Sanji blocking Daifuku's strike was cool and all, and I hope there's more where that came from, but talk about that timing! Had he failed just once more, the current Next Crewmate discussion would be over in an instant! Missed opportunities, Oda.
I also really like Luffy's reaction to Judge trashing Sanji. It was pretty much the most Luffy-ish reaction possible and honestly I couldn't have imagined a better response. And honestly, how much of his fighting stuff will really matter once Big Mom busts a fat nut over that cake?
(After I posted this, I did think…Judge probably won't like hearing about the cake, considering that otherwise the BMPs would meet their doom...but that's when it's time to remember that he's a shitty person/character whose opinion doesn't matter.)

Luffy's exchange with Judge was all at once one of the funniest and sweetest things I've seen in years. In spite of some reservations about the escape section, I think Tottoland is going to go down as one of my favourite storylines, and this chapter has gone a long way to cement that. I'm looking forward to it being done so I can do a reread.

I think either he will see it or something else will happen that will prove his ideals to be wrong. The fact oda showed us this with judge appearing i cant help that he is setting up just that. It would be lame and dissappointing and unsatisfying if sanji doesnt prove his family member wrong.

All I could of think of during Judge's monologue in this chapter was him crying at the tea party lol. This guy is one of the most hard-headed characters in the series and acts like a child. At least Niji gave a shit eating grin to show he was sarcastically berating Sanji. With Judge, it's like he doesn't even care that he's contradicting himself as he's asking Luffy a senseless question. We don't necessarily need Judge's reaction to the cake any time soon; Luffy sort of gives the exclamation on Judge's feelings in his own way which was already apparent from Ichiji/Niji/Yonji coming to help in the last chapter. Reiju would act on her own but we haven't seen enough to be sure of the other 3.

Surely since Katakuri and the others are dead and/or there is so much foreshadowing to believe Blackbeard would show up there any time soon, this is a totally correct question to ask. These are definitely the only two options of what could possibly happen.

Unless he has some spy out of the blue then no one outside of Totto Land knows what's happened. By the time Teach finds out, Big Mom is healthy again and that's a pretty good deterrent even for someone like him.

Regarding Morgan's reporting the events, I wonder how high Luffy's bounty will rise this time. I thought him reaching 1 billion would be only after the Wano arc but I'm not so sure anymore.
Regarding Sanji, I still think that the end of the arc will have one scene of the Vinsmokes eating a meal cooked by Sanji. That's I'm looking forward the most right now since I know he unfortunately won't get a fight until next arc.

Ok now I'm with Uniaka Ikuzakas, Mont'dore should have tried to lock away Morgans some time sooner. Even if the Straw Hats managed to get captured that still would have been big news considering all that happened. Even still, if Morgans and Stussy weren't allowed to leave this news would surely get out. Lots of guests and 3 enemy crews that are about to be free in the open ocean. Absalom might already be out selling to a rival paper this very moment, lol.
Loved this chapter. Even though I know the Tottoland citizens will be ok I still feel their pain. They are just waiting for what they assume is the inevitable.
If the Straw Hats, Capone and Judge aren't witness to the greatness that is cake thats going to be really weird to me. Looking forward to how this all goes down.

Nah, he was shown earlier this arc when Jinbe was speaking to the Sun Pirates. I just simply forgot.

Well I'm really happy that Bege's ship got destroyed by Big Mom. At least there was actual consequence to the chase.
At first I thought Luffy was using he's newly advanced CoO to tell that judge was basically bullshitting but then I realized that it was just a brilliant character moment for Luffy.
I wonder if we'll have closure between Sanji and his family before the arc ends.
Carrot nuzzling against Luffy was just awesome to see. I think she's the only character so far whose ever done that(nami has only ever briefly hugged luffy).
I really liked the citizens of Puff Island calling out Chiffon for bringing BM to them.

It was a good chapter, love the ending panel where Wadatsumi and the Sun Pirates coming in to save the day and I was hoping to see Judge's eyebrows but nope, Oda not gonna show it to us…sigh...
Also, Goldberg's design looks dope and I'm going to call it and hoping that the last fifth member of the New Giant Warrior Pirates is gonna be her.

Yeah, you're right, I think it would be a bit out of place for them to be adventuring alongside with these newcomers. I mean, it's the 'New' Giant Warrior Pirates, right? With a new generation of Giants who will carry on the legacy of the legendary pirate crew and so far, we only have 5 crew members, not sure if Hajrudin wanted to expand his crew but I'm sure he will once he returns back to Elbaf.
