Oh, God, I feel old. I remember watching Ren & Stimpy with my friends at college!
Back in the day when I was little it was Sesame Street, The Electric Company, Mr. Rogers, Captain Kangaroo (loved this one sooo much). All the Scooby Doo, Fat Albert, Loony Toons, Tom & Jerry, and SuperFriends I could find on the tube made up my cartoon selections. Loved The Adams Family (I really liked them a lot more than the Munsters - loved the Munsters and all but really preferred the Adams Family). The Three Stooges (effing timeless). Worshipped the Muppets. The Muppet Movie was like a religious experience for me. Then I discovered monster movies and that was about it for cartoons for me for a while. Video tapes of Godzilla vs the Smog Monster, Star Wars and Prophecy (the mutant bear one) were my baby sitters (and best friends sniffle) for years. Each year when new cartoons would come on the air I would watch, disappointed. Half the time we didn't even get them.
Ooh, I loved the Incredible Hulk too.
Didn't really start into cartoons again until my dad got married and I had a little brother watching cartoons all the time. Good thing or I might not have watched Duck Tales or Muppet Babies.
