@Greg:
Stuff
Before I reply, let me just say thanks for clearing that up for me.
I read your twitter page fairly often and when the copyright thing happened on Twitter, I didn't remember you talking about it openly. I'm sorry if you did and I just didn't see it. I can also acknowledge that discussion like these, ones that require or have extended back-and-forth, aren't something you can do on a platform like that.
I also didn't really disagree with your overall point, just the way it was conveyed. And I personally wouldn't consider myself to be a hater of your work. I know that being between the fandom and the actual creators can put you in a spot (my bad if my assumptions are completely wrong here) where you can't say or answer certain stuff.
I also didn't really consider the fact that your name and connections particularly bring out that side of Twitter-bots or even on this website so I guess it's understandable why you particularly react like that.
What's also fair is approaching me and asking, "Hey, what did you mean by that?"
That's fair.
However, just from my own perspective, you are lot more open on this website or this section then you are on Twitter. Now it could be because of the platform as Twitter just isn't made for long or in-depth posts but this is what I have seen. Just now, I questioned and bluntly criticized your communication and you explained your side pretty well. It's a shame that you weren't able/didn't get a chance to do that on Twitter. Otherwise, I think this "drama" (and lets be real, Twitter is basically full of drama nowadays for one reason or another) wouldn't have gotten as bad as it did.
With that said, I can also acknowledge that Ajay didn't exactly start the conversation to ask you to clarify but rather attacked you out of nowhere. It does seem like he wasn't particularly interested in your side and more like just waiting to start something up. So I apologize for jumping in quickly and forming my opinion without properly understanding the context of it.
If you don't mind me asking, why don't you link this thread or a particular post from this thread on twitter? I think it would help to get rid of the image that certain people on Twitter promote when it comes to your content.
And more on the topic; would you say that the art commission thing can work for analysis videos that may want to talk about certain elements in further detail?
