So Desa, what were you trying to say? From that page with Eneru it looks like you agree with me.
Oficial translation is different:
"Uhm.. with this mantra power are you able to know exactly whose it is?"
"I am" " In adition to mantra, I can use my lighting powers to read electric signals and listen in on conversations"
The meaning of the page is completely diferent, in the translation Nami is worried about Conis, not about some random disturbances, Enel talks about "that girl on angel island"
Thanks.

why is it when i am trying to add a signature it is telling me i am not permitted to? if it is the time limit i have another account from 2010 but forgot my password and wasn't able to post, neither view spoiler thread even though my password was reset and i had to create a new account. The other question is if joining date is the issue can't both accounts be merge?

Honestly i am not sure how to get the information regarding the image size but i am getting a message that it can't be bigger than 500 x 200 mega pixel

The only way I know of is with the app Tapatalk, when you view someone's profile it shows how many posts the user has made.
You have 4643

So with 543 days on those forums, I average 8.5 posts a day. Not bad.
Shame I don't have any way to track it, I could have made something special for celebratory 5000…

Try using a site like pic resize to bring your image down to an acceptable size without losing it's aspect ratio.

Without Taptalk, the other way is to go to the Member List, and search for members. Enter an approximate value of your post count (say, 5000) into the post count section. If you enter 5000 into "is less than", and your name comes up, you have less than 5000 post, and so on. Through a bit of trial and error, adjusting accordingly, you can find your exact post count.
I have 1551 posts. I'm so disappointed….
I'm sitting on around 6238 posts, which averages out to 9.1 posts a day over the course of my stay at Arlong Park.
It's really weird to see the number of posts I've made over the course of nearly 2 years lol

Well, I guess I post my question here and let the others do the work:
The current discussion what an arc is could be avoided when you divide the actual question. How many chapters the Strawhatcrew stayed on Dressrosa in comparison to former islands? And how long were the SH meddling with Dofla and his underlings in comparison to former Shichibukai/other villains?
Here's a question I've wondered about. Why didn't Doflamingo comment on the fact that Law was one of the supernovas involved in disrupting his slave trade shop on Sabaody? Did he not know Law was there? Was he too preoccupied with the upcoming war with Whitebeard? Or was the backstory between Law and Doflamingo not fleshed out yet?

He didn't comment on the fact because he didn't care.
It's similar to how he never asked Luffy if he reached Sky Island.
He was done with the whole Slave trading business and as you said, he was more interested in Whitebeard War.
Iam not sure, but does Leo have a DF now, or is his stitching just a technique?
(I know that in a german fairy tail it says that some dwarfs(or whatever they were called) come by night and fixed the unfinished clothes of a tailor.
So that was the inspiration at least.)

He has a devil fruit, the Sew Sew fruit. It was stated in chapter 711.
Thanks for the reminder.
Cheers

We didn't knew they were related back then. Doffly didn't care about slave trading anymore. The strawhats screw his shop not Law.
Now that we know that Monet and Sugar originally came from bad backgrounds we can safely say that all of the Donquixote Family is full of people who actually have tragic backstories to tell even Diamante has a sad past even though he is in the present irredeemable.
Since he insisted on his weight being literally ten thausand tons, he is definitely a devil fruit user.
But Miss Valentine already has the power to change her weight with the Kilo Kilo fruit.
So there are three main theories around here:
-He has the Ton Ton fruit rather than the Kilo Kilo. Meh, pretty unoriginal IMO
-Rather than his weight, he changes the weight of the things he touches. The shield he always carries in this case.
-He has a mythical zoan that allows him to do one of the former two. This is backed up by the tail he has in almost every panel (present and flashback)I tend to think that it's the second one. Since we have already seen a "normal" human with a tail before.
i always thought he had the vice fruit. His fruit pulls him to a surface with however much force he wants. He just describes the force with weight. I thought that's why he always hurts his stomach. His devil fruit doesn't protect him, he basically just throws himself at things really hard. It always made more sense to me since miss valentine's fruit is changing weight
That would be the gravity-fruit Issho is using^^

This issue is still really confusing me. The Viz translation, the third and probably most accurate one I've read, of that chapter just came out and all that dialogue is basically gone.
Machvise's entire schtick is throwing himself belly first at an enemy and then complaining his tum-tum hurts. There is no devil fruit mentioned or implied at all.
He is described as 'a slippery one' rather than anyone saying he slipped through the air.
As that page during when he joins the Senor Pink fight against Franky is the only time anyone even bothers to say that much about what he does I'm finding him rather frustrating.
This isn't a book you need every t crossed on but this is a glaring omission.
Machvice's powers only allow to get heavier and heavier but the Miss Valentine's also make her lighter, two fruits with almost the same powers. Kind of like the Aokiji and Monet.
Random observation.
So Absalom was able to sneak into Kids secret hideout undetected, which I think confirms that neither Kid nor the other captains have KH because they would have been able to sense Absalom.
What are your thoughts ?

I won't be too sure. KH is pretty vague at this point and I think there are some different versions of it like hardening and normal armament of CoA.
I would say they don't possess the passive version of KH which is always in action(like Aisa, Coby and Enel).
But they still should be able to use the active version of KH where you make a conscious effort to detect someone and there moves.

KH =/= COA
From what we have seen Luffy, Zoro and Sanji have passive KH (sensing Caribou in the palace) which gives credence to the idea when you learn KH it becomes passive.
Luffy uses KH with his eyes open too.
@Lazy:

I wasn't saying that KH and CoA are same. But rather that just like how there is invisible CoA and Black CoA, there might be different versions of KH too.

It was never clarified how Luffy or others "sensed" Caribou's presence. The way I see it, Luffy had a passive ability which he used to inform Sanji and Zoro who could then sense him too.

This is what I was referring too, they sensed him passively.
!
I don't know what you mean by this.
Well generally people that use KH close their eyes so they can focus their KH on one particular thing similar to the Hancock sister(when fighting Luffy), the people in Skypea(when fighting the SH's) , Zoro when he was looking for Pica or Sanji when he was looking for Kinemons Torso.
However Luffy seems to be able to keep his eyes open and focus his KH which we have seen at least 3 times post time skip ( Punk hazard, Saboady and Dressrosa Coliseum)

Luffy sensed it passively. He then told about it to Zoro and Sanji. They even say how they noticed it only after Luffy mentioning it.
If you are saying that Luffy can use KH passively, I am on board. Sanji and Zoro, on the other hand have always been shown to search consciously.

Well they were sensing it, but they needed it to be pointed out.
Anyway going by what your saying, do you believe that Luffy has stronger KH than both Zoro and Sanji ?
Hmmm. Never noticed it. You might be on to something here
Yeah, it might mean stronger KH but who knows! I just wish he could put out a chapter or two with a character legitimately explaining everything about Haki.
@Lazy:
Well they were sensing it, but they needed it to be pointed out.

Not necessarily stronger. But different.
As in, Sanji will probably have the best predicting type KH, but will lack the passive sensing ability which allows to detect things you weren't even looking for.
Luffy will probably not be as good with predicting opponent moves but will have the ability to sense others' presence without even trying.
@Lazy:
Yeah, it might mean stronger KH but who knows! I just wish he could put out a chapter or two with a character legitimately explaining everything about Haki.
That would be a really great chapter. We will probably get it in the Vegapunk arc.

Well so far all of Luffy's KH feats show him to have a greater KH than Sanji.
E.g. The "strongest" gladiator attacking Lucy and Lucy casually dodging(think his name was spartan)
E.g. That guy(Jean the Bandit?) that collected the swords in the coliseum and threw them at Lucy and Lucy casually dodging them.
E.g. Luffy sensing Doffy's attack and saving Kyros.
That would be a really great chapter. We will probably get it in the Vegapunk arc.
Yeah, Vegapunk is one of the characters I can't wait to see introduced.

Agreed. I was just playing safe since Oda mentioned Sanji's speciality to be KH.

Yeah, people have confused that with meaning within the SH crew they are the strongest at it.
It just means that it's their strongest and favoured haki.
When Rayleigh was about to teach Luffy he said that people choose a type of Haki and focus on training that Haki more than the others(he ends up teaching Luffy both KH and BH + helping him train HH). I think that although Zoro and Sanji both know KH and BH, they each favoured one over the other and got stronger at it compared to the other or at least I think thats what Oda is implying.
Similarly Luffy knows all 3 Hakis' but his favoured and strongest one is HH.

Maybe. I am not too much of a fan of Sanji being best at KH as well.
If it were up to me, Usopp would have the best KH in the Straw hats.

Usopp might have a strong KH now that he has awakened it, we will have to see after this arc.
I would like to see Luffy, Zoro and Sanji teaching him about haki. That would be a good way for us to learn more about it.

This is a great Scenario. I don't personally see Luffy teaching anyone anything. (except maybe teaching Chopper some ridiculous stuff)
But Zoro or Sanji teaching Usopp can be a good way to explain how Haki works.

Wait… We are still under the impression that thing works like that? Santi failed to sense those on the boat. The boas didn't sense Luffy in the palace. It doesn't work when not meant to.

Luffy was searching for mermaid princess so not passive.
Sanji had opened eyes when searching the torso or sensing Tashigi in danger.

Well besides Luffy I think Sanji and Zoro might give Usopp a few pointers, Luffy could probably even throw the blind fold on Usopp and show him how Rayleigh taught him.
Wait… We are still under the impression that thing works like that? Santi failed to sense those on the boat. The boas didn't sense Luffy in the palace. It doesn't work when not meant to.
What do you mean they didn't sense Luffy in the palace ? He fell down from the roof into the water then the sisters ran in to see what happened to Hancock.
Also Kid etc were fighting during the time so if they had activated their Haki they would have sensed Absalom.
Sanji may not have passive KH as Crazy Merlyn hypothesised.
Luffy was searching for mermaid princess so not passive.
He was asking where she was, he wasn't actively searching for her with his KH. Luffy may have it on all the time?
Sanji had opened eyes when searching the torso or sensing Tashigi in danger.
I was wrong about that my bad.
In chapter 672 it does indeed seem like Sanji is using it with his eyes open, the anime had his eyes closed at one point and I kinda mixed them up.

I would like to see Luffy, Zoro and Sanji teaching him about haki. That would be a good way for us to learn more about it.
I could see them trying to teach Usopp by using examples characteristic to them, like Xoro telling him to train his body to the limit or Sanji using women as examples not really making sense, all af this seen through a flashback while Usopp is fighting a strong enemy kind of like Nami learning how to use the climate tact in Alabaster.
In the end Usopp is probably going to master it his own way
@Lazy:
What do you mean they didn't sense Luffy in the palace ? He fell down from the roof into the water then the sisters ran in to see what happened to Hancock.
They came because of the noise and had no idea what was going on.
Also Kid etc were fighting during the time so if they had activated their Haki they would have sensed Absalom.
Or they can't tell it's Absalom and haven't felt the need to count how many are suppose to be there. Or it only works when it's suppose to. Apoo was in a enemy base the minimum would be to activate his CoO(if it's needed).
Sanji may not have passive KH as Crazy Merlyn hypothesised.
Yet he sensed Tashigi being in danger.
He was asking where she was, he wasn't actively searching for her with his KH. Luffy may have it on all the time?
He was wondering where she was. Fair to guess he search for her with CoO. Especially sense he sensed Caribou at that moment.
I thought of something, could Nami's weather prediction abilities be a form of observation haki?
