@hyakamaru:
Actually, it does.
I guess my blazing glory is too much for you to handle, eh?
…
Oh, I also vote "YES" on a signature ban. I hide 'em anyway, just like avatars, primarily because my own banner has been crippled. ._.
@oceanizer:
This is the problem I have:
…
That is the result of viewing in 1280x800, the best resolution I could have on my laptop.
I'm not exactly sure what the problem is; my image's size is a 24 KB .gif, which is 1/2 the size of an average .jpg banner on this board and 1/4 the total KB maximum of the signature. I don't see what the problem is with scrolling down one hundred more pixels to bypass my signature when other people have (collectively) comparably large signatures and there's no problem with that.
The only issue I could foresee is with my own person; I'm a frequent poster, so unlike the other folk with large signatures it could be tiring. On top of that, there's the issue of my banner standing out (which was the intended point) but I don't see that as much of a hindurance since I'm on a number of ignore lists anyway.
What I'm saying is, I'm devoting my signature to just one image, and a light one at that, but I can't have it because its 103 pixels too large and I couldn't share those pixels off. On top of that, people have signature that reach the limit of 200 pixels and looking at tons of signatures like that shouldn't be anymore tiring than having to look at my own; at that, while my banner is larger than all, the size isn't noticeable when grouped with all those other tall banners.
The real killer, though, is that I can't even have the banner in a spoiler, which kinda sucks for me but at least my quotes are still readible.
