Well of course it's unpredictable. You're not going to predict what will happen next in a story that doesn't leave clues about certain events that will happen.
Don't congratulate Kishimoto just for all of the blue creating a new character. It's nothing to say "Wow! Kishimoto is unpredictable". Same situation for the autopsy. We haven't seen Naruto and co. for a couple chapters by now, in which last we saw them they haven't even returned home yet. There's not really a reason to say he's unpredictable for doing something to characters that just happened to return to the story.
It's like saying, "Wow! Insert mangaka here is unpredictable because the main characters are deciding to go to the movies!"
