One Piece Tattoos

I want a tattoo of Bon Clay on my ass!!! ^_^
j/k
Seriously, though I've never really considered getting a OP tattoo. I did want to get Frieza from DBZ tattooed on my thigh for a long time. I still sorta do today, but my girlfriend doesn't like DBZ. Plus the only Frieza murchandise I own is an action figure of his 3rd form.
However, now that I think about it, it would be pretty cool to have the Japanese symbol for "nakama" tattooed on my bicep. That sort of counts as One Piece.
-
I wouldn't mind having an anime-related tattoo, although a One Piece-related one never crossed my mind. I've always wanted one of Yajirobe (from DB/DBZ) and it would really emphasize my status as a true Yajirobe fanatic. Hell, I've got a screen name, user name, and e-mail address that bears his name, and also a web site with him in it. Why not a tattoo?
But if I did want one that was OP-related, it'd be one of Luffy and/or Usopp. Heh, it'd be funny if I got one of Luffy, I could play around with the limbs and yell "GOMU GOMU… (insert one of Luffy's signature attacks here)!!!"
-
Recently I have been thinking about getting a tatoo myself. But I can't decide what I want at the moment. Because I kinda thinking about getting ether get The Dragonzord power coin symbol or Nami's tatoo that she got at the end of Arlong. But that couple of my ideas for my tatoo.
-
The 32 tattoo is pretty awesome. You could explain it off as literally anything.
Yup, only the awesomeness of Riksu could think of a tattoo like that.
-
thanks for the compliments, guys.
yep, it could pass off as anything, but i got it for the only purpose i could think of. didn't want the thing to be flamingly obvious, but still something to remind me of the funny days.
i'm an over-thinker, me.special props to those who get where the font is taken from.
and solar, your kind words do nothing to me, you bastard!
does the happy dance -
I think having the Whitebeard symbol on my back would be pretty cool. It could be as a tribute to Ace (who's my favorite character), and have a somewhat deep meaning.
When someone see's a swastika, that's what they see. What they don't realize is that it originated from the Manji, a Buddisht symbol. Thusly when they'd see it on my back, they'd assume I'm a Neo-Nazi, with a cool-looking skull on it, when I'm nothing of the sort. ^_^
-
I never ever posted here before ( forum lurker ) , but I really need help from all u great guys :)
Im planning to start do some Tattoos, and I have always admired the different Tattoos from One piece.
The thing is its really hard to find good pictures of the different tattoos, so I need help with finding different images of the different tattoos people have.
Also symbols on flags and so on is welcome.
So help please and I will then post pictures of my tattoos :)This is a example of a symbol Im thinking of doing:
http://www.gumgum.org/info/flags/f_arlong.gifIm also thinking about the symbol Ace has on his back ( not the swastika, but the edited anime version )
So please spam this thread with ideas :D -
I've got Robin's flag on my back lol, its hard to take a picture of tho ;-; but still, I luff it <3

Wow. I'm surprised you didn't tell us before.
-
I did mention it once or twice lol, I only had it done at christmas time so.

Personally I don't think I'd ever consider getting a One Piece tattoo, I'm not really interested in tattoo's in general.. However if I were to get a tattoo, and especially one that was related to an anime, I'd get one that was related to Kaleido Star. Reason being is that while I love this anime to pieces, it's also helped me on a more personal level as well.. A tattoo from this show would remind me never to give up no matter how dire the consequences.. (One Piece could also do that, but I digress.. xD)
Possibly the Kaleido Stage logo: http://www.somegate.com/member_avatar/kwangdo.jpg (Minus the Kaleido Stage part at the bottom.. ;P)
Or something like this: (Meaning I'd change some of the characteristics like the hair/clothing/etc.. But keep the pose)
http://www.anime-source.com/banzai/images/articles/kaleidostar/kaleido_star_dvd.jpgThough if I were to get a One Piece tattoo I'd probably get the one Arlong has on his chest, only move the location to my back instead.
-
If i were to get a One Piece related Tattoo, it would probably be a simple shape that can be unrelated to One Piece. I can't think of many though.
-
Zoro's scar from his fight against Mihawk. Heh… I can already inagine some of the conversations I could start...
"And I was like DAMN MAN! That's a HUGE sword!!!"
-
U see the one he has on his right upper arm? can someone get me a better pic of that one
-
Well, here's someone who got a Nami tattoo on her arm: Deviart link.
It doesn't look the right color though. -_-And hey, if anyone wants to see how a certain tattoo looks on them, send me the picture of what you want and a picture of yourself.
Be sure to mention where you want it, etc.
I'm pretty good at making virtual tats. -

Check the manga. Chapter 90, page 6 is good, as is 92-10, and 92-11.
You'll probably have to combine several images.
It's basically his swirled-fish (as seen on Chuu's shoulder) with a frill.
-
I never really believed in tattoos or piercings but the more I think about it…this wont be till I'm like 30 or older, but I'm thinking getting a large manji on my back...like Ace's but without the Whitebeard face.
Only thing that worries me about this is everyone thinks the manji is a swastika, so if my back was ever exposed with this on it I'll probably be called a Nazi and I'll be murdered right there.
-
Didn't want to create a new topic when we've got such a good one from not too long ago.
What do you people think about a tattoo like the one Luffy has on this cover?
!
It would be in red or black on either the upper arm or where Luffy has it on his leg. A neat little wraparound.
-
If I get one, it'll probably be Nami's tattoo, except I'd have it smaller and probably on an ankle or my back :P
-
I'll most likely end up with something one piece related on me eventually..Maybe the "X" signs that they had(and might still have, can't remember.:P) in Alabasta on my inner wrist. It's not THAT one piece related, and I like simple shapes like that.
And My favorite shapes are swirls and hearts, so I'll probably end up with my "signature" on me eventually as well. It's a heart(usually black, due to my lack of colored pens.XD) with a swirl coming from it's bottom tip.
But that's just me.X3
-
I have Nami's tattoo on my back, up by the shoulder. He did some highlighting on it. I like it.
-
I'd like to make X mark on my hand
-
I don't like tattoos. But the closets thing I ever got to one of those was Sause-gay's curse seal on my hand with a marker, and then I drew the WG symbol on my ankle.
But not real tattoos, no. Sorry, if this was spam. Pardon me….
-
hmmm… I was actually just thinking about this the other day, and now I come across this thread! funny.
The conclusion that I came to was that if I were to ever get a One Piece tattoo, it would have to be, as Kitty metioned, this:
Yes. That's right- the World Government logo. Not that I support them (hell, the WG will probably be utterly destroyed by the Strawhats by the end of the series), but it's quite simple, ambiguous, and aesthetically appealing. It's unlikely that anyone would ever ask about it, and if they did, it would be easy to make up a crazy explanation.I'd probably put it on one of my upper arms… as opposed to giant, on my back, and drawn out of scars, like Lucci.
The fact is, as awesome as the Mugiwara symbol or a detailed character picture would be, sadly, chances are you'd be regretting it years from now. Something simple really seems the way to go (Nami's pinwheel/mika tat is awesome too, but... only on a girl).
-
I figure I should have at least one tattoo that I will regret when I'm older.
On my upper left shoulder, I wanna get "Great Captain Usopp" in japanese with this picture of Usopp beneath it.
I contemplated getting the kanji for "Mugiwara Kaizoku Dan" on my kuckles, but that might be a bit distasteful. But on my 18th birthday next year, after I get the tattoo I've always wanted, I'mma save up for something I'll hate when I'm fourty. :D
-
If I had to choose to get a One Piece Tatoo, I'd get one that would look badass even after my little fascination of manga passes. I'd choose Arlong's sun tatoo on his chest, or a smaller scaled version of Wiper's tatoo on his left shoulder
-
i got a One piece tattoo a few months ago, and im very pleased with it =3
-
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! looks nicce:whistling: post in 5 yrs how you feeling about it…..
ohh and @ local-chan
youve done your tattoo for sure ..don
t need a proof hahaha -
Been deciding for a few months on what to get and at the moment im siding with just the One Piec logo on the top og my back. I wont regret it if it looks good ^^ because i'll always enjoy one piece even when im alot older. so yes the logo but in the case i back out of that just getting the Mugiwara Skull and cross bones. ^^
-
My favourite tattoo is that some brittish bloke got all over his back picturing Doumbledore holding a parchment with the names of his kids….
Man did he regrett that one after Rowlings came out and said the headmaster was gay.
-
@Don:
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! looks nicce:whistling: post in 5 yrs how you feeling about it…..
ohh and @ local-chan
youve done your tattoo for sure ..don
t need a proof hahahaim 100% positive i wont re4gret it, because of 3 big reasons,
1. ive never actually ever lost interest in anything ive ever liked
2.the only thing i ever regretted in my life was going out with my 3rd ex lol
3.usopp actually means something to me, the progression of usopp is very similar to how i was and am now as a personso im positive i wont be regretting it :D
(on a side note, a few of my friends have the other jolly rogers, so in a way its also like a proof that were friends ^^)
-
The only tattoo I've really considered getting from One Piece is the X on the arm, from Alabasta. A friend of mine said they'd get one as well, if I actually did get it. It was a symbol of true friendship for the Straw Hats, so it has a lot of meaning to it, while not being too flashy or obvious. I think it'd be nice to have.
-
You know, I've always wanted a One Piece tattoo….and next month I get mine!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/tsatoma/3574237924/
There it is. Took me awhile to design it, but I'm proud with the final results. Still a little more fixing needed but I'll get to it soon.
-
I'm scared to death of needles, but I thought that if I ever got a tattoo, it would be similar to Nojiko's. I just love it.
-
I don't think I would ever want to get a tatoo, especially of a cartoon that I might end up regretting later on in the years. But if I did get one of One Piece I'd design my own that had certain symbols from OP that were very special to me. Like, a skull of some sorts with 'x's around it and some swirlly lines held together or something.
-
I'd want the X symbol of friendship on my forearm arm, and/or the tattoo of the Sun Pirates on my right shoulder
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/216/18-19/
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/521/16/ -
if i got an anime tatoo it would probaly be a transmutaion circle from full metal alchemist
or gurren lagann logo with who the hell do u think i am writen in japanese -
@Sanjii: Getting the kanji for nakama is actually a cool idea. Love the other personal touch you gave it as well. Nice tat.
-
My dad always has this one quote:
"A tattoo is a permanent reminder of a temporary emotion."
If I'm still into One Piece 20 years from now, I'll get some henna or washable tattoos.
-
thats an awfully broad stroke to be painting the entire concept of tattoos with
-
I know. He absolutely hates tattoos, unless they have a really deep meaning.
-
I like Arlong's tattoo, but I would be totally dead if I got something like that DX
I don't plan on ever getting one, but doing henna and temp tattoos of stuff like this is really fun. Somehow I'm gonna get Iceberg's on my arms for cosplay… and leave it there for awhile XD Temporarily, of course XD
-
Here's mine. Excellent placement, but now I've got to wear long sleeves to the 9-5…
I used about 2 parts dark purple and 1 part black. I've got plans to incorporate this into a sleeve that will wrap around to the back of the shoulder. Working on the artist now…
-
If I'll get a OP related tattoo (tattoo is a probable thing for me ;) ) then I'd like Nami's or the Arong Pirates symbol
-
After this past arc, it'd be awesome to get the Whitebeard Jolly Roger on my back or the other symbol the division commanders have like the one on Marco's chest
-
I was fairly young when One Piece came out, and I haven't ever lost interest in it. Oda's never really disappointed me. I've fallen out of love with the new Final Fantasy games, Inuyasha got boring, but One Piece has always had a great big place in my heart. I'm rather proud that I'm a One Piece fan.
That symbol on Ace's hat, with the horned skull, would be a cool tattoo for me. Dunno where. Conservative decision would be on my shoulder. And it's not as exciting looking, but that X for friendship on a forearm would be interesting. o:
I adore Lucci, but I have a feeling that him and the rest of CP9 will be turning against the World Government soon. So tattooing the WG symbol on me might actually be something I end up regretting, since one of the things I'm interested in seeing is how this conflict with the corrupt WG is going to be resolved one day.
-edit- Oh, lookie. Someone's already getting the friendship mark on their arm. :'D
