Vivi's eyes + the title "take me with you"…. dammit oda, dammit
Chapter 815: Take Me With You!

But why do they have to be together? I mean, it still could be a nice reading if they are not.
It's getting a little tiresome. The point of their crew for me is that they are stronger when they are together. And they are in the most dangerous area of the world now.
Separating them again just needlessly complicates things and will create dozens of additional problems and sub-plots that will become intertwined like one big gordian knot that will be impossible to unravel without hitting a wall here and there.
-
Lol
There is a dog mink biting Brook's leg in page 10.
-
Wow. So all this time, Sanji was holding back against all his opponents because he didn't want to get too famous and be noticed by his family. Alas, even his 10 percent is enough to become a famous New World pirate. Props to Oda for not letting him one-shot all the villains, including Doffy, up to this point in the story. Must have taken real self-control.
-
how stupid is it of Robin to not just clone herself onto the ship and tell the Samurai not to come up?
And did the monkey just learn of Kanjuro and Kinemon being Samurai after they entered Zou?
I don't think she can do that, without having any idea where they are. Also we don't know how far away they are, maybe if she had awakened her powers she could do that. Your asking her to find the ship in the dark of night and clone herself, and speak to them. That is like some kage bushin no jutsu type stuff.
I knew the second they said they were going to stop the samurai they would be sleep in a minute. LOL. They should of took turns doing shifts of being on guard.

Perhaps I need to re-read the chapter but how did you come to the conclusion he was holding back 10 percent of his full power. I would think being on one of the most famous floating restaurants in the world, would garner you more attention.
Nice Chapter, Big Mom really is like the Mafia sending heads as gifts for someone you care about. Also seems they have information on the Baratie. Laws crew is alot bigger then I thought 20 members ? Funny enough the chapter title is the same thing Robin Yelled when she wanted to return to the straw hats, can't wait for the next chapter.
I was surprised Law doesn't have any important 1st or 2nd mates on his crew, Bepo seems to be the only one worth knowing.

More like 90 percent, mang. Sanji got that conqueror's haki, mang.

I just wanna know now WHERE THE HELL IS RAIZOU???!
-
Then he probably didn't get "Only Alive" put on his bounty because of his picture, but because the ceremony is coming up (something he couldn't possible predict).
Not knowing that his pre-TS bounty was him sounds like BS to me. How many Sanjis are there that look like that?
Duval… Pre skip besides Kuma no one recognized him. Not even the likes as Absalom... hell even Iva hasn't believed him being the one on the bounty
And you misunderstood my question. Sanji said right now that he never wanted his past to be involved... But the the fact remains. He should be smart enough to know that as soon as he gets reknown... sooner or later the past would have a role.
So why do he wanted to have the bounty that much? Just for the ego?
-

I don't see how this is much different than her looking through the entire city of Water 7 and below the White Sea and growing her head on the other side of green bit or other feats. She knows she is directly above the ship over the rear leg, she could summon a bunch of arms with eyes along the leg until she sees the ship. Or heck, brook could just send his soul to find them.
Or Oda could say that there are obvious limitations to the range of their power, which he never stated before. But he didn't. Just took me out of the story. -
At this point, I think Sanji's real reason for the Only Alive bounty is the marriage itself.
The family probably doesn't even care for him aside from that.
But what the WG gainst from this marriage?
And as I said… This isn't my question

What I have in mind is it's not about strenght only. I remember that line of Law saying the worst generation will turn the world into a chaos. Likely Oda thinks of a creative way to do that and not by making the straw hats going with force against the big bosses. It's too soon to be sure; anyway, a split would have a different sense than what it had during thetime skip.

I think you're right, it seemed like an Ego thing Luffy was cheering when he saw his and same with Usopp whe his bounty sky rocketed( and of course Franky being pissed that Usopps is higher then his own) so it does kinda seem like an Ego. Otherwise Oda might have screwed up a bit..
-
great chapter, loving the humor in this arc. what i failed to notice though was any note of there being a break next week. are we really getting 5 chapters without any break?
-
So why do he wanted to have the bounty that much? Just for the ego?
For the ladies, obviously.
-
I don't get how Sanji wanting a good bounty and a bounty poster would be a screw-up by Oda. Sanji even explicitly said in 813 that he never expected to have to deal with "this part" (as in, the Vinsmoke part) of his past ever again. If he wasn't expecting his family to interfere in his life, why should he care if they knew what he was up to? He was clearly shocked by everything that was going on; he probably never expected them to be relevant to his life again.
-

Or Oda could say that there are obvious limitations to the range of their power, which he never stated before. But he didn't. Just took me out of the story. There are limitations. He actually stated it in a SBS that there's a radius of work, although he didn't specify how much.
Luffy was stated to have a similar limitation, where he can only stretch so far. Buggy too.
Don't forget that Zou is huge, and took a good while to climb. It's definitely bigger than most islands, as its back itself is an island.
But anyway, it's not like staying awake was a bad plan.
-
Lol loving these chapters they're great. I was right about Sanji having to forcefully leave the crew. What I'm not sure about is what their next course of action will be, too much to worry about. The best thing that could happen in my mind is if Zoro goes alone and gets Sanji back, does it not look like it's building up to that to anyone else? The guy that's seemingly least concerned about him is probably the most concerned lol maybe I'm reading it wrong.
-
how would luffy even get there without a navigator? Pekoms might have an eternal pose but i still think at the minimum nami should go otherwise it kind of makes her job pointless if anyone can just sail around alone like that.
-
anyone has any idea where the germa double-six name could come from?
-
Since last chapter, i really really do love Nekomamushi, and every scene with him i really enjoy. I love that big cat.
-
@here:

The reason I can think of for this is that they might have been trying to get all the chapters up through 816 out as soon as they can so that Shueisha can start publishing Volume 81 (which is supposed to be released in early April, and–if it has the usual 10 chapters--would contain chapters 807-816). I'm guessing we'll probably get a break the following week after 816 comes out, sadly.
-
yes new chapter, are vivi a queen now?, no cobra this time.
nekomamushi ftw !!! lol
hmm, another ID arc ?! this time with luffy, sanji, and jinbe.
lol at trio "adult", hope this not lead to a drama.
and no break next week ?! @_@ if so then .
-

This is from Zasper
Thanks,Sandman!
My friend said Gelma 66 might be Germa 66, from "St Germans", Sanji+Germa =? Saint Germans?Which in turn when I looked up secret societys in Germany back in WW2 times there was a group called 'Gestapo' which was an underground police society for the Nazi's and also smuggled goods and services for them. They also moved some of the Jewish people in those times to concentration camps pretty interesting if this is where Oda got his idea.
-
But what the WG gainst from this marriage?
And as I said… This isn't my question
We know that isn't your question, dude, but it's directly related to it.
I'd assume that Sanji thought he'd finally escaped that life and that it wouldn't catch up to him despite whatever bounty.
We literally don't know right now, so this is all guess work.
-

D: How far can Luffy's arms stretch? Please tell me.
O: He can stretch them really far. Right now, Luffy can stretch about 72 Gomu Gomus. But Luffy is now working hard, trying to achieve 100 Gomu Gomus record. This would mean it applies to other DF powers as well.

BTW
who of the amateurs have fucked up?
Robin, Franky or Brook?
Really I bet there has been some talking about who is guarding the nigth as logn as the other 2 sleep.
So who fucked up?
If not… Has someone caused them to sleep?
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
And what about the rest. Do I read it correctly that they will stay at Zou waiting for Luffy?
Do you think Jack or someone else will come again and we have Zoro leading the SHs? Or after the samurai stuff going on they may go to Wano instead?

My money is on Brook , that old fart probably played a lullaby and knocked everyone out by accident.

How is Pekoms going to accept Luffy's plan? I don't see it. Luffy's his enemy. To tell Luffy's plan to him is like to tell it to BM herself.
-
So…that party came out of nowhere. Hilarious, but unexpected. One minute the Straw Hats and Law are talking about serious stuff like Kaido coming after them...and then they decide to party about that? Like, "Hey, look at how many complicated problems we have right now! Let's celebrate!" Lol
-
law's crew is very funny
i hope they will help getting sanji back
-
Pretty good chapter even if I am not very thrilled by another crew separation. All the Sanji background story is getting really interesting. The only thing annoying me here is the part where luffy is going solo again. We didn't have much crew time after TS, and even when they were together, other protagonists were added to the story.
That being said I really likes how Oda is surprising us every chapter, was not expecting that at all. We are now 15 chapters after Dresrosa's end I still can't put any name to this arc. Dunno also how luffy rescuing Sanji would stop the blackmail, anyway solid chapter! -

I don't think he expected his family to try to wed him into a Yonkou family. Anything less than that he can deal with. Besides, it's Big Mom's family that is threatening those he cares about, not the Vinsmokes.
The Vinsmokes might not even have cared what he did as a pirate. But now there's a political need for him.
-
The only way to make Pekoms to accept Luffy's plan to go with him is making Pekoms to have a little secret with BM. That would put Pekoms on the edge. Maybe Pekoms'll accept to pay the Strawhats for save Zou… But it could be a foreshadow that Pekoms will break ties with BM in the future.
-
So, Luffy says he's going solo, I don't think the crew will go along with this, at the very least i think Zoro will go with him. The rabbit girl or whatever she is seemed interested too—will probably sneak in with them. Either way, this is going to be awesome : D. 8,5/10 chapter.
Vivis eyes were perfectly drawn on the cover page, conveying her regret of not being able to go while still being happy for the crew.
-
I don't know if it was jus me but… Carrot gave me a strange sensation in the chapter... A Strawhat Crew member sensation.
-
Silly Luffy you can't crash a wedding by yourself, especially not from someone with as much power as Charlotte. Shout outs to the "grown ups" of the crew great jobs guys lmao.
-

Yeah, exactly. He already said he never expected to have to deal with his past again, so he probably figured the Vinsmokes were done with him, in which case it wouldn't matter whether or not he kept a low profile. Still curious to find out how and why he left them in the first place.
-
Franky's hairstyle is the most awesome thing I have ever seen in my measly years of life.
Zoro is being such a tsundere… And where did that party came from anyway? -
But damn it… Still want to see the connection to the WG?
Further more... I do not get the "married" per bloodline to be under Big Mom's wing... Does that mean the whole crew is somehow married to a Charlotte member? That would explain the 35 daughters...
And of coruse what about Sanji's brothers
-
At the beginning of One Piece i liked to see how strong characters (like mihawk, dragon, garp, …) seemed to be easily able to travel around the world. I would kind of like to see the strawhats doing that. Luffy might go for sanji, while sending off franky and brooke to baratie and the kamabakka kingdom for some protection (or maybe some of his allies from dressrosa arc). It would be cool to see strawhat act more globally.
-
Great chapter, at last we're not in a flashback anymore and the plot is moving forward. :)
Nekomamushi is really entertaining as a character, maybe because he acts as hot-headed and spontaneous as Luffy himself. Unfortunately I could easily see this warm friendliness switching to a quick temper once the truth about the samurais is revealed… Neko is the lord of the night, he's bound to be a bit of a lunatic
2016 decidedly holds promises of awesomeness. After all, one way out for Sanji is to become himself the head of the Vinsmoke family and cancel the wedding... Can you imagine that, a whole family of assassins as underlings of the Straw Hats?
-

Pekoms doesn't seem to have married in, as his family still lives at Zou. And he's not exactly part of a big organization to warrant the need to marry in.

Won't happen, how the hell are they going to navigate all the way back to East Blue by themselves. I get your point though but it's unrealistic (that's putting it lightly).

Yeah I always thought that was cool well we got Aokiji last time when he traveled to Punk Hazard. I think Franky would have to build some kind of GPS for islands so Luffy and Zoro don't get lost though. I'm sure they'll reach that level soon though.
-
I don't want the crew to be separated from Luffy again… Hopefully at least one of them will somehow end up coming with him. But I enjoyed this chapter and am liking the unpredictability of this arc.
I'm guessing Zou only has 5-10 more chapters which will deal with Nekomamushi and Inuarashi reconciling, and more imminently the Minks' reaction to Kin'emon and Kanjuro.
-
It means that only people related by blood to Sanji would become her underlings.
It also unifies their bloodlines as if they were one bloodline, so Vinsmoke and Charlotte family will be one of the same. Therefore if anyone messed with Sanji thereafter they'd be messing with a Yonkou.
Won't happen anyway.
-

Mihawk did it way back I think it's possible if you're a good navigator, also Rayleigh swam through the Calm Belt.

if this the case then i'm sold lol….........
