Which do you think would be better, black blood or no blood….
think... would you want naruto to have Iruka to be stabbed and have nothing come out or when some scenes are too bloody in one piece they cut it out?

I like black blood, because at least they try to make SOME kind of effort to include blood and pretend that people don't bleed.
Maybe anime characters are orcs?
Black blood is DEFINENTLY better than no blood!
What's the point of doing any fight scene if there's no blood anyway?
Before I can answer that I would like to know why they make blood black. It's still blood, just black. Why do they do that? Might as well keep it red.

So that the stupid parents who let their kids watch Toonami ( and God forbid, even the AS) won't complain and threaten to sue the network. It's the parent's own dumb fault for letting their 4 year olds stay up to watch Toonami when the should be in bed way before it comes on anyway. These are the same kind of parents that would let their "little ones" watch Evangelion. The sad thing is that the "Little ones" that try to watch Evangelion will get so confused by the show that their heads will explode. LOL. Most teens and adults don't even understand the show. I don't have any problems though.
Thinks about kiddies trying to watch Ghost in the Shell and FMA,then Laughs and throws up
it sickens me that soccer moms file complaints everytime you here a anime character say "I'm gonna kill you" this then is changed to "I'm gonna obliterate you" or some crap
Points out again that in at least two cases he can think of offhand, it was the Japanese who made the blood black
Anyway, as for my opinion, it really depends on the context. If we're talking flowing blood (which is most commonly what's edited) I'd say that if a given scene could be cleaned up so that it lacked blood but the scene itself didn't have to be removed, I'd just rather not have the blood. It looks weird when black/green/purple stuff goes flying. On the other hand, for blood on faces/bodies that's just kinda there (which is generally ok by CN standards anyway, as far as I can recall), I prefer it left there, if discolored a bit. There's more of a "Dang! He got beat UP!" feel in those cases.

While I wouldn't say it "sickens me", the fact that some anime fans need to create this invisible enemy and under the name of "soccer moms" drives me pretty nuts. <_<
I think Jacobo wanted to know the point of making it black if people will just realize it's the same damn thing as red blood, only darker. That's what I'm wondering. Does its darker shade make it more wholesome or something?

Yea, I don't really like it. Why do you call them all 'soccer moms'?

That's exactly what I meant.
