Baby 5 for new crew member.
Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)

Baby 5 for new crew member.

I like shitty pattern theories that have to ignore Vivi and Carue, count or not count Luffy depending on the number needed, don't account for Nami and Robin's flashbacks comign extremely late, that the actual official joining order is different than introduction order, (Usopp didn't get his named chapter till Water 7, Robin and Chopper still haven't) and put Jinbe into a fixed place even though he hasn't actually joined yet, or the fact that the start of the series was paced very differently, all based around completely nonsensical patterns the person made up where similar logic could be tied to any other two set of characters… all while ignoring that that's just not how most writers write.
There's legitimate intentional patterns, (inspiring mentor, grand dream) and then there's grasping for straws.

what am natural story progression beep boop
future story development only possible though rigid mathematics beep bop

You'll get more mileage out of noticing most strawhats are uniquely marked on their left side and then trying to explain why Robin, Franky and Brook break the pattern.
(Luff's scar, Zoro's eye, Nami's tatoo and log pose, Usopp's bracelet, Sanji's hair part/eye depending on skip, Chopper's horn, Brook's fracture, Jinbe's eye scar)
Or hey, have you noticed that Nami, Franky and Jinbe all have tatoos? Clearly a pattern! That's the third, seventh and tenth person!
But Luffy, Usopp, Robin, Brook and Jinbe all have black hair! The first, fourth, sixth, eigth and tenth! So clearly the odd numbered strawhats not couting Luffy but starting with Zoro all have unusual hair colors! Unless Jinbe is the ninth in which case the theory makes no sense at all!
Oooh, I got it! Devil fruit-normal-normal-normal-normal! Followed by devil fruit-devil fruit, robot, devil fruit, fishman! The pattern is so obvious!
Boy-boy-girl-boy-boy-boy-girl-boy-boy-boy! If you ignore vivi and carue, and arbitrarily break it up after the fourth and eighth member, then you get Boy-boy-girl-boy, followed by another Boy-boy-girl-boy! And since we're now on boy-boy, clearly the next member will also be a girl, followed by Jinbe making a perfect arbirtrary pattern!
-
All Strawhats are bipedal creatures with mammalian characteristics and presumably breathe oxygen
Therefore the next crewmate will also be a bipedal creature with mammalian characteristics and presumably breathe oxygen
THE PATTERN CHECKS OUT

Chopper has four legs, and Brook doesn't breathe! And who knows what Jinbe as a fishman does!
Your pattern is dumb!
I will concede that they all have skulls, however.

How can u be sooo sure???
HAVE YOU SEEN FRANKY maybe instead of a terminator skull its actually a very complex plexiglass frame that holds his eyes and mouth
AND LOOK AT JINBE
WHERE DOES HIS HEAD END AND SHOULDERS BEGIN
U CANT CRITICIZE MY PATTERN UNLESS ODA GIVES THE FULL SCOOP ON PANEL
-
-
Would you call it all coincidence?
Yeeeeees?
(actually, most of them I wouldn't call even that)
-
All of the strawhats start with a Consonant (except the anti-strawhat Usopp).
All of the strawhats end in a vocal (Brooke! NICO Robin) except the anti-strawhat Usopp.
Fake usopp looked disturbingly similar to Blackbeard, and what's with the mask? Maybe Usopp doesn't BELONG with the crew?
-
I'm pro Logia crewmember, if we are going to have a shichibukai, we'll need even more firepower to face the emperors.
Pick your logia!
1. Sand?
2. Electric?
3. IcE?
4. Water? We have to see someone with it!
5. Wind? same as water!
6. Gas?
7. Other unseen element -

I joined this site to say that I want the 3 eyed girl to join.
-
I vote for Monet to join the straw hats due to her being an astronomer. And I have proof to prove it my friends. ;)
-
Hancock supoorters used to be really annoying, wonder if 3 eyed girl is gonna be modestly annoying like Monet's or Becca's supporters or if is gonna be just as extremely annoying as Hancock's.
-
the actual pattern for crewmembers is
luffy wants them on his crew -

I just want her to join because she has three eyes, the crew is full of weirdos.
-
As for the whole, pick a Logia, I would enjoy seeing another solid Logia (similar to Aokiji). In particular, wood.

When Monet comes back I am interested to see what becomes of her helping chopper. A cover-story of her finding her heart and potentially seeing what happened to the axolotl fruit would be a heck of a lot more interesting than this overdrawn Jinbe coverstory, poneglyph or no poneglyph. I guess I just have to live with it so they can milk it for him to meet up with swirlyhats real time. Her character design is one of the best in the series, so it will be nice to see what role she plays.

For the LAST DAMN time, it wasn't Monet that threw the note to Chopper. It was Law.

…how are people STILL electing Monet as a future Strawhat?
It really is baffling.

Room Powers + Logic
yeah that's it. Proof for Monet being responsible for the note?

No, for real. Law was tied up! Yes you could argue that he was wearing fake Chains to fool Cesar clown. But he was being watch by everybody on the transportation snails, and he had to fake losing his powers. So? Why can't monet be the one who threw chopper the note? lol She saw him runaway but didn't Inform Cesar. Why? Cause she cares about children and he'd would of found out if she didn't inform him about it. HELL! If she wanted to she would've kill Robin with a stab through her heart but she hit her shoulder instead. Pretty suspicious don't you think? XD

Despite helping to feed them super addictive killer drugs?

Monet was about to kill them all with a boom though. We don't need a schizophrenic in the crew…or do we ?
Besides, it was pretty risky to assume that the pet of a pirate crew can read. -
lol
Yeah…that's where the idea of Monet becoming a Strawhat kind of explodes into a gazillion pieces.

If I'm not wrong, Sogeking is spoken like Sogekingu, which fits perfectly.

We LITERALLY JUST HAD a chapter where Law was shown to hide his powers while actually using them, where a guy as strong and smart as Dofla had no idea they were in use, and believed him to be dead.
Yes, Monet trying to kill Toshigi and countless others, including Zoro, can be ignored…..
-
I don't think the note was from Monet, but Oda was incredibly vague if it came from Law. We're talking about the author that feels to the need to clear up that Koala = the girl Tiger saved or Absa = Absalom. Yet the note isn't mentioned once by Law, Chopper, or Oda after the chapter it appears.
-
Even if the scene was vague, it's pretty damn stupid to assume that Monet was responsible for it. At the time it was safe to assume that, but after learning everything about Monet to this point…yeaaaah no. It wasn't Monet.
-
Plot twist:
It was really Vergo. He is a double double crosser. He was really helping Law out. He did not die. He will meet up with Sanji and help defeat Big Mam crew.
vergo for nakama :ninja: -

Yes…. Against Doflamingo! That's a different beast to tackle. XD I'm not saying that Monet was born evil and junk. All I'm asking is why isn't that there's chapters after Punk hazard arc where a River of white bunnies were shown in the Ocean. And no, the filler doesn't count. I like filler but even Oda dodges the question when one fan asks if Monet is alive or not. He basically just shove it off like it was nothing. Monet will return, just not in the upcoming years. lol

I thought the note was from that giant girl Mocha.

I thought the note was from that giant girl Mocha.
She wasn't even there.
Anyways, all evidence points to it being Law. He knew Chopper was there and warned him not to involve himself because he already had a plan.

Seemed Ambiguous to me. My thought was that it was Monet. To be clear, I don't think she will be a Straw Hat… I just think she has a great character design and is not dead.

Who, Barto?
Apart from the fact that he'd have traveled all the way from East Blue with his crew to only abandon them when it suited him?
Ie. one of the most un-SH like actions in the entire series?
Most of the SHs abandoned people to join the crew. Ussop was the captain of his just like Bart and still left. Idk that is a good point actually. I would say it depends on Barr whether he would leave them or not

The people they left were developed properly (Franky Family, the kids at Syrup Village, the citizens of Cocoyashi, Kureha, etc) and the respective crewmember got an emotional goodbye because of that.
While the Barto Club has barely been shown at all.

Usopp left his friends in their home town to continue living their lives, as did Franky.
Barto would be leaving his crew stranded and captainless after travelling hundreds of miles through the most dangerous seas in the world.
There's a world of a difference.

Freaking Usopp was the captian of a make believe crew of Momonosukes…

i agree, which is why I said it was a good point. Just saying they both left people behind
-
So i see clever insights why some characters won`t join.
NON of them apply to Perona.
She will be the one and AGOG was right all the way.
Case closed -

Yeah, I know, I was just making the distinction between the manner in which they left people.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah def a big difference

I would be quite happy if there isn't a new crew member. It feels like the right balance has been reached. Adding another Straw Hat means more separation of time betwixt characters.

Are you still an anime only watcher ? You should be careful around here.
