He's probably one of the most untainted & brutally honest reviewers in the business, probably why he doesn't have a job anymore.
A lot of people consider this a major loss.
If it was his job, and they paid him, in DOLLARS, then he was on the dick and got off when he shouldn't have.
I don't follow. His job was to objectively review games, call them as he sees it, and I'm fairly certain there was no clause in his contract stating that he must shill for whatever company's game CNET has been given a sack of money to promote that month.
Whether you liked him or not, his termination was total bullshit, and it's completely indefensible as it stands right now.
