The "small talk" chapter!
Boppins still up after a direct hit.
Finally, after all this build-up! :)
Sanji has come to his senses!
That is the best cover art ever.
Bobbins is the real MVP of this arc.. He finally let Sanji act like normal. Now he has to go for Luffy
Man, look at all those quirky looking characters.
Captain Crunch is best Son.
Sanji is still behaving until Bobbins like an idiot… Thinking if he will go to the wedding and kill himself everything will be fine.
LOL yeah Luffy would completely give no fuck about it and move on...
Decent chapter, the smash and grab of Brook should be very interesting.
what the hell?… so sanji was thinking about suicide (well... it's pratically suicide), in a way to save luffy?, the fuck?, so instead of choosing between his sister and Luffy, he choose the WORST possible outcome, to let himself AND his sister to be killed while doing nothing, i'm defending sanji this whole arc... but that phrase in page 16 didn't make any sense whatsover, even for Sanji's self sacrificial nature, at LEAST he came back to his senses, but seriously... that was stupid... what the hell Oda? not sure it it was just a set up for the bobbin scene and nothing more... or Oda really just went with that, well... at least he is gonna do something now
I also like the Panel with BM's Kids. And I already thought that the Moment Nami changed her clothes, but this Dress definetly is Pudding's.
BM treating Brook like an Accessoire could be a Problem for the SHs. His best Chance to escape right now is when the tamatebako goes up.
Something differemt… I'm glad that Jinbe lost no limb or anything...
But I doubt he can leave without any consequences... Even more with his open betrayal.
PS
No I do not thinkg he will die or something... Probably something to do with Fishmen Island
Normal translation of the title: "What am I doing?"
Mangastream's version of the title: "What the hell am I doing?"
Classic Mangastream with their classic excessive use of swearing.
I also like the Panel with BM's Kids. And I already thought that the Moment Nami changed her clothes, but this Dress definetly is Pudding's.
It is actually one of those guard's pants.
We should call Bobbin now Bro-bbin to thank him for bringing old Sanji back.
They talk so much on how BM crew is good at gathering information and they struggle to get accurate info of things happening on their own island. Shame.
It is actually one of those guard's pants.
IIRC she took it out of a box, didn't she?

To be fair, they can't really know what happens on the Mirror World.

They Need a Shakky in their Team. Remember how she combined Luffy's whereabouts after the war? Bou-rilliant!

My bad. It was one of the prisoners.

Yeah, I](http://mangastream.com/r/one_piece/852/3939/6 [/QUOTE) just looked it up too. The Thing in front of her looked like a chest box or sth.
But this still kinda Looks like the Dress Pudding was wearing at the start of this arc. I mean the Pants.
To be fair, they can't really know what happens on the Mirror World.
I won't hold them up for wrong info from Opera but silly mistakes like Sanji sleeping in his room still and depending on Brulee report since morning despite several sightings of Bropper and Carrot through the mirror. Seriously?
Well, I guess Brulée's explanation on the roulette does settle the debate on Big Mom being fair in her deals and her will to let others live by their own desires…
Oh, nice to have the chapter so early by the way

Disappointed tbh

Only the civilians saw Bropper and Carrot. I don't think you can get any conclusion from that.
So Bigmom admitted that Luffy is candid to finding OnePiece and even Compared him to Roger, whether intentional or not, she did.
Oh I noticed a pandaman on page 4. It is so rare I do…
Poor Brook, that won't be easy to take him back.
And yes, let's hope it is really the end of Sanji idiotic behaviour.

Corners were cut, that's for sure.
Oda could have potrayed Sanji's train of thought a little better. He should have been this decisive the moment he realized they are being betrayed. But I won't complain TOO much, since he finally came to his senses.
I also very much doubt the rest of the Vinsmokes are just getting hammered with booze without suspecting anything. I think BM has underestimated them just a little too much. Judge is an intelligent man and that probably goes for his genetically modified kids as well. Reiju is inexplicably missing? Meh, let's drink our asses off anyway?
'Sides, they've been panel-absent for too long and that's always suspicious.
To whoever thinks this arc is soon ending I really don't see a way out just yet. There is ceaser still unaccounted for… Don't think he will remain there, I suspect he will be liberated either intentionally or not and it will be hard to get Brooke escaping. Let the good times roll
Disappointed tbh
At some point earlier in the arc I would have been too, but the last few chapters held too many hints that she wasn't going to be that sort of character anymore.

And who better than Judge for the job ? Mad scientist duo roaming the seas, these two together would be up to no good for sure.
I'm not yet sure how I feel about Sanji's will to forfeit his life. On the one hand the execution with Bobbin was ok and it does really drive home the point that he had to reach the absolute low before rebounding. On the other hand, I find it slightly insulting to his character that neither Pudding's betrayal nor Reiju's push were enough to turn him around. I can't help but think this scene would have been better timed two chapters ago.
Huh,, interesting chapter. Nothing too shifting happened, but we got necessary exposition and confirmation from the BM Pirates about various things to start rounding out the story. Count Niwatori looks like Mihawk. And Sanji kicking Bobbin into a wall was pretty great.
I hope Luffy's tooth gap disappears once he eats Sanji's meal. We maybe even see the tooth growing back XD…
In response to the thing about Sanji sleeping in his room, I wonder if the Chess Soldiers can even see since their eyes don't seem to exist or are covered by a visor. Maybe they can only hear/feel other people's presence.

I also can't stop to think, that we might have a mexican stand-off between BM pirates and G66 during the wedding/end of wedding. Judge or one of his Kids already mentioned that they are dealing with pirates.
Papa Vinsmoke probably has the same plan as Big Mom to fire once the veil is lifted and Sanji will stop the bullet from killing Pudding even though she's evil and will kiss her anyway setting up redemption.
On the other Hand BM send barmaids to them. I can't speak for Judge, but Sanji's Brothers are as lovey-dovey as him when it Comes to pretty Girls. They won't be rejecting Drinks from those barmaids unless they are really clever.
Papa Vinsmoke probably has the same plan as Big Mom to fire once the veil is lifted and Sanji will stop the bullet from killing Pudding even though she's evil and will kiss her anyway setting up redemption.
Why? That makes zero sense for him to have the same plan. He wants Big Mom's help to conquer North Blue. He's not gonna shoot up Big Mom's family in the middle of their territory surrounded by their allies.
I wonder if the Vinsmokes' modified bodies allow them to drink to their heart's content but not get drunk.
Zoro would be so jealous lol.
I have this nagging feeling regarding Opera's future. My thought is that he will end up helping the straw hats out of the purest fear of Mama's wrath. He seems as a lackey willing to save face above everything, so trying to outright his''wrong'' by fighting the Mugis again doesn't appear to be out of reach and yet he strikes me to be truly terrified. It can go either way though.
transitional chapter, some small considerations
how big can that castle be that there are "rumors" instead of reports? seems a little too convenient that the sons don't know about jinbe, nami and luffy escaping, despite them roaming the castle just a couple of minutes before.
i'll be damned, jinbe stopped being the "honor guy" and started acting like a goddamn pirate
still not fully convinced by mam's plan…the vinsmokes are already trapped and clearly overpowered, they don't really need the cerimony to get rid of them..although maybe this way is faster.
is the nasu guy asleep on sanji's bed just a coincidence?wow that's a pretty convenient one at that.
sanji has stopped reasoning and finally he's moving on instincts
So it is now confirmed that Big Mom is a lying, cheating and morally deprived Yonko second only to the honorable and noble BlackBeard. Sanji having two thoughts about suiciding instead of feeding luffy is also lame. I really had hope that he will come good but the way his plot has progressed and even knowing his bracelets and Zeff problem is out of the way the way he still remains so unsure is very confusing. I am starting to wonder if Pudding has messed up his memory or something. To think that this guy along with the crew declared war against the freakin World to save a comrade and is now fearing a mere Yonko. Despite knowing his captain's character since the start of the series he refuses to believe in him and is acting really pathetic. There's no hope for this Sanji now because no amount of awesomeness from him will redeem his recent actions which is a shame because he was the most bad ass Strawhat until recently.
Corners were cut, that's for sure.

reiju is not missing.
it has already been reported to the vinsmokes that she got hit by a stray bullet and it's in the infirmary
only problem being that they should be suspicious anyway since the vinsmokes are not hurt by normal bullets@Omni:
Papa Vinsmoke probably has the same plan as Big Mom to fire once the veil is lifted and Sanji will stop the bullet from killing Pudding even though she's evil and will kiss her anyway setting up redemption.
that wouldn't make any sense whatsoever
@Kaido:
I wonder if the Vinsmokes' modified bodies allow them to drink to their heart's content but not get drunk.
Zoro would be so jealous lol.
Yeah, my first thought was that they can probably hold their liquor quite well. They might even pretend they are drunk to fool those barmaids.
Also, I can't imagine Big Mom lasting too long after all this. Not if any kind of news of what SH have pulled right in the middle of her territory gets out.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
reiju is not missing.
it has already been reported to the vinsmokes that she got hit by a stray bullet and it's in the infirmary
Well, you know what I mean. First she goes missing for a while, then they receive word she got hit by a stray bullet and then nobody even checks up on her. Like now suddenly Totland's stray bullets are potent enough to pierce their genetically modded skin.
Seems more and more that tea party will become a fiasco.
Transition chapter or not, I liked this one much, much more than last week's. I don't know what it is, but it clicked a lot more with me.
I guess seeing that Opera, Count Chicken or Bobbin are not taken out of the picture makes feel a bit more at ease that we're not gonna dispatch this guys just like that (well, maybe Opera, but not the other two).
And I, for one, am liking how Oda is handling Sanji. He's depressed as fuck, almost given up, but his instincts tell him what to do, and he's gonna end up doing the right thing.
I like that. It's slowly setting it apart from other crewmate-leaves-the-crew-to-protect-them scenarios.
I'm not yet sure how I feel about Sanji's will to forfeit his life. I think those two events definitely pushed Sanji a lot in the right direction and this was simply the straw that broke the camel's back. The previous two events caused Sanji to react with logic, which internally prevented him from returning to the crew as he has certain ideals that would make returning after such a betrayal extremely difficult for him. Whereas with Bobbin, his reaction was instinctual, and he himself looks shocked and appalled that he did such a thing, but now there is no going back.
- how big can that castle be that there are "rumors" instead of reports? seems a little too convenient that the sons don't know about jinbe, nami and luffy escaping, despite them roaming the castle just a couple of minutes before.
It's absolute chaos in the Chateau, so just like in real life there are probably conflicting reports as to what is going on.
Well, you know what I mean. First she goes missing for a while, then they receive word she got hit by a stray bullet and then nobody even checks up on her. Like now suddenly Totland's stray bullets are potent enough to pierce their genetically modded skin.

well we don't really know if anybody check up on her..if they did before sanji was there, she would have confirmed the story because of pudding's power,if after, she would have still cofnirmed it to let the plan go on and kill the vinsmokes.
still,we know for a fact that the vinsmokes don't trust bigmom that much to begin with, so yeah, they probably didn't let their guard down..but even if that's the case,it's still 5 vs and entire country (plus the army but those are small fishes), they don't have much of a choice other that trying to escape…and during the cerimony it would be a little too late for that.
In fact one of my problems with this arc is that big mom doesn't really need he cerimony to deal with the vinsmokes at all..they are already trapped and outnumbered. but maybe she likes to be theatrical?
The chapter was so-so.
I'm glad Sanji finally snap out of his funk.
I don't think the Vinsmoke are that naive & helpless as Big mom think they are. Reiju had some suspicions about Pudding & she immediately believe what Sanji told her. I think the rest of the family have some suspicions about the Big Mom pirates. Judge even wanted to take Pudding hostage in case Big mom is up to something.
While Reiju took damage from the bullet, she was a prototype before her brothers. I won't be suprised if they are able to resist the bullet better than her. Heck, they may even wear bullet-proof vest during the wedding or have all their human shield with them.
I also doubt some liquors could knock them out. Judge probably make them immune to any sort of poison etc.
Wow Big Mom is just a manipulating evil after all. I'm not sure anymore that SH and BM will make some sort of peace after all is said and done. I'm also not sure Luffy will take her out this arc. But maybe SH and Germa will weaken her force significantly and the mighty off-panel BB will come to finish the job.
I don't know, things just seemed weak this chapter.
The castle is in chaos but the Ministers (? being clueless about the ranks in this crew until Oda spoon feed-me, so just read it as "the big guys") don't know anything about it? It's not like they simply don't know the identities of those attacking the castles, it's more like they didn't even heard one word about escapees at all.
Also, what's with that guy sleeping in Sanji's bed? Is it a coincidence, like Maju said? Sanji was still planning to act normally and let things go as BM intends to, so there wouldn't make sense for him to convince someone to take his place.
The whole "Jinbe v. roulette" resolution also was anticlimactic to say the least if we are to believe what this chapter says (I don't, though. It's not like BM would allow him to just say "fuck it" and walk away). Still, I admit Jinbe acting so OOC is cool.
After defending Sanji's behavior more than once this arc, I have to admit this time I was annoyed too seeing how he just went back to sulking and conforming after everything he discovered from Pudding and Reiju in the last chapters.
Good thing Bobbins was not taken out by Sanji's kick. The BM Pirates are looking too unimpressive already.
Also, I gotta agree with BM: as she described the scene of the Germa massacre I couldn't help but think how amazing it would look. Mom is a great storyteller.
Book keychain lol
Mama sure is a weird one.
