@Chrior:
Plus, I just loved that page anyway, it doesn't matter how it is written. It was quite poetic. Oda scored some more points with me there.
This, I cannot argue with. My first comment way earlier in this thread was about how much I LOVE that page: The shared sentiment across between nakama in two completely different locations, both Strawhats showing "damage" because they've been working so hard for their crew's survival, the "you do what only you can do, and I'll do what only I can do" dichotomy! It's something special!

@Sirxxx, I was in transit so I was posting somewhat distracted and in a hurry. What I meant to say was that I understood what was what you liked about the MS translation and even though I found both translation to have their merits, because both are conveying the same message, I understand why the direct approach works. With both Sanji and Luffy having hit some lows during Whole Cake Island, the determinism on that page makes us cheer for them to overcome their current struggles.
On the other hand, the reason I say VIZ is more poetic is because it goes a step further. They not only focus on what happened or is happening to them, but how. With Luffy, he lied. He said he was fine but he was getting severely beaten. From that lie, Luffy know his crew will trust whatever he says. How could they not, you just need to look at Jimbe's resignation from Big Mom's crew to see what type of relationship the crew has with Luffy. So now that he lied, and they believed him, he has to beat Katakuri.
With Sanji I think it works even better. Sanji lost faith on the crew, a lot was on his plate, while the crew believed in him the entire time. Sanji, believed that he alone could solve the wedding and Big Mom's threat. By talking about the crew, the VIZ translation carries his growth. The fact that he wants to do right by his friends expectations, closes his character development nicely. The same reason why he left Chopper and Brooke at the coast, he had to regain his faith in them because they never stopped believing in him.
Oh no, wait he has to kick someone.

I am still waiting for Sanji's big apology scene and a feast. I am eager to see Luffy's response.
Okay, I can respect that. ESPECIALLY in regards to Luffy–I hadn't thought about the lie he told and perhaps that was what he was referring to. I actually think with Sanji, it works LESS, but that's because the story never gave Sanji a good reason to suddenly doubt his crew in the first place. But yes, this apology scene had better be a damn good one. I don't care about Luffy's response ("Sure, it's fine, where's the meat?!")--it's Zorro's response that's gonna be good! He doesn't let people off easy for leaving the crew. And even Sanji agreed with him back when they were talking about Usopp, so he'd better come correct now that he has to be humble and sit down.

I like how this was translated from Katakuri to Luffy: "You make it sound like this is bound to happen." If Luffy makes Katakuri trip because the latter doesn't know if Luffy is reading the future or not, I'll shamefully laugh my back to the floor.
Katakuri: "I'm gonna punch at him, but he's gonna move over there. I'd better punch over there too. But wait, now HE knows I'm gonna punch over there, so now I see him moving up there instead. No matter: I'll punch that way now! But wait! He just foresaw that! I guess I'd better…"
Ten minutes later
katakuri.asswhooping.exe has stopped. Please reboot your machine. Luffy strolls out of the mirror as the man who defeated a 1 Billion Berry Yonkou commander without even touching him. Morgans reports it as big news and Luffy's bounty skyrockets
