Wished Arrival won best cinematography.
Oscars 2017
-
-
Literally every other movie in that list deserved it more.
-
La La Land takes its 2nd Oscar!
Come on, a movie about movies not taking cinematography? No chance.

Pllleeeeaaassseeee La La Land don't win Best Original Song!
Moana deserves an award!
-
-
And La La Land gets best score, of course
And best song too (though I thought Audition would've won), making it four for La La
-
Oh FUCK off La La Land. You did not deserve that one.
Best Original Song.
-
Yeeeeep. La La Land won a best song. I literally can't remember a single song from that movie, they were so bland and unmemorable.
-
Epilogue is the best song on that soundtrack, but boy is it fun watching this rage. I love it maggle, give it everything
-
Oh boy, the memorial segment. This is gonna be rough.
-
Epilogue was the shit.
Hayter's can hate, but I am happy that La La Land is winning all these awards.
-
Wait, did David Bowie not get a mention? What, all of a sudden Labyrinth doesn't exist?
-

Man Fisher had a smile.

Bowie was in last year.

The Zoo movie ?
-
I can't get enough of Jimmy Kimmel making an ass out of Matt Damon.
-
Jimmy Fallon is milking his "rivalry" with Matt Damon for all its worth and it's working! XD

If La La Land wins again I'm destroying something.

announces Manchester By The Sea for best screenplay
breathes sigh of relief
-
Reminder that we now live in a world where Suicide Squad won twice as many Oscars as Stanley Kubrick's entire creative output.
-
I'm just grateful it didn't go to La La Land.
-
Of course I should've seen Moonlight winning best adapted screenplay. I don't know how I messed that one up.
-
Moonlight deserved it.
-
Great speech .
-
How many is that now? Five? Let the sweep continue
-
More like Ha Ha Land!
-
Every La La Land victory fills me with disappointment.
-
And Casey Affleck won. No big surprise there.
-
-
Casey was what I expected.
-
La La Land winning all these awards:
-
Casey Afflecks subdued performance got the Oscar!?!?
I mean, you can convey a lot of emotion like that but it was…what's the word...bland!!!
At least compared to the other performances which offered a bigger variety and range of acting.
-
Not as bland and douchey as Gosling's. I'm content with Casey getting it.
-
Ok, Emma Stone is probably going to win this one. Realistically her biggest competition is Natalie Portman from 'Jackie'.
But if they're giving out Oscars for largely subdued performances then maybe Ruth Negga from 'Loving' is going to win. >_>
-
Emma Stone won Best freaking Actress. That is the sixth La La Land award.
-
I found Emma's performance really confusing. I thought that in her auditions she was supposed to be a bad actress, but apparently that wasn't true?
-
No big surprise here.
-
Hmm, maybe I need to see more of the movie, but Natalie Portman seemed…really bad. Like, she was doing a really bad Jackie O impression.
-
Not as bad as Meryl Streep looked in Florence Foster Jenkins.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Only Best Picture left. Please not La La Land.
-

It wasn't that she was a bad actress, but that nobody was willing to give her the time of day because of ignorant reasons. It wasn't supposed to be a coming-of-age movie when it came to skill, but climbing up the ladder in terms of acknowledgment. She was a good actress from the start.
-
-
I want to reiterate that I liked La La Land. No, they didn't deserve Best Song and probably didn't deserve Best Director but all in all I'm glad they did well tonight.
But no way in hell does it deserve or will it win Best Picture. It ain't happening.
-
La La Land has won most of the key awards that Best Pictures tend to win though. Doesn't guarantee anything but it'd be odd for the Best Picture to go to something that didn't pick up several side awards.
-
Get the fuuuuccckkk outta here!!!!
-
And La La Land wins.
Let the hate flow through you
-

Within all of the audition scenes, though, she can off as someone who didn't know what she was doing. A few of those auditions, she handed in really bad performances.

Once again Hollywood proves that for all it's posturing on racial inclusiveness, it can't resist white people movies that give it a hand job.
