A smarter Meliodas/Sins would have held off on his power up until everyone else was ready to go, while monitoring the Commandments' location to be ready in case they started moving. That includes rounding up Ban and Diane. Then Mel receives his power, pokes Galan, and immediately splits in 2-3 groups to start picking off the splintered Commandments.

I guess the law of Miss Derrière is to say the word 'ass' in every sentence.
-
I love how butthurt Garan is. Haven't seen this much salt since that Viscant/LowTierGod money match a while back.
-
Well Galan is awesome.
Are we suppose to care about hawk? Because I am intrighed by his new form. I'm also wondering if Gunther didn't messed Arthur up.

Enjoy.

Galan with magic power is gonna be gorgeous!
Shit of a chapter btw, Mel is pervert, nor a strategist.

@Shobu:

Meliodas knows the commandments better than anyone else though, so that has to count for something
-
For a moment I though: Are those Ban's kids?

Let the absurd power boosts…BEGIN!
1st, we have the lower power boosts ever by Gilthunder and Howser!
2nd, we have the biggest power boost ever by Meliodas!
3rd, King is fucking screwed in the head! That counts for something, right?
No, seriously. I expect everyone to shorten the gaps between themselves in some way or another. But HOW? If that training was enough to boost the holy knights strength in a measly 10-15% increase, how are they gonna get a 1000% increase somewhere down the line if they went specifically to the druids land to TRAIN? Shouldn't the big boost be done or well under way already?
And apparently, the new shota and his friend are strong enough to not fear the Commandments?
-

Ever heard about "overconfidence"?
-
And apparently, the new shota and his friend are strong enough to not fear the Commandments?
I got the impression they belong to a third (or fourth) part in the battle. Who will be?
Not particularly fond of the ratings thing.
Let's hope we'll meet again Zaneli doing something else interesting. The sabotage must be the beginning of something else.
EDIT: The new guys belong to this same group.
-
Galan was 26000 without his magic back. Melodias' level doesnt seems like an exaggeration, then again he is on rest mode so his power can still multiply.
The training for the rest of the guys seemed a little pointless. And I wonder what can Ban do to reach a commandment's level besides stealing their power.
Anyway, I'm pretty hyped to see Escanor back on action.
-
I wonder if Hawk's transformation is permanent or if he'll return to his pig-self eventually. I enjoy how silly it is though: "Hey I'm a tyrannosaurus pig dragon, I can breathe fire" proceeds to become roast pig. Also relieved Elisabeth didn't actually fail, that would've been a bit too… cliché? Anyway.
Alright chapter, happy they're finally pursuing Escanor, not so impressed with Miss Cupid and Mr. Permanent Super Saiyan. They better show some interesting personality or I'm rooting for the demons this round.
-
That Escanor hype, Mel pretty much admitted he is the strongest Sin.
Next chapter, Fraudrin is gonna stomp those 2 knights?
-
@Zar:
"Hey I'm a tyrannosaurus pig dragon, I can breathe fire"
that was my impression when I read the chapter: he is a dragon.
-
Hawk is a Kirby.
-
Nakaba forshadowed it in the side chapter when Mel meets Hawk.
And thats isnt even his final form
-
Wonder if Hawk was eaten by a creature with resurrection ability.
-
Love the Hawk bit, but it kinda bugs me how everyone (but King) doesn't have any sense of urgency when it comes to finding Diane.

I literally forgot about her until I read this.

I really enjoyed the shocking reveal that Elizabeth is Liz reincarnated. That came as a big surprise to me :ninja:

I never considered the sins to be such great companions to each other(or have a sense of urgency when it's not personal).

I'm thinking more in dragon ball terms now (which is sad but hey I'm used to it at this point) where they can essentially "power up" during the heat of battle and what have you, but I don't think it will be as dramatic as Mel by any means.
Edit: was galan considered the weakest of them? If not, and he's a mid tier in terms of power that means technically there would me some commandments that gilthunder and co. could possibly take on as a group? Like of a commandment as a PL of say 10k or something more manageable.
-

I said it earlier; hauzer and gil training reminded me of Yamcha ten shin han and chaoz training with King Kai. Like a cool and useless training.
Edit: was galan considered the weakest of them?
We don't know what's the level of the commandments yet.

King has faries and a magical tree, Ban is immortal and has a weird magical water in his veins, Diane has whathever giants have and works for the Badass chief, Merlin is so Op with her spells she had to lose her body, Gowther's spells seems to work on everything and isn't really alive.
The sins should be fine to power-up. The rest of the cast? Probably will take care of some grey or other weaker demon in some epic invasion. Or they can team up and beat one commander.
Those 2 kids are going two be a good way to show Fraudin style. I would advise to not hope much from them.

I wonder how Griamor will go back to normal?

Rule of Shonen Hype dictates that the first in a group of villains to fight and overpower the heroes is usually the weakest, so when the revelation comes it's more scary. Imagine if after defeating Raditz, he said "it's not over yet, cause now my two brothers will come to avenge me! they're a bit weaker than me, though, so don't worry that much…" When it took Goku's life and then some to defeat the (by far) weakest saiyan, it put an ominous feeling over the arrival of the new foes.
That being said, I could easily see most of them being equally strong with brunette Meliodas and Meliodas-wanted-poster-face commandment as the strongest. And maybe Fraudrin.
I wouldn't mind about Gil's power boost being so ridiculous if we hadn't spent an entire chapter (wait, it was more like a chapter and a half) on their growth mid-training, and all that amounting to such a ridiculous boost. . .and then saving the huuuuge power boost that's coming their way (cause they'll have a much more significant power boost, for sure) mid battle. It kinda makes their training, as Ukimix says, as that cool but ultimately useless thing that could've been skipped.
Oh, and King and Ban have always had all those powers and abilities all along, and as good as they sound on paper, they weren't very useful against Hendricksen, who's an absolute pansy compared to the big guns of the Sinsverse. Just like Merlin was utterly overpowered by Galan, she even admitted she wasn't fast enough to summon anything that could hurt Galan before being destroyed herself. They all need a power boost the size of Manhattan, cause that's the second Rule of Shounen Hype: the only thing that matters is your PW, as it dictates how your attacks effect your enemies.

3rd, King is fucking screwed in the head! That counts for something, right?
Did I miss something ?
BTW, shouldn't the commandements go by group of 2 ? Is the second one hidden or did Fraudin prefer to go solo ?
-
Did I miss something ?
Imaginary dead friend talking to him. That's counts for being slightly coco bananas to me.

Oh! Poor kids… The other one is off paneled now. But he/she must be there.

Helbram has been in the helmet for a while now…

Dude, that's Helbram's soul inhabiting the memento. Did you fall asleep while reading that chapter or what, lol.

Oh… reincarnation themes now? All of a sudden...
Kage's idea of Hawk being Kirby might come as reality, and i prefer it.
What's being coco bananas?

…wait, what? Helbram IS in that helmet for real? It's not symbolic or in King's mind but he's in there? Lika Polnareff inside that turtle?
No, seriously. This was stated in the manga?

Well if it's not true then King has totally gone mad as his illusion rationalize why he isn't one.

The true is that's an illusion, King is ok and we all are coco bananas.

http://manga.redhawkscans.com/reader/read/the_seven_deadly_sins/en/0/105/page/15Holy ass, batman. I had totally, 100% forgotten about that.
Ok then, I'll concede.
I can't wait for Shanks' death and how he'll be stuck to a strawhat for all eternity.
"Hi, I'm Shanks, and I'm a hat now. I don't know what the fuck happened. I was partying, as usual, getting real wasted, when a fat bearded ass came looking for trouble…and now I'm a talking hat. Fuck me sideways."

Nope. It's Roger trolling everybody in OP world. The OP doesn't exist.

To be fair, Galan doesn't need to be the weakest because he is currently much weaker than he can be. Power level in this manga is made of Magic+strength+spirit and the 10 commandments are lacking their magic power right now. Galan's current power level is 26,000 with just strength and spirit. We don't know much magic contributes to his regular power as a whole, but if it is his forte than his real power level could surpass 40,000. Even if it isn't, I can't see his total being less than 30,000.
-
I'm on the team of King being batshit crazy.
Ghosts and spirits are not an alien thing in this manga, but that one of the main characters may be hallucinating his dead fried is too attractive to discard.
-
No no no, see, Helbram is King's Ghost Nappa. He likes to hum Michael Jackson whenever King is being too serious.
-

Usually that's because it is a second wave coming so it has to be more threatening. In this case not only Galan is still part of that threatning force but he was weaken when he was taking on the sins (and destroyed by Mel). And I'm pretty sure the rule of shonen also dictates whoever villain get a beaten once again is a powerful once achieved his final form(or crazy powe-up).

I always how that passage seems like the author saying "Shut up it's magic".

Especially when it's King. Nakaba loves to mess with king.

I wonder how Griamor will go back to normal?
seriously though, it's kind of creepy watching him being swaddled in the arms of an already creepy looking Slader.
Please end this bit ASAP.Edit: I also wonder what author is going to do about powering up and the hell his actual abilities are.

Yes, I'm not liking how Slader is being written so far.

Come on! Slader is a tender babysitter. Even more, it's unique: from assassin to boylover to babysitter. Where can you find a character like that, uh?
A possible explanation of why Eli dreams about Estarrosa: Elis is the reincarnation of Liz who is a reincarnation of another past lover of Meliodas, and this lover is also a reincarnation and so on up to the last reincarnation who was a woman who play an important role in the ancient holly war, 3000 years back. That ancient woman and Estarrosa know each other from that time. So now, Elizabeth, the reincarnation of that ancient woman, can dream about him.
And time for another theory: the big power of Griamor now should be stinky flying deaper!

on a serious note they never said why he is a small fragile child. Explain yourself dammit. I'm sure it has something to do with him being scared of his own power or something of that nature, I just hope it doesn't last too long tbh.

Arthur is getting a Yusuke like powerup, heck he has been resembling him with that thing on his head that looks like Puu

If I were to guess the weakest demon based on nothing it will Fraudin.
For Grimoire I'm surprise how much no one seems to care. I would expect some reaction from his cfriends or an explanation from Merlin.
