I wonder how Oda chose the characters resting in Kyros' house :wassat:
Its the most wanted ones/the ones more injured.

So Kuma has a kid? Kuma Jr looking guy in the revolutionaries appeared a few times this chapter.

Can't wait for Luffy to free Doflamingo from impel down to help him save Sabo from the marines.
About Dragon…
What if he had a Tengu Tengu No Mi?
From Wikipedia:In this chapter we do kinds see Dragon in the act of landing after flying, and we know he can create or manipulate winds. And some people do think he is linked somehow, ideologically or materially (either because being a Tengu-man he likes to have bird friends, or because he somehow summoned them through his DF), to the crows Sabo rides at the end of the chapter.
I mean, almost all revolutionaries have animal hats and other beasty-inspired clothes. It would fit if Dragon had a (kinda) animal-inspired fruit.
Thoughts?
Dagnabit, I wanted to say that!
Can't wait for Luffy to free Doflamingo from impel down to help him save Sabo from the marines.
Assuming he even goes to Impel Down. Though it'd be a great place to lock him in Level 6, but then he has knowledge of that national treasure of Mariejoa….so it remain to be seen if his trump card will save his ass.....
Plus every former shichibukai so far is back on the open sea, so unless Oda is going to change that trend, Doffy & co will be pirates on the open sea once more....
The lack of concern over the Sunny group is really weird. I'm assuming Robin already got in touch and they're fine? And where are Kinemon and Kanjuro? Strange that Bellamy got invited to Kyros' slumber party over them.

Lol, yes! Starring Trebol as new Mr. 3 and Pica as new Inazuma.
looks like bellamy will be the next sh
Glitch ? On the last panel of the first page, it looks like Kyros has two legs (assuming he's in the bottom right corner, sleeping on the floor).
Nice chapter altogether. Amnesia is…Well, it's been done time and again, so not really a brilliant explanation, but it fits pretty decently with the overall story.
I'm also glad that we have a "chill out" chapter instead of jumping straight into more action or a giant party that would feel too soon, too forced.
The talking raven are mysterious, though. I hope we learn more about that in the future.
You can't post a poll mid-topic, so I have posted one in a new topic. What fruit do you think Dragon has?

Strange that Bellamy got invited to Kyros' slumber party over them.
Yeah! How can Zoro enjoy his drink with Bella in the room ? Who told him that Bella was cool now ?
Maybe Zoro actually forgot Bellamy
@Yamato:
wohooo … glad they are one step ahead from Manga Panda
Is it me or does it look like Kyros has two legs now
!
Likely a mistake that will be fixed in the volume release. Oda's done it before - twice! He drew Shanks with both arms and Crocodile with both hands at points and went and corrected it with the chapters were collected into a volume release.
What if Dragon has some Legendary Zoan fruit based on a god? Odin, for instance, had two ravens at his command.
Odin was a sky-father as well, so wind could fit in … loosely
OT
What the hell happened to Kidd's neck? Looks painful.
Whatever it was was likely same thing that happened to that arm. When we see it's its a huge mechanicial monstority

Well Kinemon and Kanjuro were not a) greatly injured and b) not wanted criminals. Bellamy is both so not so surprising he's there when they are not. They are likely at the castle while the major players Law & Luffy were hidden away in the isolated cabin.
It has a looong time since I enjoyed a One Piece chapter.
Why cant we have more history focused chapters like this? When the characters and background for the story are so good its a waste to have 50 chapters of pointless fights and 2-3 chapters that really tell something of interest.
Quite surprised that Zoro didn't go to sleep like he did during Nami's flashback.
Besides: amnesia. How covenient and cheap…

Who is under the blanket with Kyros ?
That, detective, is the right question.
i like that Dragon's respond towards his subordinates question about whether he is Luffy father or not is like Garp or Luffy style.
The crows are probably the doing of an other character. In the panel where he lands on the ship, Dragon has still wind coming out of his coat.
For now I will keep clinging to the weather or dragon theories.
Well its like luffy hearing the sea kings. Maybe Dragon trained Sabo using the power to hear all things (like Roger)l

Oh! I didn't think about that. Seems possible. Would Oda use a normal speech bubble though ?
I feel like the art is getting better again, I hope Oda keeps this up.

The "pointless"stuff is what I enjoy the most.
The post arc stuff is always good but it just feels like tacked on revelations to me without the storytelling that I read One Piece for and just hype.
So this chapter was perfect imo but if you're lumping the last chapter with it I wouldn't consider it so and liked a decent amount of stuff in Dressrosa as much or more than it.
I agree. There is a limit to how much you can trust your friends. I hope that Kinemon isn't chilling at the palace while Momo is in danger.
Wouldn't even suprise me… We still have alot of shit going on in Dressrosa...
BTW I'm sorry but I can't get over Sabo's design... really... I hate it
OK my take on the chapter…
Boring… The amnesia was expected but still somehow weak... And I still can't see that Ace never heared about the 2nd in command revo but fodder of Dressrosa.
It seems to me that Sabo only started getting into the public's eye after Ace's death. I'm assuming that's why he wanted to speak to Dragon, to change his role from backline to frontline, which would give him an opportunity to search for the fruit and hopefully meet up with Luffy.
No more serious questions… Where the f*** are the crows from? I do not understand why they are there if Sabo andCo will leave with a ship
Its simple, so that whoever it is can conserve their energy. Remember stamina is now a factor in Devil Fruits.
And really… Zoro, Robin and Franky are chilling her stories and not giving a damn about Sanji and Co... It's not like they have been fighting a Yonkou ship the last time they have talked
Because they know and trust their crewmates enough to know that they will take care of business if they say they will. Plus they just survived Dressrosa and all the enemies there, I don't see why they should worry that the others wouldn't uphold their part of the mission.
Oda's art lately has been consistently great. Most of Dressrosa has been. And these past request cover stories are awesome.
Chapter's pretty damn good to me. It's effective, it's emotional, and worth it just for the retelling of Luffy and Sabo's meeting at the Colosseum that got cut first time we saw it. Would've preferred if Sabo also cried a river like Luffy, but apparently he only cried afterwards while talking to Koala.
Talking crows be crazy, I'm really loving the running gag of people punching the poor operator everytime Sabo hangs them up and a hint of Dragon's power at work. Sabo mimicking Luffy when he found out Ace died. Kuma, Ivankov and Inazuma. Terminator eye Franky, and his circuitry messing up again once he starts crying, even after fixing it. Bellamy sleeping with the rest. All little details that, to me, make this chapter probably better than the main content should make up for. But that's part of this manga's charm.
But let's just talk about how disappointing amnesia is as a plot point (it is, indeed); that was such a small part of the overall experience I don't quite care about it?

So basically a plot device… again.

You can trust but you also could care. Seriously it's not some common enemy but a Yonkou shup with no knowledge if Big Mom is on it. Further more they have CC and a small child on the ship.
the whole amnesia thing was really unnecessary and cliché.. just being too far away for being present at the war would have been enough of an explanation
I put this in the spoiler thread (in response to what Luffy on Sabo really looked like) and people seemed to like it… so I'm re-posting it here... I apologize.
!
About the crow…
So it has been there in the past as well with the revos... Really curious on who iis controlling them

The thing with Shanks was in the anime, not in the manga
About the crow…

Dragon is an awakened crow crow no mi user who can control crows around him.
You heard it first from me in the spoiler thread :)
Pretty predictable explanation and still I wouldn't accept any other thing than amnesia stopping Sabo.
And I cried…. I am too sensitive when it comes to Ace and anything related to his death :cwy:
Nope I think with Aohige's explanation that it is someone clore to Dressrosa. My take is either on some revo we haven't seen or Bunny Joe
About the crow…

Yoho! Good job finding this.
LOL @ Zoro smiling.
I didn't expect Luffy to get a vivre card so casually. Without seeing how it is created.

That does not explain the last 10 years .
Oda had to come up with a reason why sabo did not contact them for so long.
Amnesia is boring and cliché but it gets job done without any problems to explain.
I put this in the spoiler thread (in response to what Luffy on Sabo really looked like) and people seemed to like it… so I'm re-posting it here... I apologize.

That … is the section that needs to go to the 'out of context' thread.
I've copied and was planning on blanking out the word bubbles since... well its just funnier that way ... until I read this!
Hey, Robin was badly injured. She looks fine now, Oda's mistake? BTW I found the chapter good but melancholic, also I think that Bellamy will join the crew…BOOM!
the whole amnesia thing was really unnecessary and cliché.. just being too far away for being present at the war would have been enough of an explanation
Ace execution was announced few days before the war. Enough time to get there. Been too far away would have been B.S
Question: why the hell does the cottage have a water wheel on the side of it?
Do not understand this part… Sorry
You were asking why they needed a ship if they could just fly the crows back to HQ or wherever their next destination is, right?
I was saying that the reason they aren't doing that might be because(if the corws are a DF ability) the user has to conserve his stamina/energy ala Law.
Even on the second to last page it looks like Kyros is drawn with two legs. What the hell.
I presume before the war, Sabo was not revolutionary army No.2 yet? it even ugly if he is that famous and Ace didn't even heard the name of Sabo
Hey, Robin was badly injured. She looks fine now, Oda's mistake? BTW I found the chapter good but melancholic, also I think that Bellamy will join the crew…BOOM!
She got hit in the back with some spiked balls, not exactly life threatening.
Finally. Figures as soon as the climax fight ends, I end up liking the series again. Guess I'll just look forward to the set-up parts and not put too much expectations on the payoff.
Seeing them all just… relax and sleep, we've been needing this. Sabo finally got an explanation as well. It was a bit weak and cliché, but it did it's job to fill in gaps in the story so I won't rat on it. I wouldn't be able to do better.
So many adorable things this chapter. Zoro smiling, Robin in general, everyone sleeping, Franky-nator, Dragon's response to having a son, the chapter cover...
Good chapter.
She got hit in the back with some spiked balls, not exactly life threatening.
Whaaat?? Are you nuts? I dare to try it yourself. She was bleeding badly.
I put this in the spoiler thread (in response to what Luffy on Sabo really looked like) and people seemed to like it… so I'm re-posting it here... I apologize.
Don't understand why the teabagging was so mandatory. What's wrong with good old non-awkward hugs?
Whaaat?? Are you nuts? I dare to try it yourself. She was bleeding badly.
You know this is One Piece, right?
Hmm, I find this to be a very nice chapter despite how average the amnesia plot felt to me, but the chapter was still good none the less. I'm just glad we got to see more about Sabo. :)
Btw, Sabo riding on crows is pure awesomeness! :D
Is Dragon not only god damn fast, but also has a flight ability?

16 char of so?
She should have at least some bandages, in perfect One Piece style after a brutal combat.
