I am in the process for finding a new apartment, and I want to make sure the apartment is quiet, well I mean basically the neighbor's don't play loud bass music that I can hear through the ceiling and next door, and possibly downstairs? What would be some good questions to ask the property manager about this? Also, a good friend of mine mentioned that it be good to ask the neighbors themselves. I just struggle very much socially and I don't want to say the wrong things or give the wrong impression, hence asking for advice and do things right this time.

You could ask general questions regarding security and amenities, how quiet the area is, and so on to start. Then you ask how is the coexistence between the residents? Do they usually have parties? Are there problems between residents?

Alright, thank you. I might have to write it down on a index card so I don't flop it by accident, too. (I'm pretty nervous about it, but I can do this.)

I never got to update this but I moved on October 8, 2022! The new apartment is great - it's quiet and I have a landlord that cares! I also have a washer and dryer inside my apartment too at no extra charge! I'm so happy about this new place!
