase, it should be headed to the top of the charts before too long. It took some time for Naruto to get overly popular, so I say mid-spring. But since there is no option for mid spring I'll just round off to late spring. I hate math. XD

Not really, "Naruto" was a hit from the moment it first aired on Cartoon Network and it just grew from there. It's popularity kept feeding into itself.
I'm sure we'll see some more "One Piece" promotion in 2008 from FUNimation and Toei Animation, but I don't know if we'll see anything significant from Cartoon Network, only if they air any "One Piece" outside the usual premieres on Toonami. We don't know exactly how much the ratings have gone up, only that since this September the ratings have slowly but steadily risen. I'm not holding any expectations for it in terms of its popularity, I'm takign a neutral position.
We'll definitely see something before they air the movie.
I don't see Toonami surviving into the next year.
I think once Toonami airs movie 8, we'll see new promos for One Piece.
Toonami also needs to get new bumps for both Naruto and One Piece. Their Naruto bumps are still on the Chuunin Exams while One Piece is still in Alabasta.

I fear you are right, my friend.
As far as promoting One Piece goes, I haven't seen them advertise ANY Toonami programming on the regular CN since Miguzi died off. Not even Naruto, which really surprises me. I see one of two possible outcomes:
1. Toonami moves back to weekday afternoons and OP goes with it.
2. Toonami dies and OP moves to Adult Swim.
Either way, it's better than what we have now. OP really needs a better time slot.
Going to Adult Swim isn't it, though.
Here's the more logical outcome (if Toonami is to die)… Naruto and One Piece stay where they are. There just won't be any Toonami bumps or anything.
Toonami stills exists?
I think the last time I saw a proper toonami slot was when they still had Tom. After that, they just stopped it and went straight to showing the shows without more TOONAMI INTROS.
Toonami right now has fallen into the slump it did with Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z on weekdays. Airing nothing but those two shows.
They got rid of Bobobo once it finished airing and opted for two Naruto episodes, one One Piece and one Dragon Ball Z.
Until Toonami can get more shows, I don't see much changing.

I like the way you think :)
Well Viz did get the license to Eeishield 29….....( Thank thats how you spell it. )
maybe in when movie 8 comes out.
…
Who ever said Movie 8 is coming out on TV?
^^ A while ago I said that ES 21 should be on Toonami, but tio much people was against it. And seeing that the people didn't like it anyhow, I think its better if it just stay on Jetstream. I wanted D gray Man on it but its better if thats on AS.
I wonder what other new series could come on? How about Fairy Tale (that is if they even made anamie for it), or maybe that other new fantasy comedy, forgot the name. Too bad Gintama doesn't have a chance at being in CN

I keep hoping they'll bring Powerpuff Girls Z over here and put it on Toonami. That would be a great addition. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening.

At this point, it's too late. The Powerpuff Girls hype is long done.

sigh Too true.
But still, it would be nice if it at least got a chance.
And in all honesty, I never really saw much of an appeal to the anime. The only thing that grabbed my attention was that Ryusei Nakao was voicing Him. :( Freeza as Him? Ohhhh man.

No, you dumb lobster, Pokemaster meant that Toonami will start promoting OP if Movie8 does well with the DVDs sales.

And yeah, The anime is not that great; however, it's funny to find little mistakes (perhaps intended) like Kiwi/Mizu being topless in the scene of Franky and the entire FF in front of the Franky House or the one with Sanji looking like a tard without his left eye being covered by his hair.

Wait…
Wh-what?
Excuse me, but what are you talking about dude?
Check the credit page of the Franky House Scanlations. I dunno if it's actually a page of the manga or a fixed version of an Anime screen capture (I think the anime messed up the color scheme of the franky house), so either a dude from Toei's staff tought that it would be funny if he did such a thing as not drawing her bikini top or Oda did it in purpose out of boredom.
Movie 8 is going to air on Toonami. That's why they recorded an edited version.

Source or didn't happen.
FUNi's movies were once recorded as edited/unedited for DBZ until they decided to scrap the edited versions. Since then, not a single edited movie has been done by FUNi. When DBZ Movie 12 aired on CN, the edits were made long after the uncut versions were made and released on DVD.
Mike mentioned at a convention not too long ago that they made an edited version of Movie 8, so I wouldn't put it past them that they're at least trying to get it on Cartoon Network. I'd be very surprised if it didn't eventually air there.
I didn't read everyone elses' posts, but am I the only one that believes we might see some One Piece promos when the Skypiea arc is at it's climax and when Naruto enters filler-mode?

I remember that. I almost shit myself when the promo said "hell has broken loose."
When they think they may get money out of it
When will OP movie 8 air? or is it just a lie?
They haven't said yet.
It's illogical for One Piece to be put on adult swim, and I wish people would stop wanting it there. One Piece isn't adult swim material…then again Inuyasha really isn't either. But I really don't see adult swim even trying to get it cause they'd have the series forever due to it still being on-going.
I don't think AS is interested in a long ass on-going series.

Bleach.
Unless you mean not interested in ANOTHER long ass on-going series…
"One Piece" is 9-14 year-old material, "Bleach" is 12-17 year-old material. they're both perfect where they are now.
Oh, I know (though I really wouldn't call Bleach 12-17 material… I don't see how it's any different from Naruto or One Piece).
I'm just saying Adult Swim doesn't really have a problem showing shows with a lot of episodes.
