I was planning on a One Piece night, too. It isn't so much this one error that bothers me, so much as it's a problem with every single One Piece product they put out. Whether it's unexplained or lengthy delays or whatever else, Funimation drives me nuts with it's unreliability.
Suppose that's what you get with a company run by anime fans. No offense, but we aren't exactly known for being the most mature as a whole.
I think that's what gets to me most, too. It's not simply that something happened and now this is delayed for however long. It's that they seem to have a really bad habit of this crap. I haven't paid much attention to them in the past to know any specifics, but I keep hearing mentions of how they've had delays more than a few times over the years. You would think a company in business this long and working on such popular shows would have their shit together better than this. I mean, one guy posted to their Facebook page before their delay announcement, asking what was going on. I replied to him, and he replied back again figuring they wouldn't even tell us anything. If someone's first assumption is that we will NOT get any notice about what's going on, that says something about how you handle your business and your PR.
Seriously, I hope they have an update tomorrow that is a little better than "technical difficulties". I've had an extra crappy month this past month, and was really looking forward to more English dub Brook. I want to see more of him before the month is over, damn it. Brook doesn't seem to have much role in Dressrosa other than whichever episodes involve the lady with the art power devil fruit, so I can't even really just pick back up with the sub and see more of him that way.
