Are you saying for just Shounen Jump? Or every Jump magazines in Shueisha?
-
Jump Square has Blue Exorcist, Owari no Seraph, Twin Stars Exorcists and Platinum End(?).
Young Jump has Kingdom, Terra Formars(?) and Tokyo Ghoul: Re.
And Ultra Jump has…Jojo. And No Guns Life, I guess?
Yeah, at least the last two could use a new hit series.

For Jump SQ's case, you only labelled 4 and that is clearly not enough to lead the magazine (unless it has really big hit series like Shingeki no Kyojin).
For Young Jump's case, it didn't produce any new hit series for 2 years.
For Ultra Jump, it only has Jojo (No Guns Life isn't really hit series).
So, Shueisha definitely not finding any new hit series for at least 1 year in any of their Jump magazines.
-
Seems more like Shonen Jump is banking on series like Kimetsu no Yaiba and Promised Neverland exploding in sales with their animes (and possible WNL/Dr Stone also) instead of just recycling new series trying to find an instant hit (like MHA, Haikyuu).

I never said that Jump SQ shouldn't have new hit series, but the last two seems the best to start it.
But I do think Jump SQ should be the priority now that I a, thinking better. How is Moryart hanging?

I know, but I think Jump SQ. also desperately needs new hit series as much as Young Jump and Ultra Jump since SQ doesn't really have big names like at least Young Jump has (Kingdom, Tokyo Ghoul, Terra Formars). Especially since SQ still hasn't find the new replacement for To Love-Ru's place.
For Moriarty's case, its tank sale is increasing, but very slowly (I think it is still selling half of what Platinum End is selling). So, it needs an anime to have extra big push.
-
Oh shit. I forgot Golden Kamuy.

It's still feel wrong to have forgot.

It is announced that Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai (series from Young Jump) going to have an anime.

@Kaizou:
Actually, since Dr. Stone, they have failed to find new hit series and that has been a year now (even I include Robot). So, Shueisha (and Shounen Jump) isn't getting what mostly they need.
Plus, as I said, Shueisha in general not getting any new hit series for at least 1 year (I'm not just talking about Shounen Jump). So, unless people are saying we shouldn't really care about other magazines except Shounen Jump, Shueisha should really consider about what to do with this situation. Just staying happy with their current situation will not lead good future.
Your argument makes no sense since none of the newer Kodansha and Shogakkun titles are in the top 50 so what would copying their methods accomplish? In fact MHA, BC, TPN, Haikyuu are much newer than 7DS and Attack On Titan. Shueisha is the only publisher with a title from most of their sister tie in magazines on there.

They just started their method like only 1 year (remember that most of them don't have anime yet), and you really expected them to be included in top 50 like only 1 year to 6 months of serialization? I don't think so.
Plus, I'm talking Shueisha generally not producing new hit series in any of their magazines for like last 1 year (I'm saying that I'm not only talking about Shounen Jump). I'm NOT talking about Shueisha isn't having any hit series right now.
The series which you provided are series which are older than 1 year old, and my argument is that they didn't find any new hit series on last 1 year which those series aren't included. Like do you think Young Jump not having new hit series for 2 years aren't really big of deal since YJ has Kingdom and Tokyo Ghoul (also remember that TG is currently in final arc)?

Now I join the "get well soon Ashihara sensei" team, on the "I want more world trigger" side of the camp.
Does that mean you recently caught up to it and now want more?
-
Indeed, I had chapters 60+ on the phone for a long while. It was pretty good, I got some complaints, but it was a very good series.
-
Yeah, it's not easy to get into at first, the art is pretty rough around the edges, but there's some kind of charm about it that just makes you want to keep on reading.
-
Now I have time to complain:
- I dislike Jin's sideffect. The whole "I know the future te he" is a dumb power to give a character that can battle so well as him. The power is too strong, and gives border too much of a free advantage.
- The first battles, the scorpion (the shapeshifting knife) was just weirdly drawn, like I didn't bought that it moved, it just didn't feel dynamic.
- I feel like if I didn't binge it, the "let's talk strategy for a chapter" and the "let's comentate about the volume long fight that we just had" chapters would have been dull, but in a binge we get glorious Eggplant Don or whatever that was.
-
What I don't like about it is that it has way too many characters. That's why I am not able to get back to it yet because I feel like I will need to reread the whole things to remember the names they mentioned.
-
Oh, that's right, that is a minus, specially in a black and white medium. Just a quick look at the openings showed me that most squads had their own color, I'd think that makes things easier.

YES!!!!! Jujutsu Kaisen in 5th place!!! I knew it, the manga has been way interesting to be cancelled like that, please a color page now.
But man, the editors are cruel, they didn't even need to cancel Ziga since they had a open slot in the magazine for the new series, unless are actually 2 new series.
Yuuna really resurrected in the rankings…
-
Well, Ziga is pretty awful, though. It was on par with U19 or Red Sprite as one of the most cringeworthy manga I've read in the VIZ Weekly Shonen Jump.

What was Ziga about?
