@bedrock:
Why should he (or anyone else) explain such a pointless and obvious point? Instead of acknowledging that your theory holds no really striking evidence (or at least debate his arguments/point of view) you simply sway to another pointless argument.:sad:
If you don't agree with me, fine, but don't insult me. I'm not changing the subject. Facts get lost over time. Just because some guy in the modern era says, "He's the only one that got to Raftel", doesn't mean squat. The renaissance believed that Christopher Columbus discovered America, when it was really Leif Erikson, another European explorer that everyone had forgotten.
People say things based on what they've been told. Even in the One Piece world, people go by what they're told. Saul himself questioned the "Evil" they were protecting the world from. That's the whole reason he saved Robin and listened to Olivia's words. If he didn't question the crap he was being fed, he would still be a marine, Ohara would've been destroyed, and Robin would be dead. So don't tell me that knowledge hasn't been changed in the One Piece world.
I dunno if you hate me or what, Bedrock, but accusing me of changing the subject when I'm just proving a point is wrong. If the Norland flashback is any indication, there were many prosperous civilizations long ago along with the lost kingdom. I'm sure at least of them at some point reached Raftel, and it was just forgotten, like a lot of things in the One Piece world.
Point is, if 100 years can be forgotten, so can one damn thing. Thus, you still cannot disprove the existence of a former Pirate King.
