Volume Nine won't be scanlated by Sushi Bar since it's already out by Viz.
Problem is… It's Volume 9 and 10 so they are skipping a lot.
They'll also cease if Viz actually decides to release Bo-bobo (which isn't happening).

Oh, that's how it is? Thank god.
Sasuga has a weird spelling of Bo-bobo.
THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!
I've been searching for one of these sites for imported manga! Thank you!
It's cheaper at the site Kosmic suggested, but you have to live in either the west coast (California) or the East Coast (New York) from what I can tell.

I think they probably would have to translate the beginning of vol. 9 (which is a continuation of the OVER/Torpedo Girl fight) and the end of vol. 10 (the beginning of a new arc). So don't worry about it.
BTW: was in NYC yesterday, so I finally got the first volume of Shinsetsu.
! It does seem like Sawai is finally building on the layered plot he's done since the Reverse Maruhage arc (the first arc where he did the layers and the subplots since before then it was mostly "Bo-bobo and team goes in and beats up people strangely"…not like there's anything wrong with that) Oh, and I already like Gaoh from what I've seen!
Aww… I've been itcing to buy Shinsetsu Volume 1...! Meh. But I'm broke for the moment. T_T Whatever, I'll just wait until I'll be able to save up enough money from my allowance to buy Shinsetsu Volume 1. And hopefully, Shinsetsu Volume 2 will be out by that time...
Why was this weeks episode called the Fall of Halekulani when he only got hit once.
Most of the episode was dedicated to Bo-bobo Roulette.
I was wondering that myself.
Well, Haekulani did technically "fall" after being hit by Bo-bobo's Gondola.

Well, Haekulani did technically "fall" after being hit by Bo-bobo's Gondola.
Well, he's not own3d yet, but he did technicaly fall of his throne while Bo-BoBo was sitting in it considering they're the 1st to get to the money trap XD.
Yeah, I guess the dub title is a bit deceptive. The Halekulani fight has just started and we still have about another two and a half episodes of money-fighting goodness.
BTW: I was looking over vol. 10 again and saw that scene with Heppokomaru discovering the "slaves" in the park…particularly surprised since...well, considering that we don't see what happens with him next until the chapter after the end of that American volume, I just feel a bit stranged out that many won't find out what happens next.
Question..
! I was looking around some Japanese sites of Bo-BoBo and..Is it true later somewhere in the series, Halekulani allies with Bo-BoBo and the rest? If so, why?
All I know is that
! Halekulani, along with Rice, OVER, and several other former enemies, allies with Bo-bobo when the previous generation of the Bald Empire (led by Tsuru Tsurina (sp?) the third) are brought out of some kind of cryogenic freezing process by Tsuru IV. I don't know why they are working together, though.

Kinda but…
! Rice: Helps in the Life or Death machine against the former block leaders of the Third Generation. He gets carried away by N&N after the battle and hasn't been seen since.
! Torpedo Girl: She tags along with the group after the fight against Halekulani.
! Over: Finally transform back to himself during the last fight against Tsuru Tsurina III and it turns into a free-for-all slugfest (Tsurina III vs. OVER vs. Bobobo's group.) He leaves the group during the New Empire Playoff but joins up with Bobobo's group to fight Hydrate and the Reverse Empire. He tranforms back into Torpedo Girl during the fight with LOVE.
! Halekulani: He joins Bobobo after the Reverse Empire attacks the Bald Empire during the New Empire Playoffs. He was of the few that didn't get energy drained by the Reverse Empire and wanted revenge. He leaves Bobobo's group afterwards though.
! don't forget Hanpen's participation as well, gah I wish all the time that he would return ^^

! Yeah, guess I can help a bit more here:
-Rice: Assists against Rububa the Bubbles, then gets crushed against Lambada. N&Ns takes him away after his loss.
-Halekulani: Takes part in the New Emperor Playoff, defeats an enemy on a path Beauty and Don Patch end up on, then is one of the few that get away when Crimson and LOVE wipe away everyone at Maruhage Castle. The only battle he assists with against the Reverse Maruhage is Crimson…but he throws in an attack here or there the rest of that arc before returning to Money Castle with the end of Hydrate.
-OVER: Most of what happened to him has been covered, but he also was one of the survivors of Crimson/LOVE's assault on the castle. (amazingly, when he takes part in the playoff, he somehow arrives at the castle with Ruby...she must have followed him)
-Hanpen: Covered.
! The only other two "former enemies" that join with Bo-bobo's team is Despair (an assistant of Sonic in Cyber City) and Kancho-kun (another former Maruhage leader...amazing for a little thing with fingers on its head)
Hmm. I was just watching Baka Survivor again, and watching it made it seem like Suzu was one of the main nine, not torpedo/gyorai girl. Guess not. But it does make you wonder…:wassat:
Read what I could of the latest chapter off a scan and…
! I can't quite understand it all for the moment, but one thing is certain: Namero isn't what he appears to be. Yeesh, didn't see HIM as the next emperor of the Maruhage!
Gonna try this again…
! This week…Namero seems rather powerful now..but I still don't get his connection to the 3rd. Plus, we get another DBZ scene (with Bo-bobo = Goku, Don Patch = Tien, Tennosuke = Krillin, Gaoh = Chaotzu), slight references to Kinnikuman and JoJo, and a cliffhanger where Bo-bobo and Pokomi are taking on Namero!
About the Bo-BoBo anime adaption in terms of violence, coudn't they have made it like the Dokuro-chan anime?
If you watch this, you'll notice there is a lot of gore and blood comedy like violence in it just like Bo-BoBo.
Why didn't Bo-BoBo's violence level in the anime get the same treatment in the anime? Dokuro-chan's a comedy but it has a lot of blood/gore for the comedy.

Um, that violence is about a hundred times Bo-bobo's violence…besides, I think this is merely an OAV series and Bo-bobo is shonen anime. Usually, if a character is decapitated, its Don Patch or Tennosuke due to...them not being human.

You're right, decapitation never happens to anyone in Bo-BoBo but Don Patch and Tennosuke. But would this scene from Dokuro-chan match Bo-BoBo' violence perfectly? This one has no decapitations so XD
Apparently this kid is Tsuru Tsurina V.

X.F.D.
…
I shouldn't laugh, because that's horribly digusting/cruel/unnerving...but I was so surprised I couldn't help myself.

LOL Sorry coudn't help it XD The violence seemed so funny to me as of the one in Bo-BoBo

Bobobo is Yamcha, not Goku in that Scene. This chapter looked pretty funny.

Oh-my-fuckin-god that IS violent. Now I really wonder why they didn't keep the blood and stuff on Bobobo…
Anyways, chapter 33 was seemed very funny, but now I hate Namerou...
They removed the Serviceman Scene! WHOO! (Which makes sense, but they pretty much match the time of the episodes with the cut of everything that isn't the first opening.)
SO WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?!
(Yay Money)

Next? Well…
! We get to the denoument of the Halekulani fight next time, meet the biggest pimp in this world (AKA: our next villain), lose one ally while gaining another (many of you should know who on both), and…we're about six episodes from the last unrevealed thing from the first opening. (yep...that)
Has Denbo appeared yet? ;-;
she won't appear yet. We haven't even stepped into Cyber City.
Has Denbo appeared yet? ;-;
She's appearing in ep 48, I already seen her song in a jap ep and its way hillarious but kawaii! Wait, she herself is kawaii
Cant wait for her US debut, ne ^_~
For her english voice over, do you think that they'll just merge BoBoBo and Dengakuman's voices like they've done so far? Or will they actually get a new VA to make the illusion of a pop star?
I Think:
1. They will mix the voices together, to do the "No one on this show can sing good" thing. (It said in the recap they sang in June, DID THEY?)
2. They will get a new, good voice due to the nature of the part being kinda long and people might tune away if the vioce is annoying and singing.
3. They make her Mute. (HA HA HA HA HA HA HA)
My Ideas.
The only time they ever really combined voices was with BoboPatchnosuke, which was a weird one-time-only thing. I think they got a new voice for BoboPatch, so I believe that Denbo will be getting a normal voice as well. (heck, if Naruto can get a second VA for his "Sexy Jutsu" form…)
Yeah. The only reason why they merged mixed was because BoBoPatchSuke consister of three guys so two may be a different story.
I missed the episode that the money guy appeared in and the one before that. Could someone fill me in.
…On a side note, Bobobo is the only anime I only watch in English these days.

What was the last thing you saw? The fight with the triplets or further back?
@Tokoro:

Yeah, fight with the triplets.
Though I missed the episode that that started on. I really wish they would stop switching the time that the show's on..

OK, quick (slightly gagless, but maybe someone can fill you in on the funny ones) recap, starting with the episode before the triplets fight:
-After getting out of the kids area, most of Bo-bobo's team goes one way while Don Patch and Heppokomaru go another, without realizing (until Suzu tells them) about the "Hell Killers" (dub: A Few Dangerous Thugs) wandering around the park.
-Bo-bobo, Tennosuke, Beauty and Suzu (and Dengaku Man, I think) took on one of them, Garbel the Fresh Blood (who fights with extremely long nails) in a candy house. Bo-bobo and Tennosuke team up to defeat him.
-Meanwhile, in probably one of the best fights in the arc, Don Patch takes over a stage show and defeats a Terminator parody in an extremely crazy fight.
-Bo-bobo's team makes their way to Climb-High Tower, where the "triplets" (original: Prison Murder Brothers, dub: Terrible Triplets) capture Beauty and Suzu, forcing them under gum that can kill through its smell.
-Softon reappears and joins in the fight, leading to a crazy fight with a lot of Babylon jokes (as well as…well, obvious Softon bits). Eventually, Don Patch finally returns and everything gets rather crazy and chaotic. (its one of those fights that's sort of tough to explain)
-Two of the brothers power up the third making him more powerful, but Bo-bobo stops all three (as well as Don Patch and Tennosuke) with the infamous "Bo-bobo Roulette".
-Bo-bobo's team reaches Money Castle, where Halekulani is protected by a field of bills. (someone pointed out this as a parody of Gaara's "Sand Shield") Suzu gets turned into a coin, but Bo-bobo breaks through a field...with a gondola ride.
-Halekulani begins to attack with his money power, with Bo-bobo's side mostly evading things rather well (if not taking in the money and precious jewels for himself)
-Halekulani creates a "board game world" where he gets to steal income from the players at the cost of turning them to diamond. After a chaotic battle where they almost lose, Bo-bobo unleashes....a phoenix from a barbeque! (in the manga, it was actually Osiris the Saint Dragon of the Sky)
-Bo-bobo turns Halekulani's board game into his own, where he ends up torturing the bad guy (and Don Patch) through a bunch of crazy sights before closing the game...literally!
-Halekulani begins to truely lose it, summoning all the wealth in his park, fusing with more gems while attacking Bo-bobo's side with trillions of dollars. (in the original, it was at least a quadrillion). Bo-bobo does seem to avoid it and states there's something more than money...which he'll get into next time.
-Meanwhile, during the Halekulani fight, Heppokomaru finds some prisoners in the park which he decides to save. But...(not gonna say what happens since next week will reveal that too)
Wow, I missed out on a lot.
By the way, I did see a few episodes with the money guy. When he said "Fist of Gorgeousness" my friend replied "He's gay."

Well the real name is "Fist of Gorgeous".
BTW: with the way sexual orientation can easily change with many of these characters (Bo-bobo, Don Patch and Tennosuke in particular), that is probably something he really shouldn't say.

She only saw that one episode.
OK! Halekulani Defeated, Gasser Captured, Funny Faces, Torpedo Girl, and a Boat! SO EXCITING!!! CYBER CITY AND GIGA!!!!! AND ICE!!!! FROZEN WATER!!!! Also they fail at a theme park….
I'm guessing Giga's hoes are just for show…
I'm guessing Giga's hoes are just for show…
Yeah, pretty much. Those girls don't do anything but lounge around and say how great Giga is. Dull, huh?
WHOA @ last week's chapter.
Wow..
Don't give me the credit for these scans, I found them on a spanish website/Bobobo forum.

OK, didn't get to this week's Bo-bobo yet, but check out the Gag Manga special, where Bo-bobo, Don Patch and Tennosuke join in the chaos for Kochi Kame's 30th..alongside the main characters from Jaguar, Saga and Maison Du Penguin.
And may there come a day where we get Don Patch 30!
Edit: Saw the chapter finally and….
! let's just say, of all the Jump series I follow either obsessively (One Piece), somewhat for the future (Eyeshield) and even those that I laugh at due to lack of progress (Naruto), Bo-bobo wins for the week. Particularly for the Torpedo Girl cameo and the annihilation of Namero with the "Genaha" attack (which is probably similar to the "Ganeme" he used against Be-bebe)
! just saw the chapter and daamnn that was the crunkest attack i seen in bobobo yet course i havent read all of bobobo but so far this is the best.
