I've been watching DBZ clips on YouTube (because sometimes I get in that mood); but recently I found a few Channels that upload clips/fights with the original JAP audio w/subtitles.
Now I've actually started comparing voices; I'll post my thoughts and the reasonings behind them.
Voices I like better in the Funamation Dub:

Vegeta: While both voices are clearly prideful and arrogant, I think that the Funimation voice takes the cake for three reasons. 1. He sounds way more smug in the way that he speaks he's having way more fun when talking down to someone or making boasts. 2. He's a little bit deeper, which fits to who he is. 3. I personally find his screams/tells to be way more intense and badass than his JAP voice; just compare this "Final Flash" in the Fun dub vs the original.
Piccolo: I just think that he sounds far better with a deeper voice, after all he was supposed to be a "Demon" I the original Dragon Ball. It makes him more "mysterious" and introverted, when he wants to focus you know it right off the bat. Plus it makes him more of a badass in my eyes.
Cell (all forms):
Imperfect Cell - Raspier and deeper fits the way he looks; more like a monster than a full on fighter yet. Plus it gives the impression that he's not as strong as he could be; which fits given that it's exactly what's going on.
Semi perfect Cell - Again it fits better to how he looks, a more "muscle-man" voice given that he's bulked up quite a bit.
Perfect Cell - This is my favorite voice of his and I must say I prefer it miles above the original. Here perfect Cell sounds…perfect. He's deep, he's cocky, he's intimidating and arrogant; but above all he's just super fun to listen to. The Funi dub adds a nice dose of Ham to Perfect Cell and it makes everything he says entertaining; whether he's boasting, cracking a joke, getting angry, or just making an observation.
Buu (all forms):
Fat Buu - I like the higher (almost Toad like) voice he has in the Funi Dub; it makes him feel more childish, innocent, and sometimes a little annoying, which helps when characters get annoyed by his antics. It's why he's supposed to be intimidating when he shows up; a superpowered little kid that likes to wreck stuff.
Super Buu - Deeper, slightly raspy, and slower; then flipping right over to an intense deep screaming frenzy. It makes Super Buu feel like a cold calculating intelligent fighter that can then turn into a battle crazy maniac when pushed to far.
Kid Buu - The JAP and Funi dubs both go the same way on this one; a crazed high pitched maniac with a love for death and destruction. I only prefer the Funi version because it has more of a ham quality to it.
Android 18: Deeper and more mature. It just feels right with 18; it makes her sound way more "no nonsense" and to the point while making her feel less rash and arrogant than 17. It also works later when 18 becomes an ally, it makes her "coming out" to the group more engaging as she learns to become more human.
Android 17: 17's voice instantly brings forward a cocky and dismissive vibe, while also coming off as overconfident. Almost like the rich kid at school who can afford to be an asshole; but when he meets something that finally challenges him he gets fresturated easily.
Android 16: Deeper, slower and way more robotic. It makes 16 sound different than the rest of the androids (which he is) and adds to the impression that he is the most level headed and cautious than 17 and 18. Plus it makes him sounds more peaceful and calm while also sounding sincere; as if he's come to his decisions after much thought.

I'd love to debate this or see what preferences anyone else has in regards to voices.
