Every season of the show follows the events of a major trial that "made" the US (meaning, recent history). At least that's what some journalists say, I don't know if it's historically 100% accurate.
First season was about the O.J. Simpson murder case, and how they used the color of his skin to make him look like a victim.
!
Second season is about Gianni Versace's murder by Andrew Cunanan. This season isn't about a trial but more how homosexuals were depicted through the media (I guess, because the season isn't finished yet)
!
The show looks more like an 8hour long movie than a TV show. It's technically very good, wether it's the actors, the costumes, the soundtrack, the photography or the directing.
The only problem I have with it is that murderers are a bit glamourized. O.J Simpson and Andrew Cunanan are crazy, but they look way better than they do in real life (just like in every shows about crime and all) and Simpson can actually be (sometimes) funny in the show (because he's dumb but it doesn't change that he can be funny, which I doubt he was/is in real life).
Season 3 will be about hurricane Katrina (I think.) It was initially supposed to be about Dubya, but unfortunately they changed the script a few months ago (probably because someone wasn't happy and put pressure on the production somehow) to make it about this. Or maybe they sincerely thought that it'd make a better story, who knows.
Season 4 will be about the Monica Lewinsky thing and how a president almost got impeached for–--- nothing.
So, what do you think the next season's should be about ?
Here's a wish-list I just made:
-Michael Jackson's trial
-Something about Goldman Sachs (dipshit Fabrice Tourre ? hope so.)
-Charles Manson, maybe (unsure about it)
-Trump's impeachment :ninja:
