Exactly what the title says, every straw hat has had atleast one major fight, and sooner or later Brooke is going to have to fight as well… which brings a question: How will he fight? What will his attacks be?

He will probably fight Moria. Who knows, Brooke might be a strong opponant.
I think he'll dispatch parts of his body and use them as a weapon.
I think Brook will use his violin to summon zombie animals like Dragons or Elephants

Isn't that a little too simular to Buggy? O_o

Lol… yeah, but Buggy has control of his body parts while detached.
But I'm just going by what I see in movies and stuff, where skeletons fight with their parts. But Oda is different... I'm sure he'll think of something unusual.
i am with HEATXZ on this one. If brooke is really going to be a SH, it's because he is a musician so i think he can fight with some sort of instrument hide in his afro or maybe by playing xylophone with his bones. i don't really know but i know oda and it's sure will be good
he will fight like jack from the Kingdom Heart games XD
brooke will be lightning quick
and will have some sort of musical attacks, like bards in ff xi
Break a bone, jab the broken end into opponent.
It'd be neat if he could… Like... Pop his bones off and reassemble himself in a different way, but I spose that's not really fighting.
Maybe he... Rudes them to death?
Well, here's with his speed in mind maybe Brooke will be the rare strategic fighter? I mean, he looks physically weak, so maybe he could use his speed to change the environment so that the opponent gets badly hurt.

Well, if they ever see the Buggy crew again, I want to see Brooke v. Alvida.
Mmh, I think that the strategy-part is more suited for nami and usopp who are physically weak enough to make it necessary. Brook however seemed rather strong or at least inhumanly fast during that scene when he ran over the water.
He surely does have a unique style of fighting (he's pretty unique to begin with) but I expect him to be one of the tougher fighters. After all he survived decades on the grandline. But then again it's just a guess.
I'm thinking some sort of stealthiness. Don't know why.
Maybe he'll turn out to be such a bad musician that the music he plays is deadly to those who hear. Or maybe his afro gives him power like when Luffy had one. Who knows.
I would like to see him using his skeleton as a weapon, like dissipating and reform before being hit, using his femur as a weapon, changing places between arms and legs for some funny attacks or throwing his ribs against the enemy like boomerangs! Think about him throwing his head to bit someone's butt! Hilariously fun!
This should be discussed here.

and Franky's Strong Right/Left? If he does then I'm starting to think Oda has lost his originality. I'm going with the musician idea seeing all the other straw hats have their own style.
Zoro- Swordsman uses swords
Nami- Navigator uses weather
Ussop- Sharpshooter uses projectiles
Sanji- Chef…..well he's an exception refusing to use his hands.:sideways:
Chopper-Doctor uses Medical steroid
Robin- Scholar type person uses hand devil fruit
Franky-Shipwright uses his skills as a shipwright as weapon
get my picture?

Not really, because:
Robin- Scholar type person uses hand devil fruit
What her power or fighting style has to do with scholarship?
Franky-Shipwright uses his skills as a shipwright as weapon
What making boats have to do with being a cyborg?
Brroke is a musician, but he is also an skeleton (and his power is being an skeleton). As such, it is not far-fetched to think that he fights using his power, not his skill. Maybe be combines the two of them.
hehehe, just imagined Brooke living his arms behind playing a guitar while he fights, so that he has background music for his fight….
His light body will have 99% to do with it.
Brook's power isn't "being a skeleton", it's "being revived once after death". The fact that he is a skeleton is just a coincident: His Devil Fruit is still working (ie reviving the User) even if the revived body isn't actually able to live. But apart from being a skeleton, he's just a normal human being. So if you cut off one of his arms, he would never be able to use it again. Same goes for his ribs, skull and all other bones.
Suggesting Brook should use his bones as weapons is like the suggestion of that one reader in SBS from chapter 58 who came up with the brilliant idea, Zoro could cut off Luffy's stretched arms which would fly off as projectiles.
At least, that's what I understood how Brook's DF works.
Brook's DF just lets you come back to life once after you've died. It lets you fight about as much as Mr. 2's DF or Apis's DF does.
@Impel:

Ignoring Apis, who is both filler and not a DF user, why can't Mr 2's DF be used to fight? Since Mr 2 used Okama Kempo which needed a carefully trained body, he could not do Okama Kampo in Nami's body, but what stops him from making his body like that of someone with extreme physical prowess to gain an edge in battle (we know he can mix and match body parts, so he could potentially make himself a powerful body).
I think brook's DF is the same way, while the ability is not that it makes his body extreamly light, it does let him live as only bones which itself makes his body light. IF brooke is a fighter, which I don't think he is, then I can easily see him becoming a hit and run style character with increadable jumps and off the wall (literally) moves.
Apis ate the **Hiso Hiso no mi (**whipser whipser fruit); she was a DF user.
The only thing I don't understand is how you could fight with such a light body. It's not going to make your punches very strong, is it?
Brook literally has no muscles. I dont see where any strength would come from.
Good points, good points… How do I think he will fight?
Well, Being that he seems psychically weak (forgive my bad spelling, I'm an idiot), he'd have to use some kind of weapon... I mean, Nami and Usopp aren't good when it comes fighting hand to hand, but they make up for it with smart thinking and useful items/weapons that often come in handy.
If anything, Brooke will use his speed in battle, but odds are only for purposes of dodging... Perhaps he'll use a weapon of some sort, maybe find some way to fight with his musical instrument...
OR...
Mayba there's more to his devil fruit than we think, certain things about his devil fruit he hasn't told us yet... Oda is full of surprises, so you never really know shrug
I thought of something since Brook is dead he can eat more Devil fruits
He still counts as a DF user. He'll explode.
Hmmmmm
Gentlemen Skeleton ??
Fisticuffs Anyone ?? Queensbury Rules Maybe
haa haa
Wait, what the hell would happen if he got cuffed in seastone?
Haven't we been through this? Oi.
Someone posted a good, thorough theory/explanation on how Brooke's DF allows his skeleton to function as though it were a complete body. This explanation is good in that it clears up the question of pooping, as well as how a skeleton can move or talk at all (no muscles = just dead bones). This expands to why he can punch with force (thankfully this allows for the fisticuffs dream I put out there on his introduction), as well as why using his bones as weapons wouldn't work.
He could be really fast too. I'm guessing a million light, super-fast punches that overwelm the opponent.
don't forget that he will (maybe) be the musician of the group so he must use some instrument to fight. Do you imagine when they will be on mermaid island, the fight between brooke and a singer mermaid. But i still think that his afro has something to do with his power, it has to
ITS A BEAM
Brooke was only the musician on a huge pirate boat, of which all the members were killed during a battle. I don't think he/was is that strong !
Like the old man (zombie :-)) who lost his shadow, his only goal is to get it back, maybe to finally… die in peace or something like that.
maybe he was not strong but don't forget that he travelled alone in the florian triangle for years so he must have gotten stronger finding a good way to fight
ITS A BEAM
XD Oh, good times… Luffy would die from happiness if Brooke shot a beam... And I would probably die from Luffy's reaction. Maybe he'll be like that one guy from the gung-Ho guns in Trigun... I can't remember his name, was it Midvalley? Eh, we can probably expect Oda-Sensei to do something weird with him though.
If Brook does use "a beam", we're gonna have Brook SHOOP DA WHOOPs for the next 34 years.
I hope Brook will fight with his instrument.
But what instrument is suitable to to Brook? I hope for an E-guitar xD or a chello. Maybe he is so fast, that he can surround the enemy all the time and making noise with his instrument…xD I dont know how his instrument is dangerous... Maybe he has some unfair tricks in it, a knife or a few guns.. But that would look to similiar to Ussops way of fighting...
I think his celerity is his way of fighting... He jumps towards his enemy with incredible celerity=> so he will punch very hard, maybe with some barbed bones xD

That still doesn't disqualify him from being a weaker SH. He can run fast after all, and come to think of it, a skeleton running for his life? Hilarious. Or not.
That and, he may have gained new abilities after becoming a skeleton, despite being weak while living. Of course, I'm still not sure if he'll join yet…
Brook literally has no muscles. I dont see where any strength would come from.
He's a skeleton. He shouldn't be able to move at all. Your skeletal frame holds up your body, but it's your muscle system, joints and all, that has your body moving.
Of course, naturally he wouldn't need to be nn….suuuuuuuuuuuper! strong, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he'll need to be that strong.
As Oda would say, he can move because of his HEART!
I'm completely stumped on imagining what Brooke's fighting style will be but I'd say he isn't the cowardly type.
Considering he went looking for Moria after all.
I would have yo say that he's some martial art karate man, or he have the same power as Kimimaro Kaguya (the guy from Naruto who grows his bones and do crazy things with them)
I think he got a intrument with a strong DF power, maybe a paramecia that could shoot something when he starts to play on the instrument… Or he could have another side effect of his own df making some good attack force... OR he will just have another weapon.
One thing is almost certain though, he will use his speed a lot to move around and dodge the enemy since he doesnt seem to be able to take so many hits... I just hope his fightning style is original and fresh unlike Frankys...
Err, Rootbeer said on first page it should go on Brooke's official discussion thread, why can't this go there?
He covers his fist in his soul to deliver an un-earthly powerful punch
anyone else remember igarams gun/saxophone? I forsee that sorta thing goin on.
