I've been watching couple episodes subbed by Vegapunk but it has been lagging on my computer. I've been dling the HD encoded eps. There are scenes where the subtitles are about 5 seconds behind the actual dialog. That's not very normal, right? Do you guys think there's something wrong wif my comp, because it seems you guys watch the episodes fine.

It's most likely because your computer is not able to handle the HD. HD playback with subs, especially karaoke and attack effects, takes a lot of resources. The easiest solution would be to try watching the SD releases. Although they are lower resolution than the HD, they are still good quality (well except for the first few - we were still trying to figure out the best settings back then ), and there shouldn't be any lag. If you really want to watch the HD, you may need to upgrade your PC - I would suggest starting with the graphics card. Others may be able to offer other suggestions.

i did experience the same thing on my desktop comp but have no problem with my laptop. i think its about the graphic card that cant support the HD file. well, u can always watch it using SD version. hope this helps.

I don't know if you already using it, but if not you should try using CoreAVC. It's afaik the fastest decoder for x264 (the codec used in the Vegapunk HD releases). My computer couldn't handle HD with the normal x264-codec used in ffdshow, it only works with CoreAVC. Perhaps you could post your computer hardware info? That would help to find out if it's your computer which is too slow.

my comp sucks.
Shit grafix card, shit speed.
I guess I'll try the coreavc. If that doesn't work, I'll just dl the SDs.
Thanks alot.
"EDIT" Cool, the coreAVC works. Thx, -Luffy-.
"EDIT of EDIT" Still lagging a bit. Gonna switch to SDs.
