"But what about us?" asks a small, plaintive voice in the distance, probably Usopp's. Zoro glances back over his shoulder, a look of apathy in his one good eye. "Did any two of you receive over sixteen-thousand votes combined in the latest popularity poll?" he asks, a question no one needs to be told is rhetorical. "Didn't think so."

Aw yeah, who's ready for some DEGUCHI??!!
LOL, the Deguchiness feels strong in that one. It's like he's been replaced by an imposter during Dressrosa and now he's back with a vengeance.

Well….I guess the official English spelling of Gild Tesoro is Guild Tesoro.....the episode was okay too.
-
Well… it was better than the last one. Desire continues to be the high point of this arc, and I did like that tag-team move Law and Kin'emon pulled off. And that is precisely all I have to say about this episode.
-
Well, I found the Bartolomeo fangirling over falling on Luffy in his balloon form to be pretty darn funny. Otherwise, it was eh.
-
I found it funny that the title was Law and Zoro Finally Arrive when Law was sitting on the Sunny nursing his wounds and Kin'emon worked with Zoro. The episode title was just to get more views, I suppose.Overall it was an eh episode. This arc hasn't had quite so many Bart fanboy moments, which I do appreciate, and this episode had more than the previous two, but it was still handled pretty well. Peseta was awful, though. Despite having two cannons strapped on his back, he can't even kill people in a mineshaft at point blank range. And he was completely unfit to fight Zoro; he just seemed more like a chance for Toei to show Zoro and make him look cool. Again, ratings!I thought Bill had destroyed Desire's crew and turns out I was right. He's such a bland tropey villain that I can see through everything he does. At least there's only one more episode left in this arc. Also, why is Bartolomeo so excited at seeing Elephant Gun? He saw Luffy attack Fujitora with it.

This was actually pretty good episode the direction & framing was interesting, new ep director Fujita Kentaro is improving (just two bad close ups but most of art was good),lots of interesting content(law vs kinemon team up, barto fangasm, pesta laughing at everyone, zoro action and desire is a pretty cool character).
-
This is currently the only one in the arc that has sported some decent animation regarding Zoro's attack and the face-off with Bill. Also Kinemon actually got to do something. I was certain he was going to disappear through the entire arc. Though I'm tempted to agree with the theory that this filler arc (and by extension the entire Film GOLD movie + tie-ins) may very well be a fantasy sequence dreamt up by Barto during their trip to Zou. @Envy:

I agree that fanboy moment in particular was very funny, possible aided by the unintentional (?) homoerotic undertones of the slo-mo sequence of Barto's ecstatic joy of jumping on Luffy. Barto's dream-like prancing on his barrier stairs despite the necessity of running for his life was a close second.

The episode was…Odd. Really? Did we need bandana'ed Zoro for the guy who shoots sticky canon balls? The Law Kinemon tag team was surprisingly good. But kaw did nothing else haha. I feel like 75% of the time titles have nothing to do with content.Desire's not a bad filler character. She didn't bawl her eyes out and she's tried to take care of the mess she got her people into. Her design though reminds me of a Jem sidekick.
