there's a large number of gameplay vids on youtube and the fighters cast seems to be quite unexpected (Gan Fall of all people, mygohd).
it's kinda funny that they use some art from the japanese official website and yet it's an unofficial release.
it seems better than a lot of the official games, imo slurps some tea
It was titled as One Piece The Bloodline for quite some time.
I'm not expecting a global release. These mobile games made for China tend to stay in China.
Holy crap, a One Piece product that doesn't use the time skip designs as their marketing?
Ace movement/moveset looks like it comes from OPW4…
So fire burns lava in this game.:ninja:
Everything in this game recycles every piece of art, asset or 3D model we've already seen. No voices, stock sound effects. I hope this never makes it outside of China.
I just checked it for the first time. Gotta be honest looks more than than any of the crappy games that One Piece has been cursed with all those years. Is it perfect? Hell no, but at least it looks like it has a base one could expand upon and build an actually decent game. Also I just love that it's using the animes original soundtrack.
Checked up some more recent gameplay and I'm dumbfounded by how big the whole thing is! The youtuber I watched only covered the Main Story of it (from Windmill Village to Drum) so I didn't see much of the exploration part of it - and it seems to be huge on it's own. What I liked the most is that they aren't cutting any corners: we have Little Garden for the first time in a game since maybe forever? Marianne (Miss Golden Week) as a sub-boss, Nami's brief fight against the Buggy Pirates to set Luffy free from the iron cage is not left out, Foxy, Mr.1 and freaking Gan Fall as playable characters and a LOT of non-fighting characters poping up to say something.
It's in mandarim so it's hard to understand big chunks of it's technical parts but most story beats are just there. It seems to have a lot of sub-quests in each island which I think is very endearing. A mix between fight and sand-box exploration game seems to be the receipt for a really impressive OP game, and this one doesn't stop at that throwing in PvP, dungeons (Impel Down functions as a dungeon basically), lots of collectables (fishing, ships, characters), skill trees (kinda like how they did in Skyrim) …I def want a console version of it.
Another chinese game I'd like to see in a western release is this:

Wait what? That's all in there? I've just seen the PvP component so far and thought that was it. I know that it pales compared to a PC or console game but for a mobile game it's actually quite good PvP. Also the graphics and the original soundtrack just spoke to me. But there's a main story mode too? Amazing. Seriously taking the mobile version as a template could really make for a good game if expanded on further to take advantage of concole and PC gaming.

Looks good to considering that this is yet another mobile game. I'm really sad to see how OP, the record selling manga is getting half assed treatment in both anime and game development. But then again business decisions in Japan lack any common sense. I've learned this the hard way after moving here.
I am really upset chinese zone keeps getting new fighting games while we are stuck on the vary basic Treasure Cruise, a candy crush rip-off and Bounty. They even retreated Thousand Storm.
I'm more disapointed that we have no new game announced yet
mobile games aren't my forté SPECIALLY when they are gacha
