So… Brie Larson has been confirmed to be playing Captain Marvel, and Kurt Russel IS Star-lords father, and is playing
! Ego, the Living Planet (I'm not lying here).
-
! [Insert fertilization jokes here.]
-
He
! apparently has a human form that he can communicate with people in a more…resonable fashion, and he's the stepfather, adoptive father, whatever, of the new Guardian, Mantis. He is also, like I stated, Star-lord's father.

@TLC:

He needs to find a female planet to give him complete global saturation:ninja:

Doctor Strange trailer: http://geektyrant.com/news/get-another-psychedelic-look-at-doctor-strange-in-this-brand-new-comic-con-trailer
Here's the trailer:
Thoughts:
1. Inception-glorious.
2. Benedict Cumberbatch is drool-inducing as usual. But hearing him with an American accent is really weird.
3. Who is Chiwetel Ejiofor playing again?
4. Whitewashing still pisses me off.
5. "We're not savages."@The:

The wifi thing on the last part of the trailer was very bad IMO. Other than that I liked it.
-
The Kurt Russell thing is intriguing. I'm excited for Brie Larson; she's a best case casting, about as good as I thought Joaquin would have been for Dr. Strange. Still not interested in Dr. Strange enough to even watch the trailers because I don't like Cumberbatch. Last thing is that I'm hoping that Thor Ragnarok is good because any story incorporating Planet Hulk should be great and Thor 2 was awful. Hoping for the best, though :D :D :D :D :D

I just got secret wind of a Silver Sable movie. It may or may not just be a one off. This is the first I'm hearing of it, is this old news or what?
It's maybe a month or two old, but Sony has been trying to build a Spideyverse for a while and Silver Sable is another one of their attempts. I just don't see it happening..

Black Panther news:
Producer Kevin Feige revealed Saturday that the cast will include Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia and Danai Gurira as Okoye. The film is set to open July 6, 2018.
Of COURSE Lupita Nyong'o was going to be in it. How could she not?

Don't forget Richonne of The Walking Dead either. They have to get every single known black actor/actress to be in this one movie.

Doctor Strange is the one Marvel movie that I am really excited about
and no, its totally not because of Benedict Cumberbatch I swear.I admit being totally unfamiliar with the Marvel Comics, but I really like the Inception-ish approach. Here's hoping that I won't get a headache when I watch it.
Mads Mikkelson looks awesome too. -
So Surtur in Thor Ragnarok then?
-
Wish Marvel wasn't straight up going for an inception look, because they are to afraid of just go crazy with the comic magic of Strange.

I see, and this would be separate from the MCU right? Well I can asure you they are at least trying. I was able to submit for it.

He's the fellow with the scary eyes.

@S.C.:
He's the fellow with the scary eyes.
O_o I need to rewatch. Who is that character supposed to be again?
-
I think it should be obvious that Mads character is either going to become Dormammu, or that he's summoning Dormammu. We're getting Dormammu one way or another.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Oh! He's playing a character called 'Kaecilius' though.

Why are we getting Vulture of all people as the villain in Spider-Man: Homecomig? Is it because Fox already used all the cool ones?
-
Not only getting Vulture, we're getting the
! Tinkerer and Shocker as well. Apparently, the Tinkerer builds the suit for Vulture from leftover tech left by the alien race that attacked New York during The Avengers

Don't forget Richonne of The Walking Dead either. They have to get every single known black actor/actress to be in this one movie.
So its the new Meteor Man, is what you're saying.

Vulture is plenty cool. And he actually is one of the early villains. I don't think he can carry a film on his own, but he won't have to.
(after this we have what, Kraven and Scorpion left? Tombstone? Kingpin is more Daredevil's thing now.)
But yes, its because most of the iconic ones have already been on screen aready (green goblin multiple times) and they don't want to repeat too quickly.
There's nothing inherantly wrong with a Spidey movie having two or three villains. The comics had teams up all the time, and the tv shows generally do a Spidey plot, a Peter plot, two or three action scenes, and sometimes a C plot, in 22 minutes constantly. Something with an hour and a half-2 hours run time shouldn't have trouble juggling two villains… if the right people handle it. It's mostly just historically... it's not been handled well because its more studios insisting on things than any actual desire to balance a structure. Hell, Batman 66 had all four of the biggie villains and it paced fine.

I don't think it's so much they're afraid but the stuff looks a bit too much a product of it's time.

I didn't even think about that but yeah that works.

The Executive-in-Chief of the series calls the the "Wu-Tang-ification of the Marvel Universe."

Hannibal was one of my favorite series. But I will forever think he'll try to eat people in anything he stars in from now on. Lol.

Lol…Is it?
My roommate is still mad at me for a terrible pun I made by referring to a scene where he was nude by saying "he showed her his Hanniballs."
At any rate. I love Mads. He's so eerie.
-
He's in Hannibal, he's in Doctor Strange, he's now in Star Wars….he's starting to become the new Sam Jackson.

True, he is a wonderful Villain.

Maybe, but I want some crazy magic with cool psychedelic colors instead of this squeaky clean let's bend reality look.

After Infinity War we get the movie titled New Avengers, cause some old ones will die. :ninja:

That's not really a secret.

Well now it isn't!
Fox announced a TV show about week ago….using footage from the intro of the old 90's cartoon for some reason.

I see. Thats about when I got my info as well. Well the 21st I just didn't check. What did they say? From what I can tell this will be about lesser known mutant characters and not the x-men at all.

The network on Tuesday announced that it has handed out a put-pilot commitment to an untitled Marvel action-adventure series. The project will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
It's a crapshoot as to who will be in this show along with the "Hellfire" & Legion shows.
-
The Hellfire show has already been canned.
-
-
Awwww, yeah.
Can someone tell me who the villain is?
-
The villain´s Cottonmouth, a drug lord from NY. I don´t really know much else about him.
Trailer looks great, does anyone know if the show takes place before or after Jessica Jones?
-

Possibly, Willis Stryker (Diamondback).

It takes place after, but there will be flashbacks of Luke Cage's origin and upbringing that will take place years before JJ.
Anyways, Cottonmouth looks like he's going to be the main antagonist while Diamondback, aka Willis Stryker, looks to be a secondary antagonist. In the comics,
! Diamondback was Luke's childhood friend and both of them were in a gang, but Luke eventually quit while Stryker kept rising up the ranks. They eventually fight over a mutual romantic interest, and Stryker eventually frames Luke Cage for stealing heroin, which gets Luke arrested and thrown in jail. Luke gets his powers by participating in an experiment during jail time and breaks out, eventually returning to the public under a new name (Luke Cage's original name was Carl Lucas until his imprisonment).
! Cottonmouth is connected to all of this by being a major crime boss that owned the heroin that Stryker stole and framed Luke for. Luke worked for Cottonmouth for a while to find evidence that could clear his name and incriminate Stryker, but due to not finding anything conclusive on the matter, he fought with Cottonmouth and got him arrested by the cops.I hope this info helps inform everybody. I didn't even know much about Luke's origin until wondering who was the show's main antagonist myself in the past couple of days lol. Also, Alfre Woolard has been casted in Luke Cage as Black Mariah, who is another Cage villain/crime boss.
