i personally think that two weeks ago on a saturday was the worst shopping expereince i had was with my friend…. SHE went shopping for 8 hours.... ok... i kept on asking...when are we going home. She wouldn't listen, why... why do women insist on shopping... for just clothes explain.. my gosh it doesn't even take me that long to shop for my stuff... It only takes me an hour at most. My legs hurt, and my arms were tired from carrying her bags.....(i wanted to die) it was extreme boredom for me. We didn't eat anything either....for that time period. so that was my worst expereince ever! shopping, and i thought my mother was bad...shesh.
Worst shopping expereince with anyone!

ha ha ha, I don't get girls either, and I'm one of them. I don't mind shopping in general, for fun stuff, like videogames. But I hate clothes shopping. especially if I'm not buying anything. I hate finally finding something I like, only to discover, it doesn't fit me right. And I just loathe changing clothes in general. so, trying on the clothes is not fun.
And you didn't eat for 8 hours. ok, that's not fun. I love eating. You always gotta buy some food when you go out. Food is yummy. (reason why I never go out, I have no money to buy this stuff)
lesson learned, leave the clothes shopping to the girls. (aperently I'm not one of them) XD

my friend was really into shopping at that moment and wasn't listening grrrr
-
my sister and cousin shang-hai'd be into going shopping in the busiest mall in the area on Boxing day…....not fun DAY!
-
that really doesn't sound fun…espically on the busy days.. those mall's are hell
-
My worst shopping experience was when I was accused of shoplifting. The store people even tried to tell me they had it on video. That's what bothered me the most. Instead of just telling me I looked suspicious or being polite about it, they started lying right off, telling me they were 100% certain that I stole something and they had it on video.
I've been followed by store people lots of times (and its hilarious because they think I don't notice), but that was the first time anyone tried to use scare tactics on me.

not that looks should dictate what kind of a person you are, but out of curiosity, do you have that look of a suspicios charicter?
(I remember when my ex had long hair like a hypie, he got asked a few times if he had any pot on him)

lol haah pot hehehhe funny
-
No question, my mom. You know, when you're younger and you have to tag along. We have the biggest mall in the whole caribbean and she used to go into each store, look at clothes for about 3 hours and buy nothing! Every single time I had to come along it was like that. I ended up taking my Game Boy Color and Pokemon Red.
Years later I'm thankful I don't have shopoholic friends.

I have short/medium hair. I always wear button-up collar shirts and whatever those formal type trousers are called (sorry, I don't pay attention to the name of clothing). There were other people in the store that day wearing jeans down to their knees, but I guess that's what's considered normal these days.
But I suppose I must be suspicious, seeing as how I'm often followed around. I do look quite young though, so it could be ageism or something.
-
wierd that they would follow a spiffy dresser like you, and not be suspicios of those guys with baggy pants. they're probably falling down from all the loot they got hiding in their pants. XD
-
Hey you don't know. The kids with the baggy pants might look "tough" and "thuggish" and look like they're up to no good when in reality they have a heart of gold. And looking for acceptance.

Wow Capt Ussop..I am exactly like that. I hate to shop for clothes, but i could walk around forever in a hobby shop, or an electronics store, or a pet store.
The worst shopping trip I ever had, was going with my sister to buy maternity clothes. She only wanted to buy from one certian store. We had my 2 year old cranky nephew with us, and she took FOREVER! She would spend like an hour searching for stuff, then take forever trying it on..then look some more. My nephew was screaming and people looking at me. After we had to drive to the other mall to see what they had in that store.
-
I quite like shopping me, I usually spend ages in like 2 shops, then rush the rest tho XD So I'm done in like an hour or so…
-
I like shopping but I always seem to end up going back and forth from the same couple of shops, trying to decide if I REALLY want that top/skirt/bracelet/pair of earrings/pants/shoes… so indecisive...
-
amazon. I ordered 2 books and 5 comics (2 jhonen vasquez, you just can't find them here in italy) on the christmas week… things haven't arrived yet and I have no idea of what to do. ;___;

oh, i wasn't being serios when I was saying that stuff. :) no worries
hey mr cricket, I would have told my sister, that you are taking her son, and going over to the toy store in the mall while she looks. Or, why didn't she go on her own, and you stay at home with your nephew and babysit for her?
Local, your a shop a holic. I worry about your spending habits XD
-
Being lost in a mall in Hong Kong is not very pleasant. Especially if you're 7 or so.

my birthday last year. I went shopping with one of my friends. And the whole time, she kept bugging me to buy her stuff. It made me so mad! It was my birthday! I had been nice and paid for her lunch! I didn't want to buy her a bunch of stuff! I wanted to buy myself a bunch of stuff, but she kept complaining and complaining.
-

Well, I'm still young, I'm allowed to go mad on spending stuff.
Anyways, a usual shopping day for me (non-ebay)
walks in Forbiddon Planet
Me: 0.0 OMG THEY GOT THE NEW DOCTOR WHO FIGURES cums and buys
walks deeper into the shop
Me: GASP! New CD, GET! buys
even deeper
Me: MANGA! YAAAY! buys
2 minutes later and walks out of shop down about £30
Me: Well I'm done, can we go home now?
Friend: …..We just got here.
Me: So? I'm spent up.

hey mr cricket
Ms Cricket is a mr, my world is shattered (jk).
On topic, my worst shopping experience, and I mean WORST, was with one of my ex-girlfriends. She, one Saturday, dragged me off to the West End (London), partly by guilting me about the lack of time we spend together since we go to two different colleges and she normally works on weekends (so sue me, I'm a student bum); and partly by offering to buy me lunch (hey, I can't resist a free meal). After lunch, which was quite a pleasant affair (the large pizza and refillable drinks had something to do with it) it was off to the shops. It was ok at first, then she started buying clothes upon clothes upon clothes,shoes/boots, handbags, etc, at shop after shop after shop, her excuse being it was her day off and she recently got paid, she would not get another day like this in a long while. The problem with this was that I was stuck carrying the ever mounting number of bags, whilst she ran off to the next shop she wanted to visit/buy more crap from, leaving me behind with all the stuff. You should have seen how ridiculous I looked holding all these shopping bags from women's shops in my hands (she did not want her bags to touch the ground so I couldn't just put them down when I wanted) and trying to call her to find out which shop she was in at that time. A few people even started to laugh at me! When I started to complain (saying only sweetboys, of which I was definately not one of, had to endure this kind of stuff) and suggested she at least carried some of her stuff, she once again started to guilt me stating that since I don't buy her stuff, I should at least be willing to carry the stuff SHE buys HERSELF (this is not entirely true; I did buy her some thing like on Christmas and Valentine's Day covers ass. I'm not exactly rich you know). By the time she had finished shopping it was around nine pm, and was bitterly cold (mid-winter). I had to take her, and her effing shopping, home, and I can tell you the bus journey was not a fun one (she tried some idle chit chat which I was too exhausted to even listen let alone respond, telling me how she enjoyed the shopping day out and blah blah blah). When we reached her house, I finally got to offload, and, claiming I was too tired for anything else an needed some nap-time, kissed her goodnight before embarking on the hour long bus journey home, on the way swearing that to myself that never again (maybe summer, since clother are light) would I go shopping with her, or any other girl for that matter, especially if they offered me a free meal.

My worst experience has to be going to the mall with my dad as a kid. But, it's mostly because he spends an eternity in shoe stores. And please, don't get me started on the time we were on the way back from vacation. In the middle of our 9 hour drive home, he stops at the Nike outlet, and comes back almost an hour later.

lol, tell me about it! well i spent much money on my clothes but as a guy i can see what i like instantly,i go to replay or guru,or D&G or iceberg or ferre etc and i buy only the things i like or i "aim" on certain clothes when i accompany my friends to their shopping
but girls, they are…. they want a dress with colours and shape that is the latest fashion but they have to see every story in the city to buy it!!!! even if they saw it in a fashion magazine they will just go round the city in every store to buy it!
and we pay it!!! god!!!
EDIT: my worst experience was in mykonos,i usually go with my buddies but this summer i decided to go with my best female friend, not only she ruinned all my talks with other girls on purpose but she left me broke!!! i just wanted a t-shirt from space (a famous club) that said f**k me i'm famous and i was searching for ever two jokey hats,a black one from dsquared that said angel and a white from emporio armani that had the letters vertically instead of horizontally
when we went to space in our the last night she insisted to buy them so i gave her money to buy them (2 t-shirts for both of us),she was holding the
bag and when we went back to the hotel we started packing our things rapidly so that we could take a last walk in the island b4 so that we wouldn't lost the ship so she packed the bag in her stuff and said that when we reached home she would ive me the shirtthe last day of our vacation i found a store with both the hats!!!!!!!! their price was near 130 euro each,i bought the dsquared but my friend told me that she knew a store that had the armani and she would buy it from there when we went home cuz she needed to lend her my money
so i bought the first hat and gave her my last money, when he arrived at home not only she lied about the t-shirts that she haven't bought for me (ironically while she got one for herself and i told her in the first place about the t-shirt) but she took my dsquared hat to wear it and when her boyfriend came to the dock she gave it to him by saing it was a present for him and later when i asked her about the armani hat she said she was lying!!!!!!!
i never found the hat,i wouldn't intend to ask for the money back and i didn't and later i heard from her friend that she was on purpose ruinning my dates so that if she needed our room to bring a guy,it would always be available!!
it was my worst vacation ever and the worst shopping expirience in the same time! and i believe no one had a worst experience

eaw, gamistras, where did you find this worthless piece of meat that some how resembles a human being. I have never heard of something so evil. That's awful!!!
senshi, you reminded me of when I went shopping with my dad for my grad dress. I went shopping in the city with my friends the week before, for their grad dresses. So, while they were trying dresses on, I did too, out of nothing better to do. Well, what do you know, I find the PERFECT dress for me. of coarse, I didn't need a grad dress until next year, so I did not bring money for a grad dress.
So, next weekend, I have to go back up with my dad to pick it up. My mom could not come cause she was working. We go to the store, the dress is still there. I could tell though, my dad did not like it. (dad's are no good at things like this) So, reluctently, I try on a few dresses for him. (remember I said I hate trying on clothes the other day) Well, we did find one that looked nice, ut it wasn't a dress you would wear for grad. So I grumble and moan at my dad, and he says "well lets call mom and see what she says"
We call my mom, who is still at work by the way, and my mom tells my dad "let her buy the dress SHE wants" ha ha ha (it was kind of cute actually)
ya, I sound like such a ditz with that story, but it's still entertaining.
-
the worst shopping experience is when you're in the mood for some serious shopping but have no money to spend. then a friend drags you to the biggest shopping mall where she spent $700 on the coolest clothes in one day. you drool for the clothes but she buys you coffee instead.
gah.

thanks for the understanding captain usopp!!! well i am 19 and we were classmates in high school (for a year that is since i was expelled from my other school ) but then she was cool, she was kind and caring and i don't know how in less than a year a person can turn into that thing that ruinned my vacation!!!
maybe you will understand me from what i have read from your posts but it's like i have 2 sides inside me,one popular and one shy so i gather all kinds of trash but the ones that i don't notice what they trully are always ruin something of mine, first it was a relationship with a girl that was starting to evolve and the last thing was my vacation, sadly i am beginning to think it is my fault for being too kind:sad: but this is who i am so i pray for god to give me sharingan to see in people's hearts!
also in an hour i am going for shopping with 500 euro,i have to get shoes,a jacket by replay and i hope i find some decent blouses or shirts!!!!

ah, I see. someone who you once trusted. It is hard to see the changes in people sometimes, becasue all you see is the vision of what they used to be. I got treated like shit by my ex in the end because I was too blind to see that he had changed so much, and was really a different person, than the guy I met several years ago.
I learned a good lesson from that. don't let ANYONE treat you like shit, even if they are very important to you. Ya, you should have really stood up for yourself, but I am not one to speak either, since I walked into the same thing. :) I think I understand. :)
