I love this thing immensely! It's beautiful!
It's a full on Where's Wally page as well, there's also Wenda, Odlaw and Wizard Whitebeard in there, as well as Bentham acting as a fake Wally. And of course there's a Pandaman! The attention to detail! I used to love Where's Wally as a kid and this is sending me on such a nostalgia trip.
I wonder if the skin tones shown here for the Numbers and half the Tobi Roppo's dinosaur forms will prove to be accurate, I think this is the first time they've been officially drawn in colour.
My gut reaction when it was announced was "what, really, why?" but I couldn't be happier with the final result.

I've got half a mind to do it, but I might wait until the magazine drops officially on Monday in hopes of better image quality.
There should be three people who look like Wally. You've got the man himself, the girl version Wenda (almost indistinguishable from him in this scan tbh) and Bentham transforming into him (you can tell from the pose). Plus Odlaw (Wally but yellow) and the wizard.
I've heard the dog (Woof) and the five missing items associated with the Where's Wally characters in the books are also in there, but I've had less luck finding them. I can see the binoculars and the camera, but I've got no idea where Woof got to.
This is absolutely insane and I love it so much.

The perspective is a bit funky but yeah, it's actually pretty accurate to the canon layout. I'm surprised by how many characters are actually close to where they're meant to be (albeit a few chapters out of date)
I was having a hard time finding Nami and Usopp so I looked for Ulti and Page One and wouldn’t you know, right where they were supposed to be!
I tried to do a quick clean-up to get a better idea of the layout and where the arc-relevant characters are so i could use it as a map. It's kinda bad to be honest, but for anyone who has trouble finding some of the characters maybe it helps. Might've missed a few, and as noted I'm only including characters who are in this arc.
The hardest for me was Robin and Brook, they don't stand out at all and unlike most other characters they don't have a clear place where you'd expect them. Carrot/Wanda, Tama/Nami/Usopp and Chopper are also hard since they're covered by other characters, but once you find any character relevant to them it's easy to spot them nearby. Biggest surprise was Shishillian, he's well hidden too and unlike the others I didn't expect him to be included at all.

As a map, it does a poor job showing the split between the forehead floor (which is again nowhere near the forehead of the skull lol) and the performance floor. You can barely see the stairs going between the levels rising under the bridge.
It's also way out of date as a character map. Scabbards still on the roof, Yamato's group still in the storeroom, Ulti and Page One chasing Usopp and Nami across the lower levels, Queen still on the castle's second floor where the balcony is. If I had to guess, I'd say it might have been commissioned around chapter 1000. It's great that it hit the notes for that, but there's been a lot of movement in the past 20ish chapters.
Still can't see Robin or Brook and I've already spent a lot of time looking at this. Great great colab. It is a bit out of date but still surprising how accurate it can be despite the utter chaos!
Oh, so that was indeed supposed to be Robin after all! Somehow I completely missed Brook next to her and thought to myself "huh, maybe it's not Robin then". Thanks, guys!

There's a few Gifters that have definitely made canon appearances but not been named, like the butterfly and snake girls, and the as-yet unnamed members of CP0 as well.
There are also a few Gifter designs that aren't canon at the minute, but should be - I love the chameleon archer and the lion guy with paws coming out of his head.
And finally there's a couple more suspect objects not on any known to-find list, like a bag and a coffee cup.

Different versions of this for past arcs and sagas would be amazing! A whole Where's Wally book of One Piece spreads. You're right that Marineford could be sad, but I think a Thriller Bark one would be a banger. Lots of fun to be had with the different zombie designs

As expected of someone working on a spinoff like One Piece Academy, he's definitely seen the full volume 99 - 101 connected cover ahead of time. His colouring follows Oda's choices on the covers instead of the alterations made by the anime - the dark grey segment on Jinbe's cape instead of more blues and purples, Sanji's white tie instead of a red one, a blue wrap on Robin's midsection instead of a purple one.
It looks like on volume 101 we'll be seeing slightly different Franky colours to the anime version as well. Purple instead of black on his fists and vest, and white instead of yellow for the rope around his waist.

Eiichiro Oda designed the logo of Shueisha Jump Remix for its 20th anniversary.
Shueisha Jump Remix will release the first 597 chapters into 24 Volumes (Each one contain +500 pages), the first volume will release on Sept 3rd.
They didn't mention any special content in this volumes, I guess it's similar to "One Piece Logs".
Interesting prospect. More pages than a kanzenban, but less than a logbook or the Viz 3-in-1s. It'd be good to know more about the dimensions and paper quality, especially with it only being announced so close to the release date.
If there's going to be new coverart, that'll have my attention, but based on the info I found on the Jojo Jump Remix release, that probably won't be the case.

Looks like they'll have their own covers pieced together from old Jump covers and other bits of promo art. The first one's apparently this:
But it'll presumably have magazine print size and the original colour pages, if the Jojo version is anything to go off of. But I think these are meant to be more of a quick, cheap catchup option than a real substitute for a tankoban or kanzenban set.
The East Blue tag next to the volume title is neat. It'll be interesting to see how they end up dividing the arcs and how much the break points and names differ from previous official sources.

Based on the pagecount, it looks like chapters 1 - 22 in the first volume, ending with Gaimon's island.
If this all comes from the lenght of the story being 100 vol. deep and the new readers struggling to buy all volumes, I still think the best solution would be to go digital. I'm speaking from my lens without never reading much about Japan's current financial situation or reading habits, but I imagine that smartphones must be in most homes - or, at least, most homes that would spend part of their income in mangas anyway.
