**Hmm… I can't say I remember it, but eh...
A few months after I was born, I came down with an extremely high fever. I was rushed to the hospital for it. While I don't remember it... I've been told it almost killed me. I don't ask about it much, so the details are fairly sketchy. Needless to say, I lived.

i'm told that the fairly same happened to me, though i'm not sure if it was as serious as yours. i was putted in some sort of oxygene-cabinet-thing, and my parents were worried as hell.
nothing really bad has never happened to me, no stitches or fractured bones or anything like that, but i've had my fair share of injuries.
like about a year ago, when the weather was really mild, winter starting to turn to spring, the roads were very slippery, and i was biking home from the town.
there's this hill, which i was going down. it was ice all over it, and it was only a matter of time when my tyres were to conflict with the circumstances.
i tried to pass these two ladies, because it would be quite rude to bump into other people.
and then i went. fast. down.
only thing i noticed was when my chin hitted the road, and thought that it had cracked open.
the former ladies saw what happened, and they came to help me, and the first thing i asked was 'how does my chin look like?' (not the face! anything but the face!)
they said it didn't look bad. then i started to examinate what had happened, and noticed that both my palms were bleeding (i still have the scars) and that my knees weren't being very functional.
they gave me some paper to wrap around my hands, and i rode home, where i studied my injuries with more care. turned out that not only my palms, but my knees were bleeding too, (the strange part is that my pants suffered no damage) and both of them had swelled in the measures of tennisballs.
walking wasn't the easiest thing to do in a couple of days. nor standing.
and since i seem to be having troubles with my balance in general, last fall my friend was here to visit me, and we got really drunk. we decided to go out and played around. i confrontated the earth once again, causing my knees to swell and bleed, somehow twist one of my fingers and crack some parts of the body open.
and because i was so verry drunk, i didn't notice a thing until we got home and i was like 'what the hell? why is there blood?'
and i still have a small stone capsuled inside my hand because years ago, oh, look, i fell, and i couldn't get it out of the cut.
