I believe Spandam can create tons of twists on the bridge.
Its true he is outmatched with Cutty Flam, and Nico Robin in his way, but as stated Robin is "unable to stop shaking". So its safe to say she won't be fighting (atleast thats what i think). I am also one of the believers that Rob Lucchi is still in the game, so that prevents Luffy from catching up (totally my opinion). Now.. as for Zoro, Sanji, Nami, etc. They are completely blocked out as Rob Lucchi flooded the underwater passage, which puts them in quite a dilemma, becuz now they can't reach the bridge.. and with Sogeking having 'who knows how many' broken ribs, and not at a height high enough to sniper. Not to mention no quiet area to sniper due to the Buster Call. I find it VERY likely for a Spandam w/ Funk Freed Vs. Cutty Flam inevitable.
1. Spandam will get over desperate to retrieve Nico Robin and get on the Convoy.
2. Cutty Flam and Spandam already have a score to be settled due to the past involving Tom.
Now, at first glance, Cutty Flam would completely destroy Spandam, but thats where I think his sword comes in, not to mention Cutty Flam is weakened from Fukurou, Monster Chopper, Lucchi, Landmine, and Running Low on Cola… very low on Cola.
The way i see it, i dont find it to be 'out of place'. Spandam wants to be 'A Hero'. And to advance his career. The marines are now unreliable because they are scared of the Buster Call warships. Its going to don in his head that 'I have to do it myself if i want it to be done'.
No one else is in the area, and I don't think Luffy will be reaching the bridge yet, Rob Lucchi still has something to offer, atleast thats what I think.
He is still a member of CP9 no matter what way you look at it, he wouldnt have been called a CP9 member if he wasn't able to do anything. Although he most likely is very bad at fighting, he wouldn't brag about his sword if it didn't have more potential than some readers are giving it credit for.
