Sonia looks like Athena from Ace Attorney. Presumably she's busy doing part time stuff to make ends meet until Ace Attorney 7 is properly announced.
That was a low blow fam.

Everyone keeps oohing and aahhing over the new sheep, but dude, have you all forgotten Mareep?
That's too funny, lol.
I like shield wolf! Just… I wrote sword wielding wolf into a story years ago before everyone else started doing it! I'm attached to the idea.
But if EVERYONE is going for sword I might do shield after all. Defender tank really is my style.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who likes these legendaries. No, they're not the best, but I like them.
I can't wait for retailers to be fresh out of Pokemon Swords but the Shields are fully stocked.
This is why we do first-day shipment pre-order from Amazon.

Which kinda sorta doesn't look like a sheep with those weird horn like ears and tail.
I was hoping to get the evolutions for the starters but I'm still happy with what we got
The giant pokemon battles are gonna be interesting… Adds a new layer of strategy to the battles

For those who don't want to read the leaks in its entirety and just want some specific information:
- New pokémon:
! Pamper, an electric corgi.
DONE!!! I'M IN!!!! Take my money now Gamefreak!!! Instant favorite new pokemon and will be a main on my team. LUNA YOU'RE A POKEMON NOW!!!!!!
Yes I happen to have that particular kind of animal in my household. She runs my life.
I liked the legends, they kind of feel like part of a legendary trio they don't have that "majestic" vibe, but I like both designs.
! Seems the Chipmink appears in the trailer.
! I hope the leaker wasn't trolling about my boy Farfetch'd getting an evolution.
I hate to admit, but I'm starting to like Swordoggo. Well, maybe not like, but at least "not dislike".

If they follow the same schedule as for the last generations, we should only get the starters middle stage in october, late september at best.
I actually like the legendaries, too. It probably helps that they're wolves. They're not the absolute best designs ever made, but as far as legendaries go (and then if we want to add UBs… LOL. UBs were terrible.) they're among the better designs, IMO.
They showed more in the second trailer for SW/SH than in the first four trailers for S/M. Gamefreak is really going all out.
There are some pretty lame legendaries but I can't think of a worse pair of box legendaries. Gen 5 probably comes the closest. 4 also aesthetically doesn't do it for me. It doesn't help that Solgaleo, while not really high on my list, does the "big beast with a giant mane" thing 100x better. I've seen people call these new ones "overdesigned," and I think that's a good term for it. There are other legendaries/UBs that I don't really like, but I can usually still appreciate what they were going for despite it not being my style. Here it's just ugh.
I hate nostalgy bias as much as the next person, but legendaries are probably the only area I actually think Pokémon got progressively worse as time went by.
Mewtwo had a perfect design for a legendary, it is simple, mysterious and at the same time menacing. Gen 2 and 3 still had great legendary designs (except Groudon), even though I don't think any of hem work as well as Mewtwo.
Then from Gen 4 onwards the drop in quality is noticeable. There are still some good ones from time to time, but with the ridiculous amount of legendaries we got from that point on it remains a small percentage.

I think it's more complicated than that. Gen IV has more bad legendaries than the rest of the gens put together. I think the Box legendaries for V VI, and VII were all pretty strong designs, and they all had strong designs for the third legends as well. I don't recall any terribly bad designs in Gen V or VI's legendaries, either, though I know lots of people hate the genie's and some hate the musketeers. As for these two new ones, Zacian is really growing on me a lot. I think it looks weird from the side, but the more I've seen it from different angles, the more it makes sense. Zamazenta would look 10 times better if the side shield part was to the side more often than not, instead of just barely sagging when it isn't glowing. Overall, I don't think they're bad designs, but they're closer to Gen IV than what came before.
Also Groudon is great.
Edit: Here's the perspective of Zamazenta that looks awesome
!

Lunala would like to have a word with you.
I think both doggies are hideous, but sword doggie looks better in official art and shield doggie looks better in CGI. Shieldboy looks like the chest piece to a giant mecha, so let’s hope these doggies and the third good boy all fuse together for giant enemy action.
I look at the legendaries and to me they share a lot in common with the lion trio from G/S.
I do like that they are practically the same creature. I only wish that it was somewhat better.
Anyone else have the random thought that Zamazenta = magenta and Zacian = cyan?
Lunala would like to have a word with you.
Xerneas and Yveltal especially…

Spoilers about leaks below:
! The bad team is supposed to be called Team Yell, which some believe references the color yellow. Cyan/Magenta/Yellow
Suddenly the world makes sense! Even if it's a theoretical and possibly false one. It would kinda make up for the mediocre team name too.
Looks like the washed out 3DS colors are gone
I think the shader could use a bit more work. I like the cel-shading outline present on its chest (under the main reddish protrusion) on the 3DS version. It would really help add some depth to some rather…blobby looking shapes. See : Corviknight's feathers vs armor, Sonia's ponytail and Leon's cape decorations.

(except Groudon),
Sure you didn't mispell Kyogre?
Who was introduced in the same game that gave us Wailord?
Lunala would like to have a word with you.
Lunatone's more attractive twin.

I expect to see some Rebell Yell and Yell Dead Cell memes out of this.
Kyogre is probably my all-time favorite legendary…

Are they actually still using the same models they introduced in XY, just with a higher quality shader? It makes perfect sense that they would have done really high res models to future proof stuff back then given how large the critter count has gotten, and that the 3DS could barely handle, but still crazy if so.
The only case where that's really a shame is Feroseed, whos gen 5 sprite had a cool spinning animation, but totally lost it in gen 6.
Game Freak remembers the horrors of the Stadium 1 models and has vowed never to let it happen again.
The slow death of ever 3DS was considered acceptable losses.

Yes they are the 3DS models, all Pokemon models for 3DS were in HD and then retrofitted to make work on the 3DS
Me and my friend decided we'd get the opposite game of each other so we could trade with each other and collect them all, so it really worked out that I liked the legendary pokemon from sword more and he prefers the the pokemon shield legendary
Secret squirrel mon spotted.
I swear to god if Wooloo's shiny isn't a black sheep…..

Wooloo seems to be the winner of this batch in terms of fanart. Lots of art for it, not much for the others.
Not counting all the porn the poor professor assitant girl is being subjected to.
I do like that they are practically the same creature.
Really? That's my least favorite aspect. They have less differences than some Alola forms.
I skipped Let's Go, so I'm not sure what to think about the pokemon models out in the wild. I hope you won't have to combo-catch things to make rarer pokemon appear. I don't want to have to make pointless catches just to fill out the pokedex.
I'm gonna be incredibly disappointed if there isn't an option to just let me use 3 AIs for those giant pokemon raid fights. Absolutely no interest to connect with people to do it.
Much like Z moves, I'll do everything in my power to never induce kaiju-ness. I'd rather beat all these new leaders, rivals, and the champ without using their gimmick. I will look down on them and disrespect them like I did the Sun/Moon people.
Nothing new I have particular interest in making part of a team yet. The legendaries are meh, about the quality of the gen 5 deer and pony group. Legendaries don't really influence any decisions for me though, so doesn't really matter to me.
Kyogre is probably my all-time favorite legendary…
That's a great one. I think mine has always been Lugia.

I don't know why'd you want to use AI companions since often times AI companions are definitely not going to be any better than using playing with actual human players. Though if the bulk of the Raid's are anything like Xenoverse 2's (barring two specific ones) it won't really matter.

I'll take shitty AI any day that is set up to do some kind of support (heal / screens / status moves) vs. some random kid who Dynamaxes immediately on their level 40 Pidgey.

Damn straight. Although Xerneas is a close second.
Hell, X/Y everything is a close second to Gold/Silver.

Awww, now I want that to be the shiny form. :)
I feel a little bad for Wooloo. This is probably the most fame it's ever going to get, because I assume when the game comes out it'll be a common Pokemon like Ratata. I could be wrong, and I think I'd like to be wrong, but I feel that's what going to happen. I'm fearing that it's best time will be right before we can catch it.

You wonder about that. Mareep was awesome because it became a kickass Electric pokemon, but it lost the cutesy sheep thing by the last evo.
Tell that to Talonflame. It already has fluffy as one of it's base abilities.
I just noticed it's nose is a little heart. :ninja:
We are apparently getting more, NEW Sword & Shield info today during Nintendo's E3 2019 direct.
That might entail a few new Pokemon, new environments whatever. But new info confirmed incoming today.
Nothing of note… except the water gym leader will be playable in the E3 floor demo.
Her name is Nessa.
Odds on plesiosaur pokemon…?
Can't watch it, but according to Serebii the only new information is Gym Leader Nessa.
Reminder the leak from a while ago mentioned her as well.
And it seems we got our Ness reference in the water gym leader, so I assume we'll not get a loch ness monster pokemon (specially since Drednaw is her flag pokemon).
You can get a sack of potatoes item, presumably to ward off the famine.
So if I just understood correctly, you'll be able to transfer all Pokémon Bank mons to Pokémon Home, but you'll only be able to use them in Sword/Shield if they're already in the Galar dex. That's not the worst thing in the world, I guess. I hope my saved BP still does something.
