Wasn't The Long Halloween just a bit under three hours? I know it was originally released on two DVDs but those came out only a few weeks apart so it was probably more WB deciding to make more money off it by breaking it in half than anything else.
The Dark Knight Returns was also released in two parts for a total run time of just under three hours.
I dunno. They didn't get theatrical releases, and were released in two parts. It was a money making ploy given how close together they released but that technicality probably keeps them off the lists regadless if it eventually sits as a single film since they're technically a miniseries. Otherwise you have to start questioning Lord of the Rings, the Matrix, and Back to the Future. Those all had cases where the parts were filmed simultaneously and each piece leads directly into the next with no real story break, but intended for separate releases.
And for all that Kill Bill was filmed and intended as a single movie, in the edit Tarantino still made certain choices like not showing Bill's face in the first half, and a definitive action climax and cliffhanger that give it a clear divide. I haven't seen the combined cut though so I don't know how it flows as intended.
