I enjoyed the first chapter but I'm not convinced that this kind of sport manga can become a huge hit in Jump. I hope I'm wrong.
Btw, I found it cool that it happens in the same universe than the dance manga. -
It was like a checklist of "everything you must do right on the first chapter of a new series"
It managed to introduce to us a whole team of characters with individual personalities, quirks, and relations without resorting to exposition dialog.
Exposition through actions and subtle depiction. Well done. -
If <the dancing="" manga="">managed to get to 10 volumes, with Ballroom dancing, I can see this getting successful. Staying in North America WSJ not though.</the>

I like the idea of a girl in a soccer team but I didn't really care much for the cast, I thought the action didn't flow well at all and all that high stakes drama over a training game was lol
-
The stakes were just the hype of the game, what do you mean with "high stakes"?
-
Was that coach a character in Sejui?

really liked the first chapter, very entertaining and I was engaged in the story so the +40 pages went by without me noticing
maybe I'm biased, since it also made me feel nostalgic about my old football days
not sure if this is done on purpose but the mc laughs off the idea of the heroine being ambidextrous, but he himself uses both of his legs just fine during the chapter
-
ch2 was cool
we are only in the second chapter but we had some nice characters' building moments without feeling rushed or anything
it was actually quit comfy!
-
ch3 was great as well, I'm loving the series so far
I want to see a longer match with less skipped details next
Also I want the coach to actually coach the players
teach the kids some tactics and give them instructions and stuff like that
right now he's just a motivational speaker
