Harvey Bautista (age 16 years), He has been nominated for TV Best New Male TV Personality, and PMPC Star Awards for TV Best Comedy Actor. I don't know much about him.
Marcel Ruiz (age 16 years), he is in a Netflix series. don't know if he can do the action scenes justice.

True but I'd rather have actors in the actual range of the characters unless they age them up. That always bothered me seeing Actors in their like 30's playing high school age characters but with a story like OP they could get away with it but i'd prefer actors at least in their early 20's
My biggest concern is how they are gonna adapt the whole East Blue Saga into 10 episodes unless the writers took their cue from the Episode of East Blue and Episode of Nami specials while incorporating some scenes from the manga aswell

I would cut Baratie and Usopp down to 1 episode each, leaving some time for Laboon and Whiskey Peak at the end.
Maybe Usopp arc could be done in one ep, since its a weak arc, maybe they can pack the episode with action and be done with it.
But Baratie is long, and has Mihawk in it, I think it needs 2 episodes.
Because Baroque Works is foreshadowed in the pilot episode and it would be sloppy to not have them show up by the end of the season.
They can appear ploting or foreshadowed on the Loguetown chapter
I think stopping as they enter the grand line will hype season 2, as we will have the misterious grand line to discover
Also, you can foreshadow stuff in season 1 that will pay off in later seasons, Oda himself does it all the time.

Gal Gadot is too old and more importantly, too expensive and too busy. She's in high demand, and traditionally an "in and out" film actor. Not a television actor.
When thinking realistically about casting, remember that these actors have lives and some of them typically will choose movies over TV to prevent having such a long commitment per season. They have to be actors that are willing to ride the duration of the series.

I know you're being sarcastic but I wouldn't be too sure considering Oda is the Executive producer on it OP is his baby he's gonna make sure this is done right, I want as much diversity as possible in the cast but i'm sure they know they gotta appease the anime fanbase if they were to cast let's say a "black" Nami man some of the fandom would do nuts… don't need that type of drama

I don't think any "switching" is necessary as there's already Usopp. Brook is also a good one (if the series gets that far).
If they do race switch one of the strawhat women, I'd rather have it be Nico Robin, if just to escape the "ginger curse".

I know him from the tv-show Shooter. He played a supreme court candidate, for a rogue "agency/institution"known as Atlas, in which he was a General/field soldiers for black operations, and an nemesis for the lead actor Bob Lee Swagger (in the present) and his father (in his past)

As someone who works in the industry, that's a projected date if anything. They're aiming for it, they're putting pieces in place for that, and if there wasn't a global pandemic it would be a safe bet to say that they could make that reality if not give or take two or three days on either side. But because of the pandemic, anything can happen.
Also, if he's being looked at for the show I see Michael O'Neill in a Marine role, Sengoku, Kong, etc. rather than Zeff. He would work for Zeff too, but I'm holding out for Mike from Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul.

Is it too much to ask for almost everyone involved to read and/or watch the story being adapted? I'm guessing it won't go past EB Saga and that isn't much imo. When I say those involved, I mean directors, writers, design team and even actors. Just seen an actor campaigning for the Zoro role with not the handle, but the blade in their mouth.

They have the 10 scripts of the 10 chapters of the first season, and if the leaked script of chapter 1 was real, it is quite good. Apparently, it will be all east blue, reverse mountain with a little bit of hints to Barroke works arc to leave something for season 2.
All of the involved are quite respectful of Oda and the project itself.
