Didn't One or Murata said that Gyoro was stronger than Tatsumaki in terms of psychic power or I'm inventind it? … So hype about this fight
It's Geryuganshoop that was stated to have better control of his psychic powers then Tatsumaki.

While all the heroes are risking their lives, Genos is doing the dishes. LoL.
Wow, Rover actually survived THIS Punch?! :O
The King-Picture made my Day. Lol
While all the heroes are risking their lives, Genos is doing the dishes. LoL.
Sadly, he's broken over half of them in the process so even this is a losing battle for him.
This is as good as ever.
Looking forward to Tatsumaki's showdown next
Just wanted to point out to anyone who still doesn't know… One is back... chapter 110 of the webcomic is out... HYPE. MAD HYPE. Can't believe this is happening...
By mistake I posted it in the webcomic thread, thread but here I go again.
Looks fine.
Oh I'll restate what I said in the other thread. I like the song. The visuals are a downgrade by a lot.
Just watched the First Episode of Season 2. The Animation wasnt half Bad then I'd expected. Especially the Toilettescene was nearly Madhouselevel imo. Really Good Pacing and very funny. Cant wait for the upcoming Episodes!
Shits gonna get bad, the PV trailer was mostly the first episode which doesn't say anything good
Opening and first ep tend to have a good amount of budget poured into them, so we'll have to see how things go from here, too.
I noticed that they added anime original scenes when Genos tells Saitama about calling the manufacturer and later on Fubuki talking with his group about Saitama.
Well I was pleasantly surprised even though I was prepared for worst…still its just a first episode, a pilot, but I can at least be little optimistic for the rest of season.
So many pessimists, lol.
ONE PUNCH-MAN 149 RAW
Translation is already out.

Who draws the chibi form of Tatsukaki: One or Murata?
Murata.
Hopefully Season 3 is at the end of another anime studio, you would need Bones to animate the MA Invasion Arc.
Yeah I don't think we'll se Satima vs Orochi.
! Think Tatsumaki will lift up the MA base next chapter.
Everything in the redraw is done by Murata given that even his low quality characters are still higher quality than ONE's lmao
Who draws the chibi form of Tatsukaki: One or Murata?
As if One could draw chibis of that quality…
Btw, guys... Captain Mizuki is something else...
Unless Garou wakes up, Orochi and Gyoro are completely doomed, if Saitama doesnt finish off Orochi, Tatsumaki will probably do it due to Saitama nerfing him.
King will defeat Orochi, no doubt
Now I’m not one for fanservice/ecchi stuff in manga, just not a fan. Then Murata comes along and…hoo boy, he’s pretty good at drawing huh?
I didnt even think saitama vs orochi would happen this soon. I was hoping we'd see him vs Tats or him vs Garou again but now he'll be offscreened or one-hit…sigh...
Sometimes I think I've gotten used to Murata's drawings. Then those chapters happen.
This isn't god-tier art anymore. It's something above. Like Elder God -tier or something.
By the way, do we know how many episodes are planned for season 2?
12 episodes, up to Elder Centipede fight.
@Long:

I really doubt we'll see a fight between them a punch from balddy at most with Orochi surviving it.
God the artwork in this manga series is sooooooo good, just wish they kept the story closer to the original webcomic
Saitama will end up in Cthulhu's stomach until the end of the arc
That would be an interesting change
! But then Flashy Flash would also need to end up being there and it means the one who beats Orochi would be Piri Piri Prisoner lol
To be honest, the only reasons the additions to the manga seems so tedious is because of the infrequent nature of updates. I'm certain the
entirety of this arc will be just as good as the webcomic version,if not better, when all of it is out (although topping the final battle might be tough, not gonna lie.)
Action packed episode!
The anime keeps delivering. That centipede had one of the best CGI animation I've ever seen lately.
I forgot how dumb Viz could be with name translating or partial translations
I was reading the summary for volume 17 and saw the name "Centichoro" …. I thought that was a character I forgot about! ... his name is elder centipede viz! (but I guess when it comes to viz, it's all according to keikaku)
Yes really happy with season 2 so far loving every single moment. Anyone knows whats the worldwide success of the anime currently?

lol, keep denying and being blind dudes. You deserve the shittiest anime quality, that's for sure.
I really don't get this stubbornness, this obstinacy in defending this mess… are you really satisfied with season 2? Really?? How??? Jeez, in the first two episodes they even hid the faces when someone was talking so they didn't have to animate the mouths moving! So they could show just a still image of something in the background... it's absurd that some people don't notice this! Or that they're ok with this! Are you even aware of the mess season 2 was during production?? They really can get away with everything these days... Luckily, as we all know, at least story and characters are amazing... but i really DON'T envy anime only watchers... they're really missing a lot, poor souls...
While it's true that it is getting better, this is far behind the average anime, it's not even worth calling this "decent", or "accettable". And for something like One Punch Man, where the fights must be spectacular? Nah, this anime doesn't work at all, i'm sorry. Tons of still images, ugly characters design, weird coloration...
And all this for greediness, because they couldn't wait another 6 months, because they thought the "hype" could have gone down, kinda like what happen with season 2 of AoT, so the profit could have gone down too... except we were already waiting for almost 5 years, another 6 months of wait to have Madhouse and the director Shingo Natsume back for OPM season 2 would have been nothing. And with the same budget for season 1, same director and same animation studio (and the same indipendent animators, since they follow Natsume), we would have had the same EXACT quality of season 1.
Ahhh.... oh well, what is done is done, let's hope they get it and season 3 will be better....
Wow, triggered much? Have you ever heard about people having different opinions. You can insist as much as you want, your opinion of the anime isn't more valid than ours, keep that in mind.

What a fine connoisseur of Anime you are.
hot take
season 2 is not as good both in animation and pacing

Did you even read my post? Please, read it until the end, i want you to understand what i mean and the reason why this season was made like this. I don't think you can call that "opinion", it's just a fact, tell me why it isn't. Why don't you want better quality? Did you make this anime? Is this why you're so keen in defending this mess? Seriously, explain me. Why do you like it so much? Nekketsu, i see you have an avatar of Kill la Kill, so you should know how good quality anime should be. Go watch that, and then watch these first 4 episode of OPM. Tell me how you feel…
Now, we are not asking for amazing quality like OPM season 1 or Kill la Kill, but let's be honest here, still images and hiding faces when they talk, this is not even One Piece filler quality.... please, explain me why i am wrong. I remember the good ol' days when we considered garbage the animation during the Naruto vs Pain fight... now look at what we're watching, saying "oh yeah, it's pretty good".... when the anime is basically a lesser version of the manga...
We are the clients, and they are the producers, we should REQUIRE better quality from the stuff that they sell and we buy, or we'll stop buying it. They're not "gifting" us season 2 of OPM, we are BUYING it. We have every reason in the world to complain. Understand that, please.
Season 2's pacing is pretty $$$$ so far. Fights have been entertaining as well.
Has there been a slight dip quality from S1? Sure, but it's a far cry from unwatchable. Very entertained thus far.
So far season 2 hasn't been the tire fire it was hyped up to be but it is a very noticeable downgrade (which looks literally and figuratively even worse coming directly off of Mob's second season) and the production is certainly not in a very good place (you should never need five chief animation directors on a single episode and all but two of the season's stand-out scenes so far have been drawn by a single animator). Fortunately ONE's still a good enough writer and the artwork has been mostly competent enough outside of episode 2 to carry the material so far for me, but those who check in purely for the eye candy are definitely going to be disappointed.
No one expected it to live up to Madhouse oustanding animation. Whoever believed that lie was in for disappointment. Yet the finished producted has turned out to be (so far) much better than what the denialists predicted.
[…]but those who check in purely for the eye candy are definitely going to be disappointed.
As someone with "medium" standards I agree. Watched the first episode and wasn't disgusted or anything, but this is also not worth my time. I would rather re-read a few chapters worth of Murata's godmode drawings in those 20 minutes.
The second season is pretty meh, but also the source material isn't that great in comparison. Everybody complained about the martial arts tournament and the amount of "filler" (aka everything that wasn't in ONE's version, no need to have that discussion again). However…
The quality is inferior to season 1, with overuse of cheap animation techniques such as lines and colors instead of backgrouns during action scenes, a lot of cuts and zooms or repetitive motions. It feels like they've been strugling to keep the quality of the manga fights instead of improving on them, but I'll wait until I see Garou vs Metal Bat before judging on that.
Just watched the first episode. Really not feeling it. The action is flashy, but the flashiness is used to hide the details and distract you while the scene is skipped clumsily. Not enough that they cut the flow, but they even ended up cutting up that song that always plays when Genos is fighting.
It looked a lot better in first season. Honestly, didn't expect it would be such a noticeable downgrade. Direction is the worst part. Everything, starting from King appearing and interacting with bystanders, looks sloppy and hastily put together. As if they were doing check listing by manga panels. They end up reducing the impact of certain scenes. By far the worst example is the reveal of Saitama blocking the bird monster. We see the bird smashing into building and the next scene has Saitama holding it in place. No pause, no transition, no impact.
So, not too hyped about seeing all those awesome action sequences now. Can already see them butchering Garou's fight in the woods with multiple cuts and zooms.
