@King:
It's not a clone. Or else why would he ask for a newspaper?
That's why I said or it's Dofla himself. It's not an invalid thought of it being a clone.

@Buggy:
A clone will get nulled if touched with sea stone tho so that can't be right.
Maybe doffy will face execution ace style lol n kaido will come save him, be pretty funny
Well, there is reason to not believe that is the case.
I mean, one of Doflamingo creations, the birdcage was moving and resisting the birdcage.

@YoiYoi:
To whom exactly?
He lost Caesar, the SMILE factory, his position of Shichibukai, and the throne of Dressrosa. He has nothing that could be valuable to anyone aside from his fighting abilities, which I doubt someone like Kaido would need.
He doesnt have to be valuable because of his position (former)
I mean Jack wants to go bust Dofla out of the escort. He could just be a loyal guy, but he knows someone like Dofla would be a waste sitting doing nothing to some people.

@Razh:
Well pox on me for even saying Birdcage was protected by plot. Should have known better.
But it was. It was one big, undisputed, barrier of doom which nobody questioned or tried to actively destroy or bypass.
The only one who tried to break it was just faking it, considering he knew what Dofla's strings would do to his meteor.
One might argue Luffy could have broken through the birdcage. He was kind of too busy to try it. But if not, Dofla could have used the same strings that made it to fight Luffy.
As far as Zoro's plot armor goes, he is one of the main characters, and won't die just like that. But talking about it is way too meta for my taste.
Wouldn't mind seeing him get in such a bad shape that his plot armor needs to activate, though.
It was no doubt plot or these were the most elite strings that could not be used for fighting.
It's like metal is metal. You can either have it strong or delicate. Delicate enough to make complex smaller things such as a clone created by string which perfectly displayed string and tissue of it's creator.
