@onemoment:
Wow Cyringohn, you're a lost cause. You just responsed to my post not with good reasoning, but with FLAME and RAGE.
YES, FEEL THE RAGE. ITS LOUD ROAR TELLS GOHN TO GRASP VICTORY.
@onemoment:
First off, you should see why comparing these ninja to actual soldiers is retarded. Sakura gets up every morning, does her hair, and says goodbye to mom before going on a mission. Soldiers don't get that luxury.
That has absolutely nothing to do with what a soldier does on duty. Wow.
That, and soldiers don't wake up? Brush their hair? And they'd sure as fuck say goodbye to their mom if they were stationed at home. I AM A GRUFF SOLDIER I NEVER BATHE OR BRUSH MY TEETH OR HUG MY MOM THAT'S FOR PINK-HAIRED NINJA GIRLS
@onemoment:
Second, look at Sakura. Look at Ibiki. Sakura cries after seeing Naruto and Sasuke fight. Ibiki has holes drilled into his head. She is clearly not the same level of ninja, which is where I base my "they only call the genin real ninja" statement.
It's still a life-or-death job. You put your life on the line, and they're still going to treat you like a baby? No. Look at the Chunin Exams. It's serious business. People come from all over to watch Sasuke fight because they know how "talented" he is. It's not like the audience sits there and goes "AWWW WOOKIT WIDDLE NEJI HE'S SO CUTE THINKING HE'S A NINJA" when Neji could kill pretty much anybody there.
@onemoment:
Kids like Naruto and Sakura are supposed to be sent on low risk missions like cleaning yards and catching stray animals before they're sent into any life risking missions, as we've seen before the chunnin exams. Those A-risk missions just happened by incident.
Dying comes with the job. What ranked mission you have doesn't matter when Orochimaru busts up in your village and eats everybody. OH I CALL HOME BASE BECAUSE I WAS CLEANING CAT POOP FOR MY MISSION
@onemoment:
Where your argument falls apart is that, when comparing fantasy to real life, you have to pick and chose what applies and make it fit. You're not doing that. You're forcing it.
Didn't you just say that a real-world army and Naruto Fantasy Pixie Camp is nothing alike? Changing your mind already?
@onemoment:
If anything, the ANBU and jounin and the soldiers of the Naruto world. Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke are kids who are being trained to be soldiers.
Kids who can open five chakra gates and kill Zabusa. Yeah, they're totally soldiers in training.
@onemoment:
If anything they're supposed to learn to be soldier, they aren't supposed to immediately be there in less then a year, at every single second of their lives.
You can't just say what they're 'supposed' to do. This isn't your manga, it's Kishimoto's, and your habit of "filling in plot holes and theories" is the equivalent of, you know, making things up.
@onemoment:
Which is why I think a rational army wouldn't take the statement an emotional 13-year-old who is crying over the lose of her "boyfriend" too seriously.
That's her problem, not theirs. These 'kids' are quite capable of killing S-class criminals, but we should definitely excuse their temper tantrums because they're just widdle bitty baby ninja dawwwwwwwww.
@onemoment:
but to believe that she'd really go with Orochimaru is unrealistic.
Sasuke went. What's stopping Sakura? How are they supposed to guess who is being truthful about leaving, and who is just being all HEY GUYS APRIL FOOLS I WASNT REALLY JOINING OROCHIMARU THE LEAF VILLAGE'S MOST DANGEROUS FOE PRETTY FUNNY, RIGHT?
@onemoment:
Of course, these ninja aren't a really army if you look at their daily lives. Soldiers don't have a comfortable town to hang out in.
They do if they're, you know, at home.
Ninja who are away from the Leaf Village are the same as soldiers out of town, and ninja who are at the Leaf Village are the same as soldiers who are back in town.
Jeeze, you don't even think about this stuff before you type it. ]:
