I just though it would be interesting to know who would win in this fight cause it will never happen i think zoro will kick sanji's ass since hes a swordman and sanji uses hes legs second-zoro always trains so i think its only resonable that zoro wins the fight so lets see what u people think

**sorry for the wrong writing i corrected it and tell us why do u think zoro will win if u dont mind
-
It's quite simple, Sanji can't can dodge Zoro's attack, only evade them, but Zoro as 3 swords so I think it's quite hard to evade them all. And if Sanji tries to kick Zoro, then Zoro can just cut of Sanjis leg.
-
hmm yeah he could maybe stop one with his legs (like clamp down on each side with his feet) but that still leaves the other two swords..
-
Zoro could beat him without his swords. He's just so much stronger.
-
Zoro would win. I think they made that clear in Movie 5.

I wouldn't say that. When Sanji was fighting Zorro he wasn't being serious, which is why (if I'm not mistaken) Zorro said something fighting not with with your full heart & being distracted. On the other hand, Zorro was being serious in winning (though not to the point of killing Sanji) wince it's for the sake of his friend who he owed his life to.
In my opinion, if they both fight then I would say it's a draw. From our logical perspective sword will win against kick but let's not forget that Sani's teacher is the lgendary Red Foot Zef.

I think it'd be a really close fight. Logically, Zoro would beat Luffy too, but there's a lot more to Luffy than one might think…

I don't think so at all. With Zoro without his swords, he's so much weaker. Luffy always fights with himself, not some tool. The only reason Zoro could beat Luffy is because he can cut him. And I'm still not sure if Zoro would win, because Luffy would come up with a good plan. Luffy and Sanji could easily beat him.
Why is the smily in the topic angry?

but i don't think so that luffy would get beaten by zoro lol ;) ,cause you watched the anime ?of that, luffy went to the first island of Baroque work's ,and those people were acting like villagers, but they're baroque work's Million ,and Mr 8,Miss monday and Mr 9 ,and Miss Wednesday/Vivi are there .. and then while zoro were going to fight with Mr.5 and Miss valentine ..and Luffy came out ,because if Luffy stupid minder misunderstanding's of zoro ..and Zoro and Luffy fights lol ..and they're draw ..we can see it clear ,Zoro and Luffy strength are same ..and Luffy's crazy hearted and madness ..zoro's skill, crazy hearted ..and that gives them a draw .. lol do i make sense

Ahh, that is the ultimate glitch in the Zoro vs. Sanji fight. Sanji doesn't rely on weapons, his legs ARE his weapons. Zoro, however, can't do much without his swords. So if Sanji is able to disarm him then Zoro is at a SERIOUS disadvantage.
You also have to take into consideration the stamina of the two. Sure, Zoro bleeds more than most One Piece characters put together, but would he survive the internal damage/broken bones caused by Sanji's kicks? Would Sanji overcome the blood loss caused by Zoro's swords?
Such a hard fight to figure out . . . . I wouldn't be surprised if Oda inserts a serious Zoro vs. Sanji fight at the end of the series.
-
Well, seing Zoro manged to live after having a building over him..(Zoro V.S Mr. 1) he could live through organ damage…but the fight would still pretty much be a draw....

Zoro will NEVER defeat Luffy…. and as for Sanji and Zoro... I think the match will be a tie....
-
Ohhh…we'll see about that in ep 223....
-
Please dont turn this into another character bashing thread.
I think they will all end up in a tie.
-
But…but...I was just saying that Luffy's gonna fight Zoro again in the next ep.....

It's clearly stated, with official statistics and the lot, that both Luffy and Zoro's strength is one step above Sanji's. Right in the Grand Red Characters Data File.

Yeah sure, maybe it's just as simple as that…But I'll think that it depends on the situation. Since these two, though often arguing, will not get into a serious fight without a really good reason. For example, in the fifth movie, Sanji obviously didn't have a reason to fight Zoro-thus lost in a few seconds. But, if the whole scene turns into Sanji protecting a certain girl from Zoro's clutches (Don't ask, I can't think of a better one!! Maybe Zoro wants to take revenge on Robin and Sanji stops him? Starts brainstorming...) As a yaoi fan girl, I'll also add that they'll probably draw when it comes to a fight over Luffy...Gets kicked away And in a fight to determine who's actually stronger...Well, Luffy'll come to stop them anyway, so it shan't matter.
(And I look up to see a bunch of nonsense. Oh well.)
-
With these blank vs blank fights, it's always a toss-up depending on a lot of factors, not just who's stronger. That is a big factor, but it's not the only one. Sanji vs Zoro could frankly go either way depending on each of their mindsets, the circumstances, the setting, so many things. If it were perfectly matched in terms of mindset, motivation, terrain and all other determining factors other than just raw, brute strength, Sanji would probably lose. It'd take him a while to go down, and he'd go swinging, but I do think Zoro's stronger than he is. But in reality, so few things come down to simply who's physically stronger than who, there are many other things to factor in. Could Zoro just cut off one of Sanji's legs? Sure. Would Sanji be smart enough to know that? I'd certainly like to think so. Sanji's a pretty damn good strategist when the chips are down and he'd know that no matter how strong his legs are, Zoro's swords are going to go through them like butter. Unless he was so enraged at Zoro that he simply wasn't thinking, in an actual fight between the two, it'd be tough to tell.
This is the exact same reason I don't get into the Superman vs Batman debates, either.

**Superman vs Batman is much more obvious than Zoro vs Sanji, imho. But I've seen people seriously debating Superman vs Goku, citing every tactics possible including Goku blowing up the sun  (GaiaOnline is interesting in a stupid and timewasting way.)
But.. if there's a Zoro vs Sanji fight, I'd cheer for Sanji but my bets are on Zoro.
Anyone in for a Zoro vs Sanji mudwrestling? XD
-
The winner is Nami. Definitely.
-
I wanna Sanji to win, but zoro is too strong. it will be a tie:D But zoro has three sword… it will be problem
-
for all of you who said that zoro is nothing without his swords have you read the foxie arc? with a battle between the two i agree with bevin zoro would win if you are just going pure strength but depending on the circumstances it could go either way.
-
Yeah, it'd go to Nami. :P
But like bevin said, it all depends. They're pretty familiar with each other's capabilities, so strategy is the main factor.
Attack to attack, it would go to Zoro, since he doesn't even have to make contact to do damage.
But fist to foot, Sanji's specialty, it'd definetely go to the love cook. Yeah, Zoro can lift large building chunks, but what matters most in a fair fight is skill. Not that Sanji's even physically weaker; he handled that hammer in Skypiea like it was nothing.
-
I think it's a bit unfair that Zoro has swords that could easily kill people. If Zoro had no swords, then Sanji would kick his ass.
-
Sanji has an unknown power that appears whenever he gets pissed off. The momentum of his kicks are simply are ridiculous. Zoro is a monster though….he's Gutts' little brother for crying out loud!

Then Luffy should not have a Devil Fruit. Its not fair, YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO MAKE EXCUSESS

Nami own all the people in stawhat pirate people, except Robin…lol....later Zoro will be too strong, sanji can't climb over that hill to reach to Zoro later...but atm i still think zoro is stronger..but sanji is not weak too...sanji leg is very powerful....
-
If Zorro isn´t stronger already then he will definitely become stronger towards the end of the series. It is all a matter of comparing the dreams of the two characters. Sanji´s dream is to find a certain location (the All Blue) while Zorro aims for being the best swordsman in the world. Though both guys are pretty strong fighting has completely different meanings in context with their dreams. For Sanji fighting is a power that is actually helpful for fulfilling his dream while for Zorro fighting is a key part of his goal. That´s why I think Zorro would win. :D

Zoro for the win! :D

ZORO!!!!!! He can dodge Sanji's kicks and attack him before he can regroup to block, and even if he could, Zoro has 3 swords so 2 more attacks.
-
ZORO MUST WIN MUST!!! *cheers for Zoro * GO ZORO!
-
They're not actually fighting. We're discussing what would happen if they fought. crushes your dreams
-
whats your point?
and hi North -
well…. in a sword fight Zoro can't hit Sanji's Tibula or Fibula, because even a samurai sword can't go through those bones..... then again it IS Zoro we are talking about.... and Sanji...... and even if Zoro doesn't aim for Sanji's lower legs there's still a lot of leg to slice........... uhm...... i'd say Zoro would win.....

But Sanji can blind Zoro with style, and, of course, the technique….
(Scene: Zoro is placing hand against counter, Sanji is chopping veg)
Zoro: I'm ready to challenge you to a ....
Sanji: What? (looks, sees a nicely julienned Zoro little finger)

Too close to call.
If they fought several times the result would probably vary so I can't see a vast gap in skill between them.
Neither will give up 'til unconcious or dead (and I doubt they would kill each other)
Sanji is very fast and a few well placed kicks could disarm Zoro effectively.
To disarm Sanji Zoro would have to break his legs or cut them badly, no easy task.
Getting past Zoro blades would, of course, be extremely difficult and Sanji has little experience fighting swordmen of Zoro's calibre.
It's gonna be messy and bloody (mostly Zoro's) but they would come close to a draw.
It may be decided on motivation. Why they fight. Who has the drive to win in that situation?
I would be rooting for Sanji though 'cause he's the underdog. -

*SPOILER

*they did have a small fight in movie 5, Zoro ripped Sanji
-
Zoro did beat Sanji in movie five and even again in the filler arc, but i think that is Oda wrote it, it would actually be a draw, they both have their good days and while Zoro has proven over and over his ability, Sanji just hasn't had the opportunity, though i beleive they're equal in strength, let's not forget that Sanji's stamina and resiliance are higher, i.e. his managed to still fuck with Eneru when Zoro was a memory, it's just thus far in the story Sanji's main purpose has been far from the ship's very own "Swordsman" to use Luffy's description, Sanji's definately gotten alot stronger since joining the strawhats and the fact he often unveils new shit, should let you know that while it's not shown int he storyline, fighting and being strong is at the top of his mind.
-
What are you talking about? Sanji got "enlightened" by Enel long before Zoro so it is obvious why Sanji recovered before Zoro. Besides Zoro himself was able to cut the Giant Jack and that was after he was "enlightened" by Enel. So there´s no difference between Sanji and Zoro here.
Besides Zoro is a tick stronger then Sanji in terms of physical strenght. Zoro is always working out with ton-weights while Sanji does nothing. I´m not saying that this proves that Sanji is weak. But if he would have the exact same strenght level as Zoro then it would actually make Zoro appear veeerrryyy weak because he has to work out hard to stay at the same level as the cook who never seems to work out in the first place. I doubt that Oda wants to establish that with Zoro´s constant work outs so I think that he is just the one tick stronger then Sanji. But just by physical strenght.
-
While I generally don't agree with these strength comparison debates, I do honestly think that at one time Sanji might have been stronger than Zoro (circa Arlong Park, entry to Grandline) but since Zoro appears to have grown a lot he may have the upper hand. But really, if these two seriously got into a fight (which will never happen, unless Doflamingo is involved somehow– I seriously think this will happen in a future storyline B) ) it would be hard to pick a loser, since they're both incredibly strong-willed.
-
I think that Ivotas mentioned pretty much all the arguments that I was thinking about. Their goals kinda determine who's stronger and who'd eventually win a fight. Since Zoro's goal is to become a great fighter and Sanji's isn't, I'd have to say that Zoro would win.
